Illustrated Computer Dictionary for Dummies

Rate this book
PCs are leaving the stores and landing on desktops faster than ever. Unfortunately, while PC technology has improved, the reference material included with most new PCs has not. Now you can throw away that jargon-filled owner's manual and replace it with Illustrated Computer Dictionary For Dummies, 4thEdition . Acclaimed computing authors Dan and Sandra Gookin take readers by the hand and lead them on a journey through their new toy (uh, I mean tool). Illustrated Computer Dictionary For Dummies, 4th Edition covers all the terms new (and old) users want to know about in a humorous and typical Gookin and For Dummies style.

A great reference in addition to your library

This book is exactly what the title implies. If you find yourself having little difficulty describing a computer term, then you can turn to this reference. Everything is in alphabetical order and comes with simple illustrations. Before the alphabet, there are medical characters any of these are described.

Due to the accelerating advances in technology many terms are not in this edition.
