This book?? Dark. Heavy. Emotional.

Just when I thought this series couldn’t hurt me anymore…
DeathBound proved me WRONG.

This book??
Dark. Heavy. Emotional.

The kind where you sit there like
“yeah… nothing is ever going back to normal after this.”

The stakes are higher than ever, and you can feel it in every chapter. The magic isn’t just powerful anymore… it’s dangerous. Like actually life-or-death, no coming back type of dangerous.

And the characters??
They are STRUGGLING.

Richie is carrying so much, and you can feel the weight of every decision he makes.
Kasey is still strong, still THAT girl but even she’s being pushed to her limits.
Kayla?? The heart of everything… but even she can’t hold it all together this time.

And let me just say…
the emotional damage in this one?? UNREAL.

There were moments I had to pause because it hit that hard.

This book is an absolute emotional rollercoaster. One moment I’m crying, the next I’m laughing, and half the time I’m just sitting there wondering what the hell is happening. Every chapter throws you into a different emotional state, and somehow it all works perfectly together.

The story is pure emotional chaos in the best way possible — heartbreaking, hilarious, shocking, and completely unpredictable. It constantly messes with your head and keeps you emotionally invested from start to finish. I genuinely didn’t know what to feel while reading because the book takes you through every possible emotion at full speed.

It’s the kind of story that leaves you emotionally drained but unable to stop reading.

Destiny is Witch

Ya know.. this book was honestly my favorite. The twists and turns. And then the whole new introduction to a new villain was interesting. And a possibly new love interest for Richie. I’ll have to see how it plays out before I get on board. And that ending… ooff..

This series is one of the best things I've ever read.
People often compare their writing to other things - and it's iffy.
but this really is a lovely fresh, original story that has a subtle nod to Charmed and Buffy and Back to the Future...
I cannot recommend it highly enough.
But please, do start with book one <3
