I was hesitant with this book at first but ended up really enjoying this book. The raven and ghostly captain are the highlights.

A Haunting Mystery With Light Touches
Meet Vylette West, she just moved back to the town she grew up in after a bad break up and is not sure what to do so she decides with the help of a woman looking to sell her haunted house, to open her own Real Estate business next to the competition. She just bought her own haunted house and now has the company of the Sea Captain who haunts her house and his friend who happens to be a talking Raven, if any of that sounds confusing and a bit funny then I suggest you buy this book and read about her adventures yourself. Trust me, you’re in for a fun read;)

I was hooked on meeting Edgar
I thoroughly enjoyed this quirky story and read it in one evening. After moving back to Driftwood Cove, Vylette West purchases Briggs Manor that has been empty for years due to its own resident ghost, Captain Briggs and his side kick, Edgar, the talking raven. Suffice to say Vylette was suitably shocked when she first met them. The well written narrative has lots of laugh out loud moments as Vylette aims to sell another house that also happens to be haunted by Harold who needs justice before he can move on. I look forward to reading the other books in the series and to see what mischief Captain Briggs and Edgar get up to!!

Ghost in the house
Vylette is back in Driftwood Cove . Although she grew up here there are things she didn't know about back then - such as haunted houses. Now she has one.

Best book I've read in along time. Already starting to save so I can get more of her books.

Ghost cozy

What a great read,
I love both parts the she is a realtor and doing haunted properties
Also how her life gets right side up after a bad relationship to a horrible man

I think this book is supposed to take place in Maine? So the choice of a non-American narrator was really jarring…

This was a sweet and fast read. I loved the talking ghosts. They made this quick, paranormal, cozy mystery so much fun.

The premise caught my attention because it’s reminiscent of The Ghost and Mrs Muir, but in a modern setting and a murder mystery woven in. An entertaining read.
