But him. Atlas, the sexy strip club owner in a neighboring town.
There's this attraction between us, one we've been dancing around for years.
I want him, but because of my past, I've been hesitant to let anyone in.
I have secrets, ones that if the wrong people knew, I could lose everything I spent years building.
When one night gives me the opportunity to have the alpha of my dreams, finding out in some ways he's just like me.
The thing is, the enchanting new male omega dancer, Jude, just so happens to be his scent match.
Atlas says that it doesn't change how he feels about me.
That Jude and his alpha, Willow, want to get to know me too.
We could be a pack. Have everything I've been afraid to allow myself to have.
But what if they find out about my secrets and run?
Or, what if they just so happen to be the perfect pack for me.
I guess I'll just have to give this a chance, see where it goes, and pray I don't get my heart broken after opening it up for the first time in my life.
The thing is, sometimes the past doesn't always stay where it should. And I think mine just might try to come back to bite me in the ass.
Damn… this was easily the darkest and most violent book in the entire series! 🖤
We’re finally onto the last omega in the Beware of the Widows shared world and Briar’s story definitely doesn’t hold back.
Briar is an omega carrying an incredible amount of trauma, making it difficult for her to trust people or let anyone get close. Watching her slowly begin to heal and open herself up was beautiful.
The first person she connects with is Atlas, an alpha who is basically walking green flags. He was patient, protective, and exactly what Briar needed. Their relationship was incredibly sweet and I loved watching Briar slowly learn to trust someone again.
Then Willow, another alpha, and Jude, an omega, enter the picture, creating one unforgettable pack. These four complemented each other so well, each bringing something different to the relationship while sharing incredible chemistry.
Now… they might all be adorable together, but they’re also completely unhinged 😂
Let’s just say there’s a lot of murder in this book… but only directed at people they believe deserve it. They definitely have their own moral code. The violence is graphic and detailed, making this by far the darkest instalment in the series.
What I really loved was how different this book felt compared to the others. It still fit perfectly within the shared world, but Briar’s story carved out its own identity and gave us something fresh while still delivering everything I love about this series.
A very, very dark Omegaverse romance that I very much enjoyed!
Briar was a perfect ending to the Beware the Widows series. Written by both Alisha and Jenn, this was full of spice, found family vibes, and all the delicious omegaverse yumminess. I loved watching this pack form, and the revenge served at the end was perfectly wicked. Couldn't put this one down!
I just knew that when two of my favorite omegaverse authors come together yet once again, I just knew this book was going to have me wanting more even when the book was over.
I just love Briar so much. When we get a glimpse of her past, I just wanted to hug her the whole time and it makes sense why she is the way she is.
I love how Atlas and her get together when he finds her over a dead body. That had me giggling because she was like “it’s not like what it looks like” and I was dying with laughter.
I just knew I had to read it because I’m a sucker for two omegas as well as two packs joining together.
When Atlas and Jude realize their scent matches, I just love how Briar hoped that Atlas didn’t want to get rid of her. Also, I loved when she did eventually get off her scent blockers and that whole scene had me so happy for her.
I loved Jude and Willow and gosh, Willow is the sweetest alpha ever. She’s neurodivergent and just feels like her brain isn’t all there but these three make her feel like she’s perfect the way she is.
When Jude and Briar are together, these two omegas are just up to no good.
This book has a bit of darkness to it but it’s so perfect. Certain characters get their vengeance and I was all over that. I loved the ending. I hope we do get to see these characters in the future because this was the perfect way to wrap up this series.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Oh my gosh, Briar is the last book in this series and it was completely unhinged in a good way🫠
Briar is one of the founding widows of Widow Peak and has been going to a town not far from them for the last two years…mainly because the owner of one of the businesses there, Atlas, has caught her attention🙌
Just as they start dating, a new dancer starts at the club Atlas owns and soon two becomes four…but they hold some diabolical secrets🤫 A great ending to the series and I look forward to more characters from this town in 2027. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review😍
We are going back to Widow’s Peak for Briar’s book and all I can say is buckle up! This book is dark and unhinged and I loved every minute of it - ok, well not every minute because yes there were moments of rage - but overall I loved this story.
