“I’m not going to fall for a rockstar.” “And I’m not going to trust anyone.”
Famous last words.
Ivy Knight was set for a bright corporate career in London until her charming boss shattered her world with lies, cruelty, and a court case that won’t end. When her best friend offers her a lifeline — join a breakout American metal band on their cross-country tour — she grabs the chance to disappear. Ivy knows one she’s done trusting men. Especially powerful ones. Especially the heartbreakers.
Ren Sada is the heavily tattooed, untouchable, unforgettable, voice of Cyn, a band on the cusp of global superstardom. Behind the fame and fury, he’s hiding a secret that could destroy everything he’s built. He needs control. He needs clarity. He definitely doesn’t need Ivy distracting him for three long months... and undoing him with every glance. But as the tour heats up and their worlds collide in music, chaos, and desire, Ivy and Ren find themselves walking a tightrope between lust and ruin.
Secrets don’t stay buried on the road. And some flames can’t be extinguished.
Perfect for fans of dark rockstar romance, emotional slow burns, heroines who fight like hell to reclaim their power and morally grey heroes who yearn hard, Euclid is a story of rage, redemption, and forbidden love.
Euclid is book one in the Cyn series. It is a dark, forbidden, forced proximity, slow-burn, rockstar romance with secrets, emotional moments, grumpy/sunshine themes, and so much more.
I absolutely loved this book! I loved how the relationship between Ren and Ivy develops. I loved the angst and chemistry between them, as well as the trauma and healing. It was all around an awesome story.
This was my first read by this author and I'm definitely excited for more. The writing, storytelling, plot, pace, flow, and characters were all terrific, as were the character development, relationship development, storyline, and world building. I really enjoyed this story and will be patiently awaiting the next book in the series.
If you're looking for a dark romance full of music, secrets, and yearning, this is the book for you!
Ren is a forbidden fruit; a handsome, talented rockstar who hides more secrets than the tattoos on his body. He lets no one close to him, and he MUST be in control! His world comes upside down when Ivy steps into his life to be his social media manager on their cross-country tour.
Broken-hearted Ivy thinks that this social media gig would be the perfect escape plan from her hellish life back in London. Could it be possible that a gloomy lead singer is the one who heals her?
Euclid is a well-written book that addresses numerous dark issues with a respectful and positive mindset. Even through the darkness and the pain, the author proves that love will always find a way, and it heals even the deepest wounds. I've also appreciated the playlist at the beginning of the book, which helped me set an ambiance for each scene. It's spicyyy, and I really loved the bass-solo scene (if you know you know...)
The reason I'm not giving this book five stars is that I've felt at times that their romance was rushed and some feelings not so earned as I'd wanted them to be.
Thank you to BookBuzz PR and to the author for this ARC. This is my honest review.
This book follows Ivy who goes on tour with Cyn, a metal band as a PR assistant. The bands frontman, Ren, is a grump with a dark and mysterious past. But Ivy also has her own skeletons in her closet. As the tour continues and Ivy has to be around Ren for promo, the two start to grow closer and closer. But secrets have a way of coming out whether we want them to or not.
To say this book sucked me in from the beginning would be an understatement. The cast of characters was well developed, if not a little annoying (in a way that fits within the story) and absolutely reminded me of some of the interactions I have with my own friends. The slow burn tension in this book was delicsious and when the spark finally was lit...wow.
That being said, I did find the ending a little predictable BUT I still thoroughly enjoyed the journey there. Fans of rockstar/celebrity romances and romantic suspense, I cannot recommend this one enough!
Euclid by Deena Hendricks (ARC review) 🎶 SCREAMING. CRYING. THROWING UP. this book was absolutely everything Dark rockstar romance ✅ Moody MMC Lovable MFC The yearning, the tension, the SPICE, secrets between both main characters. I ATE it up.
Ren Sada is a hot, broody bad boy who holds people at a distance, a control freak and full of secrets of his past. Ashamed and afraid, protecting everyone around him.
Ivy, who worked for a high corporate company, blindsided during her relationship with her boss, heart broken due to lies and deceit took up an offer of a job working on the social media team with her best friend. The band in question is the latest and hottest band in the USA - Cyn where she meets the one and only Ren Sada.
