We’re back with increasingly high stakes, solid character development, and a couple of new faces! Nico, Val, and Louis are fun additions to an already great cast of characters. Davina continues to be an absolute badass while battling with the reality of who she works for. Mikey is adorable and amusing, I really enjoy how his relationship with Davina has grown. His relationship with Gabriel is also so special, I love seeing how much they love each other. The tension between Gabriel and Davina is palpable and I look forward to more! It’s a slow burn but absolutely worth the journey. The art is lovely, I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I am current to chapter 94 of this series via Webtoon, as of Nov 25 2025. and I am totally obsessed. I don't remember the last time I was this caught up in a drama/romance. Will definitely be checking back regularly for updates!

I really enjoyed this one. It keeps the action and suspense coming and just a WHIFF of romance in the air. Honestly, they are too busy trying to survive and maybe figure out who is trustworthy and who is not to fall into each others arms. I like it when the feelings come naturally and not insta.

Honestly, I'm not sure why the MC H doesn't just pop a cap in his uncle and take over the family business, but I guess it will be revealed in future volumes.

4, this has my attention and I can't wait to see what happens next, stars.

I'm a bit obsessed with this webtoon, and I want to thank whoever made the decision to print it. This volume collects episodes 13-24 of the webtoon series.

If you're new here: Davina is an elite nanny and she's currently in charge of Mikey, the son of the Venetian underboss, Gabriel Angelini. Davina is realizing just how dangerous the mafia world is, and she's only getting more tangled up in it. She's determined to protect Mikey, but something happens that makes her realize that her duty is clashing with her ethics.

This volume introduces new supporting characters: Val and Nico. Get ready to see more of them! The last thing I want to to mention is that this volume contains the *first* moment between Davina and Gabriel that highlights their awareness of each other in a more overt way. I read that scene, I think, last year, and it still lives rent-free in my brain.

Anyway, this webtoon series has me in a chokehold waiting for Monday nights. If you're a mafia romance reader, then definitely check this out.

If you aren’t physically attracted to Michele, then I don’t know if we can speak. Yes, I know that he’s a 2D character and I could care less. I read a review that said this felt like Dramione fanfic and now I can’t unsee it. But for me, it’s if Draco got massively buff and amount 1000% hotter. Not 100. Not 999. 1000%!!!

This is a play on the mafia don trope, but if the love interest was a really well trained nanny/bodyguard/hacker who is out to revenge the loss of her parents and she thinks it’s the Angelini’s who killed them. I don’t read a lot in that genre, but if I knew it was going to be like this, I’d be a new fan!

I will have to go back and read volume one since I jump right into volume 2.
So much has been going on but you can tell that danger lurks around Mikey and Gabriel, and the nanny is at a standpoint. She has something going on in her own head she wants answers about her past but also seems to have got attached to Mikey who has lost someone he loves.

Reading this was so much fun, Mikey is such a vibe and is hilarious but also has his moments. Gabriel seems to be in between his emotions which would like to figure out in the future. The nanny is mysterious to me and it might be because I missed volume 1 but I will for sure go back and keep this comic in my to be read to get all the info it was a great read.

Rating: 4 stars - It was really good

This was another really enjoyable volume. At the end of the previous volume, Davina was tasked with investigating who left the threat against Mickey on the property. In no time she finds the culprit and realizes that they were trying to set up another mafia group. This leads to more kidnappings and secrets revealed.

This volume was action packed and suspenseful from the very beginning. Davina is protecting Mickey from kidnappings, uncovers information about her parents, attends a mafia member filled birthday party, and has to decide if she is cut out for this job. I am really enjoying the progress of this story, especially how the different sides of Gabriel are being shown. Humans can be many things at once and we are really seeing that with this story so far.

Overall, I am really invested in this story and can’t wait to read more, especially after that suspenseful cliffhanger of an ending. I need to know what happens next so I will be jumping to webtoons to get caught up.

This volume builds beautifully on the first, with a deeper plotline and more character development. The introduction of new characters added even more intrigue, and I already can’t wait to see how their stories unfold in future instalments.

The art style is still absolutely STUNNING. Every panel looks so good and kept me hooked the whole time. The story feels like it’s still just getting started, but the character growth and new dynamics made it really engaging.