I was excited to see a pack with two omegas. Briar, Atlas, Jude and Willow might seem a little unconventional at first, and it’s not immediately smooth sailing - no spoilers but I loved every minute how it ended!!!

A brilliant conclusion to the Beware of the Widows Series! I loved Briar's story as I loved all the others prior. Briar and Atlas have been circling each other for the last two years, and as Atlas had nothing but time on his hands and patience to wait for Briar to realise he wanted her....desperately! Briar felt the pull towards Atlas but had a lot of trust issues due to her past. She took scent blockers because of her past and could not tell if Atlas was her "the one" or not. Both Atlas and Briar find themselves at the back of The Rusty Pipe club, where Briar finds relief in her secret past time where she goes in for the kill on a man trying to force himself on Lacy, one of the clubs dancers. She carries the secret of ending scumbags lives for a living, as it helps ease some of the pent up feelings she endures. Atlas watches her end the mans life, as she stuffs his mouth with his p3nis! He's definitely more hot for her now, than he was, and he shows her the only way an Alpha can show his Omega! Hot s3x coupled with his knot in the back alley!! Yep Hot as f3ck!! As The Rusty Pipes owner, Atlas meets all new dancers. He just watched Jude in the cage and needed to meet him. He felt the pull and when the Omega dancer enters his office, he knows he is his scent match. All reason leaves as both Omega and Alpha follow their desires and destiny....by coupling right there in the office. But where does that leave Briar? She sees Jude enter Atlas's office and hears what goes on.....she is not a scent match to Atlas, so does that mean he will no longer want her? Past insecurities surface as she feels she is being left behind again....and once again giving over her heart to someone to break. Atlas has no desire to leave Briar, and so guilt replaces the lust that he felt whilst with Jude. He needs Briar like his next breath but did not counter on finding a scent match so soon after starting a relationship with Briar. Jude, also has his own Alpha, Willow, his other scent match! Now he needs to go and explain to her that he has met Atlas. A great beginning to this story, and of course the backstory of how the Widows began their journey and built Widows Peak from nothing. Briar and Atlas find even ground, with him insisting that she is still his and he is hers, with Jude if he will have them both....depending on Willow's reaction to Jude's second scent match. As Atlas and Briar arrange and soon meet Jude and Willow, it is soon obvious that Willow and Atlas are also scent matches. More insecurities for Briar as she sits on the outside of the circle wondering where she will fit into their lives. Both Jude and Willow feel the pull towards Briar, but due to her scent blockers they are unable to determine if she is also their scent match . She is made feel welcome and loved up as the four get to know one another. It is a beautiful love story as Jude, Willow and Atlas make sure that Briar is feeling their love for her with or without a scent match. But both couples are keeping secrets from the other, and when 2 unknown Alphas head into Widows Peak and start to cause trouble, Briar and Atlas decide to get rid of them....not realising that Jude and Willow have the same idea! Great minds and all that....LOL as their secrets are revealed when both parties are taking their victims to bury them..... Loved the banter between Jude and Willow (who has ADHD) and needs a lot of attention at times and having her fix with a kill help keep her busy mind resting a little! As with all good love stories this has a great HEA, my only negative is that it ended too abruptly for me....LOL I needed an extended epilogue, to find out about,.....well, you know why @AlishaWilliams!!
Briar brings us the last story from the founding ladies. It's finally time for her to find and accept her pack.
I think Briar actually has the least traumatic backstory of all the ladies. She presented just hours after her birthday and being an Omega was terrifying for her. She was quick to act and faster to react. She definitely didn't get away free and clear but she also unalived her first scent match before he could ruin her. Then she got picked up and ended up with the girls.
Her trauma response became unaliving those who tried to take advantage. She is fierce but afraid to let anyone close to her. Though Atlas wears her down over the years and him being an unaliver too kicks that relationship into what it was meant to be.
I really loved how understanding Atlas was. He was willing to accept whatever rules Briar needed to feel safe.
Jude is this fiesty Omega who used to be a ballet dancer before he was injured. Now he is going to work at the strip club owned by Atlas but his first night ends in an unexpected scent match.
Willow and Jude were already a cute couple. They were quick to want to meld these two couples into a foursome. This pack is made up of 2 Alphas and 2 Omegas - male and female of each.
These four connected quickly but an accidental meeting on the mountain really cemented them as meant to be.
