It’s cold. That’s the first thing I notice. The ground under my body is hard and cold,
unforgiving. It’s still dark, but there are shapes, fuzzy at the edges. It’s like I’m looking through
something. With shock I realise I’m blindfolded.
My head’s still spinning as I try and lift myself up. It’s difficult. My hands are bound behind
my back, the twine cutting into my skin.
Dread fills out my frame as I realise my clothes are gone. I’m only in my panties and bra. I
can feel the cool creeping across the floor through the lace at my crotch. I start to shake, fearful
to call out, to do anything.
Instead, I listen.
There’s an air of oppression about this space. Without extraneous noise it’s like a catacomb.
The only sign of life is the constant breathing of ducting or an air-conditioning system above.
There’s a sharp, metallic clang in the distance and I flinch, trying to stem the shaking that’s
started to weave its way through my entire body.
What the hell have you gotten yourself into, Suzie.
Dave would never go this far. Never.
There’s the telltale sound of a bolt sliding away and a door at my back croaks open. It closes,
the lock once more applied.
Heavy footsteps sound, leather on concrete.
“Who’s there?” My voice is weak, my head and heart pounding. My skin is goose-flesh.
No response.
Suddenly I’m hoisted to my feet by the bindings around my wrists. My shoulder joints cry out
in pain as I stumble for balance.
There’s breathing against the back of my neck, the presence of an alpha male.
