Overall, it's my favorite volume in the series so far. I've always appreciated the author's insights into love and relationships (of all sorts) for being a cut above the average romcom light novel musings, and this volume explored said concepts more in depth than ever.
The main narrative actually ends at a really strange spot, not quite a cliffhanger but far from resolved, so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed when I got there. Thankfully, the epilogue *more* than makes up for it, and left me pretty happy with how the book leaves off in the end. This does get addressed in the afterword, where the author confirms the next volume has already been greenlit, so maybe we get it sooner than 2 years this time!
This volume was a great read, and I feel like the stuff happening in this volume manages to justify the last volume having adding a new character into the mix (something I was unsure about at the time).
I'll definitely be picking up the next volume when it's out!
