You’re thrilled to be a new mom, but do you know what to expect when you bring your baby home? The Everything Mother’s First Year Book is the invaluable resource you need to prepare for this life-changing event. From when to go on maternity leave and how to choose a pediatrician to when--or if--to go back to work (and how to survive without sleep), this all-in-one guide helps you step into your role as mom as seamlessly as possible.
There was some fine basic information here, but it wavered in between the tone of a “girlfriend’s guide” and a book purely based on information. Little things like the advice to just “not look at your postpartum body in a full-length mirror” as a way to regain self esteem were beyond cringeworthy. PASS.
This is one of the most educational books I have read. Sticks to the facts and I received a lot of wisdom from it. I’ll definitely be recommending it as a book for new moms. Good for dads too!
