Annabelle: The Cursed Doll

Rate this book
This is my interview with the late Ed Warren (September 7, 1926 – August 23, 2006) about Annabelle the cursed doll. The interview took place in the Warren's back yard in Monroe CT after myself and several classmates took a tour of the Warren's occult museum. I attended the weekly classes the Warren's used to have every week. Ed discusses how they got involved with the case, his interview with the girls, the attacks on Lou, how they got rid of demonic spirit from the girls apartment and what happened after they removed the doll and took it to their home. The doll is currently in a case in the Warren's Occult Museum.

Wish an interview with Lorraine was apart of it. Still a good, quick and scary read! Sometimes it’s hard to tell how much these two demonologists exaggerate or how reliable they can be, they’re well known for their overt dramatization. Still love ‘em.

Very Interesting

I am empathic and sometimes see Angels and demons. I have seen spirits at times as well. I have always been able to feel the emotions of others and I can feel the presence of spirits, both benevolent and malignant. I know first hand that we have spirits around us. In the house I grew up in we had a picture of my paternal grandmother hanging on the wall in my parent's bedroom. My sisters and I always had a bad feeling around that picture and were fearful around it. Sometimes we would have friends over who felt the same thing. Later in my life I learned that she was a very mean spirited woman. My grandfather actually joined and stayed in the Navy for over 30 years just to be away from her. After my mother died 6 years ago our oldest sister ended up putting that picture in her attic because none of us wanted to take it.
This interview with Ed Warren is very believable and I am sure that this really happened. I suggest you read it if you are interested in supernatural occurrences

Annabelle doll

I should have known it was going to be short but reading it in 15 minutes. This is why I usually don't buy case interviews.

Interesting interview

I am always fascinated by the Warrens and the cases they've investigated. This interview sheds a little more information about Annabelle and how it came to be such a potent force.

Good read

Loved the interview style reading, however the book was to short and ended to quickly. Was shocked when I was near the end as thought it would be in more detail and a lot longer.

Book is an interview between Ed Warren and the author

Recorded, then transcribed, the author interviews Ed Warren regarding the story of the doll, from its being gifted to the young nurse until the Warrens took it to their museum.

Great story

I love the story of Annabelle. Amazing how so many people saw her. She is one of a kind to be sure.

Informative short read, fills in a lot of the gaps left by an overly dramatized film series.

Don't be fooled

A short interview about the doll that the Warrens' keep in their museum of cursed item's. It was given with a student of theirs and Ed Warren (who died in 2006) was interviewed. It is short and embellished. A good cautionary tale.

Good interview

A few new bits of info and some different perspective. A good quick read for anyone interested in Annabelle and a good introduction to the Warrens.

I like this kind of stuff, scary but true stories. I'm weird I guess.