🔥 Rockstar romance 🔥 Dark romance 🔥 Forbidden romance 🔥 Grumpy x sunshine 🔥 Slow burn 🔥 Found family 🔥 Forbidden romance 🔥 Force proximity
I am excited for everyone else to read and fall in love with this band of misfits like I did. Deena, you know how to write a brooding bad boys that I would melt for and request to call me ma'am 🫠
Elucid by Deena Hendricks is a beautifully written and immersive paranormal tale that pulls you in from the very first chapter. Hendricks has a gift for atmosphere—every scene feels vivid and alive, from haunting dreamscapes to tense confrontations that keep the pages turning.
The characters are the story’s strongest point. They’re complex, flawed, and easy to connect with, especially the protagonist, whose emotional journey adds depth to the supernatural stakes. The slow-burn unraveling of secrets is satisfying and keeps the suspense building at a steady pace.
While there are a few moments where the plot lingers a bit longer than necessary, the payoff is absolutely worth it. Hendricks delivers a compelling blend of mystery, magic, and romance that feels both fresh and familiar in all the right ways.
Overall, Elucid is a captivating read—perfect for fans of character-driven paranormal fiction who enjoy a touch of darkness wrapped in lyrical prose.

THE PLAYLIST?!?!?! Like, come on. You put all my favorite songs in one book and expect me not to fall in love instantly? Impossible.
This book consumed me. I thought I was diving into a dark rockstar romance, and sure, it was that, but it was also so much more. Music, trauma, healing, and a tension so thick you could feel it humming between every page. The chemistry between Ivy and Ren? Electric. The slow burn? Torture in the best way. The emotional depth? Stunning.
If you’re looking for a dark, emotional romance full of music, secrets, and yearning, this is the one. Also… amps. That’s all I’ll say. If you know, you know.
🎶Reading mood: emotionally wrecked, but in love with every note
I think this is my first actual rockstar romance, and if I'm being honest I automatically associated the title with the Sleep Token song and took the chance on reading it 😅, I'm glad I did! And the Sleep Token bit at the end..hilarious! I loved it! This was a slow burn for sure, I can't count how many times I wanted to punch our man Ren for fumbling his chance with Ivy but he gets there in the end people! This had angst, this has drama, this has build up, but it also has wholesome moments. Please check the triggers as this does talk about heavy themes (ie drug use, murder, extortion, etc.). If the triggers don't bother you, join Cyn on tour and read the book for yourself! 😉 Thank you @deena.hendricks for the privilage to be part of your ARC team!

Euclid by Deena Hendricks might be heavy on the angst, but the romance between Ren and Ivy is soft and sweet, yet really intense.
The characters are complicated, broken and honestly frustrating at times (stop running away from each other and just smoosh faces!), but that’s what makes it addictive.
What really surprised me about Euclid was the found family woven through all the chaos and trauma of the characters' pasts. There are these moments where broken people find each other and build something that actually feels like home.
Is it perfect? No. The pacing drags here and there, but honestly, the vibes and the emotional wreckage are what carry it.
Who doesn't love a book that gives you the two main characters trying to get away from their secrets and the BS going on in their life? Put them together, and you've got an amazing story. Ivy wants to get away from the drama that unfolded in her life, and what a perfect way to do that by heading out with the band. however, lead singer of Cyn Ren doesn't think this is a good idea because he's not in the mood to deal with any extras. he's got enough secrets for a lifetime. This book was a great dark romance, with a Mr. Grumpy for the main man. it was a prefect balance of wanting to put life struggles by the wayside, all the while finding a connection. being there for one another, and finding growth and healing in the end.
This book was everything I imagined it to be and more!! This book follows Ivy(FMC) and REN (MMC). Both are carrying heavy baggage and definitely not looking to get into anything serious while on this tour. The way they try to run from each other but are still drawn to each other. This story of how these two broken people are drawn together and work to break down each other’s walls and then build them back up. This is definitely a slow burn but the build up in the story draws you in so much more. This book will have you experiencing all of the emotions because it takes you on an unexpected rollercoaster ride.
Thank you so much to Deena and BookBuzzpr for the copy of this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own 💜💜
🎵rockstar romance 🎤found family 🎵forced proximity 🎤grumpy x sunshine 🎵slow burn
Wow, I was consumed by this book. I could not put it down! I went into this book thinking it was just a dark rockstar romance. I was totally wrong because this book was so much more than that. Yes, there was music and rockstars but, there were also mysteries and deep trauma. It was thrilling to read. I loved every minute of Ivy and Ren’s story. The slow burn and angst between these two, amazing. Definite must read!
