Max has a new sensory deprivation hood for Cody, leaving him blind and deaf to the world. All the sexy twink has left is the demanding and insatiable touch of his master, trainer and alpha stud...
***
“Come here,” Max instructed, pointing to the space by his feet. Shuddering at the easy way Max dominated him, Cody sank to all fours and crawled across the room. He came to a stop by Max’s feet, eyes glued to the hunk’s big boot. He kept his eyes down, waiting for further instruction.
“Good boy,” Max praised, bending down and ruffling his hair. Cody breathed out a sigh of relief, Max’s tone not angry in the least. Then again, that happy lilt in his voice wasn't necessarily a good thing.

I've read many works from DJ Heart, but this is the one I keep coming back to 🔥🔥🔥 (yes, for real, this was not my first time reading this book. I just happened to read this when I still used to feel embarrassment with logging all my books on GR 🤣)
The Billionaire's Puppy is not a romance. Cody is not your sweet, fluffy puppy. Oh no, he's the most exquisite slut puppy, always eager to worship big muscular hunks and their packages. Expect to read total power exchange, humiliation, extreme anal stretching up to double penetration and fisting, forced diet and enema, and heavy references of drugs and human trafficking.
If any of the above elements discomfort you, RUN. Otherwise, welcome to the kinkiest sexiest filth you can experience in DJ Heart's backlog.
Very few books get a one star from me and I’m actually furious at myself for finishing this one. It’s fucked up in a bad way for me personally and it felt a bit too much like glorifying sex trafficking and sex slaves that I couldn’t get behind anything these psychos did to their victims. For some reason I thought things would turn out better for Cody by the end but nope he’s just broken and shocked that he’s getting allowed the privilege of a safe word after the hell he’s been put through under the guise that he signed a contract with no limits even though he had no idea what he was actually signed up for because he was 18 and desperate for money. Not to mention Rex never tells him that the three other sex slaves in the house are actually fully kidnapped and mid-broken victims that he can’t even pretend consented in anyway but doesn’t care because he finds the fucked things they do to Cody hot so that’s enough to disregard any moral compass. Gotta stop letting curiosity get the better of me man fuck I wish I could scrub this from my brain cells 🫠
This is a no-holds-barred, dub-con sex-fest. Poor Cody gets ridden hard and put away wet just about every minute of every day, by multiple men...his owner, his trainer, and a strapping stud puppy, and later on, some ponies. His poor butt is abused so thoroughly I'd be amazed if he ever went to the toilet naturally again.
In short instalments, as it was originally written, this would probably be fine for a bit of fun dub-con entertainment. But sitting down in one reading is hard going, because there's just sex, filthy, dirty, sex. And plugs. And fisting. And DP. And puppy play. And water sports. And...you get the idea.
Apparently there's the hint of a relationship toward the end but I'm not invested in the characters enough to keep going. Also there's editing issues everywhere.
If you are kinking on a bit of dub con and enjoy seeing a boy pushed beyond his limits this book is for you. It contains lots of pet and pony play (in costume much of the time), double teaming, watersports, fisting, etc. It's the compilation of a serial series and you should buy the whole thing together. Is it worth the $10. Hell yeah if this type of kink is your thing. Although Cody consents he doesn't really know what he's getting in for. There is a line here that really gets blurry quite often - but bottom line is Cody likes what is done to him after reflection though, at the time, not always so much. This worked for me on many levels. Great literature it is not. One handed material - heck yes. Deliciously lustfully and thoroughly debauched if you want to push limits and expand boundaries and read page after page of hot action this here's your book. Pure glee!
Oh my. Oh this was so up my alley. So close to being so perfect...an unflinchingly debaucherous tale of not just one, but multiple domineering bastards taking advantage of a helpless boy in over his head, over and over again, pushing all limits in fantastical fantasy scenarios with their depraved desires. A slow-burn (but eventful) account of a boy's "seduction" into indefinite submission...
The kinks in this book!!! Leathermen, sadism, slavery, dominance, and submission. There was a plethora and it was i n t e n s e The story focuses around the young submissive Cody. Now, listen. Before I go on. I’m someone who wants all the feelings and emotions and usually goes for a one-on-one relationship. Or, a triad is ok if they’re all involved with each other and in love with one another. This story tosses all my carefully constructed romantic “must haves” off a steep cliff and hands me a big fat cigar instead of my fake candy cigarettes. In a small way, this reminded me of Ann Rice’s Sleeping Beauty series - which I hated - it was just so soulless to me. This, was not. The series relegates the main players to a select few and there’s a semblance of feelings and emotions between Rex and Cody, and I even felt there was more than acknowledged with Brick, and also Max (no matter what that man claims *blows raspberry). There was just more…humanity, I guess I’d call it, to these characters. I rather highly enjoyed this book - did I mention the extreme kink?! - and do recommend if you have very few triggers and enjoy a houseful of big, horny, strapping men (and a Cody. Lol)
As the author's loud and clear introduction states, this is extreme BDSM directed by a Billionaire who is far from completely together, reinforced by a sadistic trainer, and all unleashed on a semi-suspecting and very dubiously to clearly non-consensual "pet."