You get two heats in this story. One for each Omega. I do not typically read stories with FF but this one was easy enough to skip over those scenes or have them in a mixed situation which made it easier to read.
I absolutely loved 4 out the 6 girls. I love this town and what it offers for Omegas needing a safe place. With the support of these ladies packs it is definitely one of the safest places possible. I can't wait to see what else comes out of Widows Peak.
Hey there, this is the conclusion to Beware of the Widows series—at least the first batch—and my gosh they went out with a bang! It is so good! This book is about the sixth widow, Briar—she is so incredibly strong—and her pack of unhinged and hilarious alphas and omega. This is one you do not want to miss! Make sure to check your triggers and take care of yourself, you matter!
Ever read a darker book with so much lightheartedness that it just fills you with unhinged joy? This was that for me. It was such a fun read! And I’m highly looking forward to reading more from this universe! Once again Alisha and Jenn proves how good of a duo they are! The characters in this book are just so vibrant, and so adult/mature in every situation they get thrown into, can we please normalise this? Instead of the character throwing a tantrum can they just look at it logically? Why don’t we have more of that?
If anyone was wondering, Willow is my favorite character in this universe, hands down! While they’re all loyal, supportive and unhinged, she just has that little extra, ya know? And yes, for me, she tops the ones from the other books too!
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, unhinged read. Like the others in this series, it’s a standalone but is best read in order for the most amount of context and to catch all the Easter eggs.
These authors had me with this one. How can something so murdery be so cute?! I guess the pack that slays together, stays together. Briar’s story gave me all the warm fuzzies, and that’s not even including the inappropriate use of fireworks.
Briar is the last installment of a shared universe series by an all star list of authors. While this could be a standalone, I highly recommend reading the others first, or at least Silva beforehand. There are references to people and events in this book that aren’t fully explained because they all happen in previous books. It won’t be a hardship, all the books are fantastic.
While Briar was cute and cuddly and made me kick my feet like a lunatic, this is still a DARK book. There is on page SA, murder, abuse, torture, and mayhem. Some of those done to the MCs, some of those done BY the MCs (only the murder, torture, and mayhem of course). Please check the wonderfully detailed and very non-decorative trigger warnings before reading. Seriously. This is a fun read, but no trauma punches were pulled by these authors.
AAOO with M/M, FF, MF and all of the delicious group polyamorous goodness with a healthy dose of loving neurodivergent rep.
If you love slick, heats, knots, and the bad guys getting appendages removed from their bodies, this one is for you!

ARC REVIEW
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 Star Review 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 5/5 Spiciness Level
MY THOUGHTS: What an amazing finale to this wild & fun series! I am so excited more stories will be written in this omegaverse world they’ve created!
This book followed the same structure as the previous ones. However, there is FF in this one! If i remember correctly, there are two omegas: M & F, then 2 alphas: MF. I have no idea how to correctly arrange the letters to show it. MFFM? MMFF?
There is a super fun twist to this story and i don’t want to spoil it in case you go in blind, but I will just say the 2 run across the other 2 unexpectedly in a compromising position that completely changes their relationship dynamics as a group! So fun to read! Of course there are some heavy parts when we learn of the tortured pasts and traumas of the omegas. Overall a fun read!

Oh man this is a very last book of the beware the widows series and this one is by two of some of the best dark romance authors you have Jen Bullard and Alicia Williams and this is the last tale of one of the founders of the city.
We start off with Briar she is one of the survivors and we don't really hear about a lot of her throughout the book just in the last couple and she is seeing Alice who is a business owner down in the city around widow's peak and they kind of have the two or three year you know flirt but they never got serious of course the minute they do get serious what happens Atlas meets his soulmate and that is Jude and Jude has his very own girl and that's Willow now it turns out that the four of them make a heck of a group together but Secrets which is what they're all afraid of is something they each carry so now they have to kind of dance around and figure out we'll do Secrets be a problem.
Like normal of these are authors did not disappoint their spice there is heat there is a lot of getting together and even a couple fun games of you know strip Go Fish who would have thought I am so glad I got to read this whole series and I'm very sad that it's ending but it is a way to end the book series
Briar is the last book in this shared world and it was absolutely fantastic!
