Wesley and Keira are a different kind of newlywed couple. They don't have sex, don't even touch each other, and haven't kissed since Wesley was paralyzed the night before their wedding.
But they still want each other.
During sexy late night's in bed, Wes slowly begins to touch Keira again, reawakening her desire and his own need to rediscover every inch of her before he loses everything.
This is a short story and is part 1 of 3 in the Newlywed Series. See the end of the book for details on voting for which book will end up becoming a full-length novel.

This is a 30/45 minute read but for a person with a fairly recent spinal cord injury it had the feels in it.
The retelling of the accident snuck up on me.
“He never walked away”
I never said that but I have said I never went home. I’m not sure if this is based on a true story but for sure the author relates or did her homework. The darkness that took ahold of Wes and Keira just wanting to be there is written perfectly. A lot of the emotions we, SCI survivors, go through with our loved ones. I wish the author wrote more.
