This was just alright.

Maybe it's because this was the final book in this series, and I have not read the others. Or maybe it's because though the world descriptions were inventive and interesting, I still wasn't moved by or impressed with this author's prose, when it comes to the actual MCs or their chemistry..

Put simply? It just wasn't hot to me.. So the 3 🌟 mainly comes from the fact that from a technical standpoint, this book was written well. It's also a very quick read, (59 pages). But all other aspects that makes a story great or un-put-downable, was just not here for me.

I personally wouldn't recommend this book for those who read for steamy escapism.

This was actually a pretty fun way to end the series.

I liked that there was a clear purpose behind the story with her trying to save her sister. It gave the plot enough direction to keep me interested, and I enjoyed seeing how everything eventually came together.

I especially liked the ending and the way the prophecy was finally fulfilled. It gave the series a satisfying conclusion and made the overall story feel a little more complete.

Looking back, this series was definitely a mixed experience for me, but somehow I still had a genuinely entertaining time reading it. Some books worked much better for me than others, but clearly there was something about these stories that kept me coming back until the very end.

The covers might be absolutely ridiculous, but I have to admit that the books themselves were surprisingly fun. I am actually considering checking out some of the author’s other books, which I definitely did not expect when I started this series.

I know there was only 59 pages, but for this being the last in the Covenant of the Hellbound Kings book I expected at least a little more story. At this point the you know what to expect, human falls in love with a demon and become mates because of a prophecy. sexy times ensue and a seal opens. I wanted more oomph with the prophecy finally being fulfilled but I felt a little shortchanged, I didn't even get a lot of spice 😭💔

This was my favorite installment of the series. The spice was plentiful and well done, and the romance hit the right notes. I liked how the story wrapped up with all the princes and brides joining forces to defeat the Tyrant, their father. Overall, it was an okay series—not amazing, but it delivered what I expected and provided a satisfying conclusion.

Loved this book, hate to see the series end. The prince’s finding their human mates was fun to read. I felt like i was in the realm with them.