Briar is the perfect combination of Jenn and Alisha's dark and twisted minds. We get a little bit of sweet but we also get dark and unhinged bloody omega. And if you are familiar with their books and how they write their FMCs, then you know.
Briar has been crushing on this super hot Alpha named Atlas who owns a club in a nearby town. Like everybody knows. Because seriously you gonna drive to another town for a drink? When your fellow omega bestie owns a club of her own in a town you founded? Like, girl. You ain't fooling no one. I absolutely love how they first get together though. It can only be a scene made up of Alisha/Jenn. This is the perfect mix of sweetness and darkness. This pack is amazing. Loved Willow who is not the stereotypical Alpha but I loved her and her personality fits in well to be a different sort of Alpha than Atlas.
I absolutely love this entire shared world. Absolutely loved all the characters. I cannot get enough. Now, I hear there's more in this world and I legit cannot wait!!
This installment completes this series of standalones that takes place in the same shared world. It contains dark themes and a review of CW/TW is suggested before diving in!
Briar and Atlas have danced around their feelings for years, both too afraid to risk their friendship. Jude and his alpha, Willow protect each other fiercely and when they meet Atlas and Briar, their dreams of growing their pack may just come true. All have suffered traumä and loss and tread carefully. And neither couple knows the dark truths they each keep buried.
I loved seeing this pack slowly build trust and support each other in all facets. Each member makes Briar feel so seen and complete. As her spirit and heart begins to heal, will their dark urges and late night activities break them or bring them closer? This pack proves that couples that slay together, stay together.
Jenn Bullard and Alisha Williams co-writes never fail to bring it all to the table!
Briar is book 6 of Beware of the Widows. The book touches on other characters from the prior books, but you can read this book as a standalone.
Briar is a dark omegaverse. Even if you like dark, check the content warnings! There are a number of topics that come up. Some are on page and some are just discussed. The omegas in this book are forged by their trauma.
The pack that comes together supports each other without judgement, they are all amazingly unhinged! I'm mean, every pack should have a hobby they enjoy together, right?!
In Briar, everyone in the pack is with everyone. The way the pack gets together, the communication, the way they are possessive and protective of each other with no jealousy between any of them, it all just works. I really loved the dates when they were getting to know each other! I usually get to the end of a book and have at least one of the main characters has a slight edge on being my favorite, not this time!
Briar by Jenn Bullard and Alisha Williams book 6 in Beware the Widows series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶🌶💀💀💀💀 Briar brings a closure to Widows Peak. All the brave omegas found their happily ever afters. Briar romance might of started slow with Atlas. Pure green flag energy. But when Jude 'pas marché' on to the scene all caution is lost to the scentmatch dynamic and finding home in each other. Like they say those who slay together stay together. Perfectly matched up Alphas omegas. Tropes: Chosen family. Scentmatches. FF. MM. Polycule. Dark Omegaverse. Serial unalivers. Quotes: "Lead the way, Hummingbird. I’m all yours.” Cocking my head to the side, I lock eyes on him. “Mind if I ask, why Hummingbird?” His lips curl into a smile that has my stomach fluttering. “Because they’re beautiful, just like you,” he teases, but his tone goes softer for his next words. “And the way your mind works reminds me of how they move, quick, all over the place, never in one spot for too long but always a beautiful sight. It’s what makes them unique.”
Briar is a survivor, with a very logical but unconventional hobby. When she meets Atlas, a long standing will they/won’t they friend and it kicks off a chain of events that ends with Briar being packed up.
I have really enjoyed the Beware of the Widows series, and it was so interesting & heartbreaking to find out why led Briar to Gideon, then to Widow’s Peak.
This was my first female alpha experience and if I’m honestly there’s no way it will be my last. Willow was the perfect mix of sensual and quirky, and my heart broke every time she addressed the mental health issues she deals with. I also deal with the same issue and her packs unconditional acceptance and love were absolutely wonderful to read.
The relationships between Briar, her alphas and her omega was the perfect mix of unhinged, sweet & spicy. I haven’t read many OV’s with 2 omegas but Jude & Briar were a perfect set of omegas, there for each other & helping support her alphas.
Turns out Briar’s favorite past time is one she shares with her pack. 😏
Briar is the sixth book in the Beware of the Widows series and is written by Alisha Williams and Jenn Bullard.