Things break sometimes. People break. You need to let others hold pieces of you in place while the glue dries.
“In the darkness and the light. Breath by breath. Brick by brick.”
what can I say about this book, it has everything and I couldnt put it down! it has lust, love, lies and betrayal what more could you ask for?
The characters in this book were very real and relatable! the slow burn just made you love them more, I absolutely loved this book, the music the paylist the emotion was just incredible,
the author had a lot of different things happening for the characters keeping this book unpredictable and very interesting, with twists and turns you were not sure what would happen, im excited to see what she does next... I think we all need a badass musician like Ren Sada
This was easily one of my top reads of 2025. I had the best time following Cyn on tour and living out my Almost Famous dreams through Ivy. The way Deena puts words to Ivy’s love of live music and the experience of being behind the scenes of a tour makes it easy to visualize this book as a music junkie’s new favorite movie (but I’ll try not to get ahead of myself yet).
Euclid is above all a romance, and Deena is one hell of a romance writer. The chemistry between Ren and Ivy is just perfection, the spice is spicy, and I would be prepared to have Ren Sada possibly ruin men for you.
What you can expect: Anxiety rep Drama and suspense A found family of some very lovable characters Comedic relief and witty dialogue from said characters Shakespearean love proclamations An absolutely insane scene involving a guitar amp
Run, don’t walk. Euclid is available now on Kindle Unlimited!
Thank you to Book Buzz PR for the ARC, and thank you to Deena for the rockstar romance of my dreams.
ARC Review: For fans of angst, spice, and yearning, this dark romance hits all the right notes – especially if you’re into a tattooed rockstar with a troubled past.
I loved the pacing and the flow, as well as the evolution of the main characters as the story’s mysteries unfold.
The focus on chosen family and the magic of music really stood out, and knowing that this is the first in a series has me excited to see where this fictional band goes!
Trauma brings them together. Despite the theme leaning towards the heavy side, the author did well weaving thier stories together, cracking each other's wall and navigating thier way together, surrounded with beautiful found family, filled with hopes and emotions. It’s a story that aches in all the right places—and heals just as deeply. Grateful for the ARC opportunity.
absolutely LOVED this book Ivy and Ren are complex and come with there own trauma but when shit hits the fan she stands by him. it is a slow burn but you know what im here for it. its a rockstar romance
Rockstar !! This is a delicious read. Dark romance and hot and angsty. Written well and kept me flipping the pages as the story unfolded. This is my first read by this author and I will be on the lookout for more to come.
Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. I was drawn in from the beginning. I felt like I was a part of the story with all the characters. They had me laughing and screaming at the pages. All the characters were relatable and I loved unfolding all the story as it went along
I loved following Ivy and Ren’s slow burning love story. Every character in the book made me want to throw in my current, very good, life and go on tour with a rock band! Given Deena’s fabulous scripts she writes, I expected big things, I was not disappointed! I can’t wait to read all about Katie & Mikey in book 2!

Thank you to @bookbuzzpr and @deena.hendricks for this ARC of Euclid! If you’re into dark romance with a rockstar edge, emotional baggage, and just enough spice to keep you fanning yourself-this one’s for you.
Ren is your classic broody musician: ridiculously talented, covered in tattoos, and emotionally locked up tighter than a vault. Enter Ivy, a broken-hearted social media manager who signs on to handle his band’s tour. She’s looking for an escape from her mess of a life in London, but of course, she ends up walking straight into his chaos instead. Cue sparks, angst, and plenty of secrets.
What I really liked: the writing handles heavy themes in a thoughtful way, while still showing that love has the power to heal even the ugliest wounds. There’s also a playlist that totally set the mood for each scene, which I LOVED (the bass amp moment? Yeah... if you know, you know😏) And yes, it definitely brings the spice.
This was a solid dark romance with music, healing, and enough angst to keep me hooked🎸🎼🔥
This book wrecked me in the best way. Ren and Ivy are both carrying so much pain from their pasts, and watching them slowly open up to each other felt raw and real. Their connection isn’t pretty or easy—it’s messy, emotional, and full of those moments that hit you right in the chest. Hendrick did such a good job showing how trauma doesn’t just disappear, but how love can make it a little easier to breathe again.
