"Out here in the woods, no one ever has to know your secrets..."
After a bad breakup and too many questions he's never dared to answer, 22-year-old Dylan escapes Los Angeles for a solo retreat in the shadow of Mount Rainier. He's hoping for peace, clarity, maybe a good hike or two. What he doesn't expect is to get lost in the woods... and rescued by two very off-the-grid mountain men.
Reed is forty-something, bearded, and built like a walking tree trunk. Grant is in his thirties, wild-eyed, and just as brawny. Together, they live deep in the wilderness—rough, self-sufficient, and very clearly together.
When Dylan stumbles into their cabin, cold and shivering, the heat that rises has nothing to do with the fire. And when the men make it clear they like their visitors curious and pretty, Dylan finds himself questioning everything he thought he knew about who he is—and what he wants.
Before the weekend is over, Dylan's going to find himself... just not in the way he wrapped up in the arms of two rugged mountain men who crave him... and make him realize he wants them just as badly...
Dylan, who thinks he's straight, is lost in the woods of Washington State, near Mount Rainier. He stumbles upon a cabin where Reed and Grant, both loggers, live. They're a gay couple. They invite him in for dinner and note that they're both gay and open. Naturally, this leads to sex, and Dylan realizes he's just as gay as the two men who took him in.
I fell down a rabbit hole and I'm not sure how I got here. Read a bunch of these one after the other, some were surprisingly enjoyable while others were okay.
There is zero plot, if you're looking for plot, these are not it.