💜 past hurts 💜 new loves 💜 scent matches 💜 dangerous hobbies 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spicy spice
Briar wasn’t always known as Briar. Her name used to be Ava, but life was not good to her when she was younger. So, she decided to go by a different name. Now she has the town with the other Widows. She also likes to drive to the next town over to watch the dancers and flirt with Atlas, the handsome Alpha owner of the club. With her troubled past, is there a way for her to move forward? Could she develop a relationship with Atlas? What would that life look like?
This was a fun way to end the series. I have enjoyed each one of the books. This book was no different for me. The character building as well as world building was on point. It was nice to see the other characters from previous books pop up as well. I never really knew what was going to happen next. I enjoyed this series and this book.

Atlas, Briar, Jude, and Willow have a great sizzling connection. They fit together so well. They are all protective, sweet, unhinged, and completely devoted to each other.
The way all four care for one another without jealousy, and without judgment makes their pack feel genuinely solid and supportive.
Their story blends sweetness with darkness in the best way. It’s emotional, funny, chaotic, and absolutely unhinged in true Jenn Bullard and Alisha Williams fashion. The shared world has been such a wild ride, and Briar was a fantastic finale. I’m sad to see the series end, but I’m already excited for whatever these two create next!!
Great read!! This was sweet and spicy, emotional and funny and of course dark and unhinged!! I love when these two authors get together ❤️ I know their story is going to well written and super hard to put down.
I would consider this a really sweet book IF you skipped over the unhinged chapters…. But where’s the fun in that? 😏
This has 2 omegas and 2 alphas…..a male and female alpha and a male and female omega!!!!
Both couples have a huge secret they are worried about the other couple finding out…..😂😂 they definitely had nothing to worry about. I absolutely loved everyone in this pack!

You will definitely want to check out the TWs for this one.
I’ve read every book in this series and every single one of them have been out-freaking-standing! Briar was the cherry on top! The last of the widows to find their pack. And the wait was worth it!! Jenn Bullard and Alisha Williams did the last widow all of the justice she deserved!! I LOVED her story!!
Briar was scared just like all of the other widows, and she had every reason to be! He past, just like the other’s, had been full of bad news! But Atlas was a breath of fresh air for her. Then she met Jude and Willow and the rest of the pieces fell into place! Atlas, Willow and Jude were absolutely perfect for her! They shared all the same interests! LOL!!
This book just like the rest of the widow’s stories was amazing! I’m sad the series is complete, but I ADORED reading every single story! If you haven’t read this book, you 100% need to! As a matter of fact, do yourself a favor and read the whole series!!
One of my favorite things about Briar's story was the reminder that everyone deserves love—even when they believe their "quirks" make them unlovable. Briar has spent so much time believing that true love might not be in the cards for her, which made watching her find her people all the more satisfying. As always, the Widows series continues to emphasize found family, acceptance, and healing. Briar's journey shows that the right person—or people—will love you not despite your quirks, but because of them.
I will say that Briar and her pack got a little overenthusiastic with their passion project at times, but honestly, that just added to the charm and chaos of the story. With plenty of heart, spice, and the found family vibes that have made this series so special, Briar was a wonderful addition to the Widows universe. I really hope to see more books come out of this amazing collaboration.
O.M.F.G. This spectacular series couldn't have ended in a better way.
A little dark... okay, maybe very dark, but such a great "why choose" romance. A real page-turner with some delicious twists.
I absolutely loved it.
It's an omegaverse packed with steamy moments and the strong emotional bonds that make the relationships so compelling. We have FF and MM dynamics.
Throughout this series, the FMCs are tough, resilient survivors, and they're all amazing. Some, however, are even more badass than others—and Briar is definitely one of them. All the MCs are.
A story about overcoming traumatic pasts, learning to give happiness a chance, and discovering how the right people can make you feel safe, accepted, and truly loved.
And it all ends with a wonderful HEA—the kind of ending "Life will only get better from here."
