Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.
A good volume, action-packed and interesting, with some seriously cool art depicting the progressive subsumption of Naruto by Kurama and the destructive rampage the latter can so easily slip into that it seems like a second nature to him. Love it! :D. Also, Naruto's realization of his own (or rather not his own) destructive power, while a bit contrived (why is it Yamato and not Jiraya who's telling him this?) was powerful nonetheless.
Orochimaru is the kind of villain all love to hate, and his powers are quite colorful and admirably repulsive - good job, Kishimoto! Because of the introduction of the Akatsuki, there's at least more depth to him now, which makes for a far more enjoyable plot.
and he throws himself up..and throws himself up.... and throws himself up... embarrassing😂😍 seriously though its just getting better and better.. a bit predictable.. but still some real fun
This was probably the most intense and emotionally charged battle so far! Naruto struggled to control the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra and went toe to toe with Orochimaru! Can’t wait to continue because I’m almost halfway through the series so there is a LOT more to come.
The only thing I can say from this volume is, Orochimaru is not only creepy but is also a beast.. The guy is really weird.. Is he made of snakes only or what?
Okay, this volume kicks ass. This is the kind of over the top battle that I live and breathe for when reading this series.
This is Naruto versus Orochimaru. It is almost a one-sided battle, but it probably isn't the side you thought. Orochimaru is beast, but Naruto was freaking kicking his ass. Yes, of course, it was Naruto relying heavily on his demon fox, and he was killing himself while doing it, and unconscious of his actions as well, but his speed and destructive power was pretty damn amazing.
This is another one where I preferred the anime version. I love to see every twist and turn.
Still, I loved it even in manga form. It gave me chills. What a battle.
3 stars *may change kishimoto gay as hell for writing sai lmao... also sai made me realize i really only care about team seven + garaa mostly everyone else is really irritating and annoys me... ALSO Orochimaru has some crazy plot armor to still be alive like it doesn't make any sense... kishimoto just couldn't come up with a good villain i guess because this dude should have died long ago
Naruto vs Orochimaru is such an amazing fight. Pure adrenaline. This volume is awesome stuff from start to finish.
P.S. Naruto goes into tailed beast mode just because Orochimaru was talking like he 'owned' Sasuke. Keep in mind that Naruto did not get this emotional when Gaara was literally dead. He does not get this emotional (SPOILER) when Jiraiya dies, either. The only other time we see him consumed by his emotions like this is when (SPOILER AGAIN) Hinata is literally stabbed in front of his eyes. He gets this mad because Orochimaru is vaguely acting like owns Sasuke.
They're gay, ladies and gentlemen. I don't make the rules. It is truly impossible for it to be any more canon than it is. This is well beyond subtext.
Fad? So ohne Persönlichkeit?
As Naruto fell victim to his rage, Four tails emerged and blasted its surroundings to smithereens. Yamoto managed to control the power of Nine Tails in time. After learning that Sai is on a secret mission, Naruto, Sakura and Yamato regrouped to unravel Sai's real mission delegated by Danzo. Naruto went all villainy in this volume. The fight between monsters was a treat for the eyes!

I really think everyone is doing the absolute most with trying to be back Sasuke. Like I don’t get it. They really didn’t bond much as children. Why we so obsessed. I think we should move on
Naruto goes full berserk and unleashes his 4 tails form to fight mr. Michael Jackson. The fight is explosive with some great visuals, and it helps that we get some more background to the new leader of the group and a interesting direction for everyone else. A solid volume. A 3 out of 5.
With their new team formed, Naruto and co are on their way to chase after Orochimaru but he confronts them directly and they fight and its an epic battle but things get more interesting when we see the power of Kurama and Naruto transforming into the four tailed form and the destructive power it has, Orochi is making body after body but he is not able to defend against the power of Kurama. Its a sight to behold in a way, the most interesting part is when Jiraiya tells of what happened in that skipped time period and the destructive power of four tails and we learn the history of Yaato-san and even Sakura has a moment with Naruto. And we learn more of Sai and Denzou plan with Orochimaru, things are getting interesting, Naruto transformation is excellent, Orochi has deep plans and more groundwork for later arcs are already set here, we get even more amazing moments between Yamato and Naruto like of a teacher-student. Plus Akatsuki on the trail!

I literally read this volume in 20 minutes. This fight fucking rules! Orochimaru is epic. I don't care how gross or creepy he is, he is soooo fucking cool. The snakes and the fact that he can emerge out of his body over and over is just awesome. He is a scientific genius and the fact that Yamato is one of his creations is nothing short of awesome. The reunion is next and I can't wait! Awesome volume, epic fight, and 4 tailed Naruto! Loveeeee it.

While trying to capture Kabuto as part of their mission, Orochimaru shows up and puts a halt to those plans. Naruto loses control of himself and lets the nine tailed beast take over. This power he is emanating is far stronger and way more malevolent then before to the point that it is also killing Naruto slowly the more he uses it. Yamato is able to seal away the power before anyone else gets hurt, thanks to the power of the first Hokage. Lastly Sai's mission all along was to meet up with Orochimaru on Danzo's orders but the full extent of said mission is still a mystery to Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato.