I’m definitely excited to continue with Volume 3 when it comes out!

4.5/5 • Me había olvidado de lo mucho que me había gustado el primer volumen de esta serie, y este segundo volúmen fue incluso mejor. Sigue justo dónde lo dejó el primero, hay mucho drama, misterio y tensión y me encantaAAA.

Además de todo eso, también tiene su lado cómico, las interacciones de Michael y Davina son demasiado lindas y son el equipo perfecto.

Hay personajes nuevos y es bastante interesante ver cómo se incorporan a la dinámica familiar, me quedé con ganas de leer más y más. Me da mucha curiosidad el pasado de Davina y cómo este se conectará a Gabriel, qué ganas del siguiente volumen!!

Continua siendo de mis historias favoritas dentro de webtoon y aunque esté volumen sea para la primera tanda de capítulos, de todas formas utilizaré este medio para expresar que estoy amando ver a partir del 45 en adelante como Gabriel y Davina se van acercando. No saben la emoción que tengo con sus momentos, ni hablar de cómo me revelaron que la madre de Gabriel era íntima amiga de la madre de Davina.

Por otro lado, la amistad de Mikey con Louis es la cosa más linda que pudieron inventar y hablando de niños estoy esperando con ansias los próximos capítulos en donde mostrarán un poquito más de lo que fue la vida de Davina.

If you loved the first book (you definitely did), the sequel takes everything up a notch. We dive deeper into the Angelini family - its power struggles, hidden tensions, family members, and all the drama that comes with it. The chemistry between Davina and Gabriel only gets hotter, especially with moments like the unforgettable dinner party and Gabriel convincing Davina to stay. And thanks to the little post-fire roomie situation, the forced proximity is everything I hoped for. I absolutely need the next book!

It’s getting better. Davina is learning that the Don is the one keeping tabs on Gabriel. He keeps using Mikey as leverage against him to do his evil bidding. Davina wants to get out but decides to stay for Mikey and then a house fire breaks out during Gabriel’s birthday. What’s next? 🤷‍♀️ guess I’m gonna have to wait.

Volume two contains episodes 13-26 of the webtoon.

We return to our favorite mafia family and their newly hired nanny just in time for some big character developments and quite a bit of plot advancement.

Davina signs Mikey up for art class hoping it will encourage him to be creative and grow his artistic skills, and some hope for him to make friends his age. However their enemies find out that Mikey is leaving the family compound, they use this to make a statement to the Gabriele and the rest of the family. At this time we get two new faces, Nico and Val, will they prove to truly be friend or will they be foe?

Davina continues to show her loyalty and willingness to do whatever needs to be done to keep her charge safe. However she has principles and she does not want to get involved in the Mafia business. She is at odds with what she thinks is right.

She also is trying to uncover the mysteries of her past and now that the current events are starting to look and feel quite like what happened when she was a child. Davina becomes increasingly more suspicious.

I love how Mikey and Davina are becoming closer , he truly has some one he know is there for him. He continues to want to be around his dad and the mafia life, but when Davina finds out why, she is more determined to uncover what is truly going on within the family and how she can protect Mikey and show him he can have a life away from crime.

Gabriele is keeping secrets, but how far do his secrets go. He asked for Davina specifically and keeps claiming it was because she does well with computers. However the longing looks and subtle hints he gives her, prove there is clearly more to the story. The tension between the two of them is so thick you could slice it with a knife. I wanna grab their heads and push them together and yell "KISS ALREADY!".

The character development is great in this volume. As i said lots happen but the way that they react to all the events, really shows how well these characters are thought out and written. The "side" characters are also so well flushed out and play a big part in moving the story forward.

Ill repeat this as I said this in volume one Gabriele * chefs kiss* , if you are looking for a mafia man who would burn the world down for the ones he loves, here is is ladies and gents. Also, don't think I missed how he got jealous at dinner when she was talking to someone else...I see you Gabriele, I know what your up to sir!

If your looking for a story to get totally absorbed in, I promise you The Mafia Nanny wont let you down. Its got action , its got slow burn romance, its got found family, its got a super hot mafia dad.