This was about Briar. Previously Ava. She was living with her mom and her pack. They were her stepdads there were 3 of them and one had a son. She wasn’t a good mom but provided her with a roof over her head but that was about it. She was planning on leaving on her 18th birthday. Well the night before her designation came through. She was leaving so she had everything ready. She grabbed her backpack and snuck out. She didn’t get far before she was caught by the Alphas son. He wanted her from the beginning but she didn’t want him. He chased her down and hurt her but she was able to get away. She met the other girls and formed the town. The next town over was where Atlas lived and she really liked him but she was scared rightfully so. One night that all changed. I loved everything about this book.
Briar is our last of the widows and has an even darker history that shaped her into the beautiful, dark and protective woman she is. I loved watching her slowly begin to heal and open herself up to love.
Atlas is the owner of The Rusty Pipe; a strip club that’s in the next town over from Widows Peak. Atlas is extremely protective and is just the alpha Briar needs in her life.
Then enters Jude, another omega, who was a ballerina who was injured and is now a dancer at Atlas’s club. Willow is Jude’s neurodivergent alpha who protected Jude when he needed it the most and goes a little stabby to protect her omega.
There’s a lot of violence that is only directed to people who deserve it. There’s banter between the characters and is so spicy! This book is completely unhinged, and I loved every bit of it!
Trigger warning things are dark this pack gets down, dirty and violent. Briar’s early life before she became Briar is not pretty. Fast forward her and Atlas have danced around each other for a while now taking things slow but not still get steamy. In comes his scent match Jude and his other Alpha Willow.
That had Briar wondering where she fits in but the three scent matches assuring her they want her. However, Briar and Atlas share a secret and Willow and Jude share a secret. Again trigger warning the secrets each couple share involves their extra curriculum activities involving getting rid of bad people.
Interesting twists to the last book in this series and the nice blend of the pack not to mention real steamy.
Read if you like: Omegaverse Why Choose Omega x2 Scent Matches MM & FF
I’m obsessed with Briar’s whole pack her included! She’s might take a bit to warm up but she’s hiding a lot more than you’d think. Even with her reservations she decides to take a leap of faith.
Atlas is HOT HOT HOT! With everyone in the pack. He knows exactly what the other person needs and will do anything to make his pack happy.
Willow and Jude were perfect for Briar and Atlas. Honestly their whole pack is a bunch of mushy love bugs who protect those they love.
Make sure to read the trigger warnings but for me this was pretty light and not too dark. And I laughed a lot reading it.
I can’t wait to come back to widows peak next year!!
I’ve loved this shared universe about kick ass omegas and the packs that love them. Look, it is dark. Like very, very dark. However, the amazing thing is, dark justice runs swift, lethally and is very satisfying to read. As a person who may never see justice, reading it is wonderful. Well written, lots of crossovers to the other books, yeah, I’m sad to read the last, at least for this year. This is LGBT+ inclusive, if that is a problem, I’m sure there is a cuddley omegaverse out there for you. This is not the book or series for you. I love this dream duo of authors, their books are well written, characters extremely well crafted and loads of fun twists and turns. Enjoy!
Briar is the last book in the Beware Of The Widows shared world and definitely the darkest with alot of heat and spicepacked.
If you are lover of omegaverse this has all the tropes: heats, scent mates and nesting, protective mates, multiplied by two as this story features two couples who join together so that's double the trouble from two fiesty omegas with a love of sharp and pointy weapons to two Alphas who will do anything to make their Omegas happy.
This story features unhinged utterly devoted to one another characters so please be advised to read those trigger warnings ⚠️

Okay, Briar did not disappoint. I absolutely loved it. Briar went through something harsh. Now, we meet Atlas who is taken with Briar as she is with him. To come and find Out they both, are serial unlivers. Fast forward and bow we are meeting Jude, who goes in for a job at Atlas work. Hold and behold, Jude and Atlas Scent matched. Jude is already mated fo his Alpha Willow.
What a way to round out this amazing series!!! When Briar designated as an omega, she knew she needed to get away from her mom, stepdads, and stepbrother. Fast! She wasn’t quite fast enough, but she made them pay! Since then, she’s been really, really careful about her feelings and her body with other people. She finally lets herself acknowledge the attraction she has for Atlas, and they decide to date and see what happens. Neither was expecting Atlas’s scent match to show up with another alpha in tow. Luckily, there’s attraction and no jealousy between the four of them. They all have secrets but discover how much in common they truly have. Spicy and dark and fun! Loved it!!!