Readers who have a taste of extreme puppy/pet play in an severe BDSM "makeover" mold in a basically non-consensual setting may find this to be an exhilarating series.
(I often have an issue with "BDSM" fiction because BDSM is basically a consensual activity for me, but many BDSM erotic stories are non-consensual. When I read warnings that say "people who don't like these BDSM kinks shouldn't read this" and I see kinks I practiced for years, I used to take those warnings as invitations. However, if those "BDSM" activities are presented as a "Dom" forcing/abusing/assaulting a sub without their interest or acceptance, it isn't BDSM to me. It's rape or non-consensual erotica - which to me is a different genre altogether, but not, apparently, to many readers and authors.
What I dislike the most are stories where the sub is forced and clearly unhappy and resistant and not enjoying the activities at most/all levels, but magically falls for the Dom pretty inexplicably. (E.g., without clear indication that despite their theoretical aversion to the activities, they really are enjoying them as the build - rather than suddenly realizing at the end that the thing they absolutely hated during turned out suddenly to be amazing. Or no hints of believable interest or connection from the sub, or concern or connection from the Dom, at points along the way. Some of this author's work has that, but quite a bit does not, and I find that the case in many other BDSM works. Or authors put a vaneer of BDSM safety on the activities and then proceed to have the Dom ignore them.)
In short, it comes across to me as rape/slave fic cloaked in BDSM activities. I had to learn that when authors of published erotic stories mention BDSM, they could just as easily be discussing non-consensual "Domination/submissive"(rape/slave) stories, or at least rather very abusive BDSM, and it's hard to suss-it-out most of the time. (The reviews can sometimes help.) Fortunately, this writer has become a bit more specific in his descriptions (and when the "BDSM" gets extra "brutal" and the dominating character clearly has zero concern for the sub (e.g. no-consent) he has become better at clearly marking these situations.
This author is excellent at writing hot erotic stories that include elements of BDSM play and very rough sex in non-consensual settings.)
I have no words. I don't know who I am anymore, I don't know what life is, I can't recognize Nick Offerman without a beard. I liked this and I don't know why. Heads up, this review isn't going to make any sense as I try to dissect what I read and why I was into it. I need to call my therapist.
The best way to explain this is that this is DJ Heart at his best and worst (but in a good way). This is a balls-to-the-wall (literally and figuratively) smut and kinkfest where just about anything, and I do mean anything, goes. You are either going to be really into it, and learn something about yourself, or really against it, there is no in between with this one. But the fact that this was written so unapologetically and with the knowledge that it's definitely not going to be for the majority of people kind of makes me like it. I think when Daniel goes dark and unhinged, he really shines. The writing was great, there was a story (kind of), and there was some levity in the madness. He doesn't pull any punches with what this one but somehow it works. God I need the sun to come back, this seasonal depression is making me say the wildest things.
Even though this is 80% smut and kink there is character development. There's also a relationship, at least in Rex's mind. I don't know if Cody is there by the end but as far as Rex is concerned they're in love. Take that to mean what you will but I guess by the end of a lot of things, Cody is into it. I don't know how or why but I don't need to as it is not my life. Thank God!
Apologies for being so vague. I kind of wish I could list the kinks since they're not listed anywhere but there are way too many and I feel like I'm already on some kind of list. Just know there's a lot and most of it would terrify a lot of kinky people. Especially Cody's diet. I have no idea why this is a thing with this man. This is like the third book I've read where it happens.
This it is far from a traditional romance. Just about everything Daniel writes is, but this one probably takes the cake. It's far from bad and there were parts that I genuinely liked that I will need to talk my therapist about. Again, this is a book for a very specific kind of person and if you're looking for something truly out there and want to see how far BDSM can go when there are no limits essentially. All joking aside, I did really like this and, honestly, I'd give it five stars if Max wasn't here as much as he was. I also wish we could have seen more levity between Rex and Cody but I understand that wasn't the point. Now if you excuse me, I have some phone calls to make.
Great 👍 Series, easiest read in 'The Complete Collection' format.
This is a great series. So much so that when I started reading it yesterday and realized that I'd already read it at least 1.5.Times before, I decided to continue reading it for the ~2.5 ish time. Rex and Cody are made for each other, and with the addition of the rest of Rex's kennel/stable, they wind up with a very interesting 'family'. To paraphrase a comment from another reviewer, this will definitely keep you on the Edge of your seat!
Also, if you enjoy this series, then check out the Honor/Obey series that quasi- follows this one. Or at least you will see 👀 Max, Brick, Diablo, and Spike doing what they do best along with a cameo or two from Rex and Cody. It's another hot and steamy series that will keep you not and bothered!
***** My Pet Peeve, and why I rated this 3 🌟 stars instead of five is due to the extremely poor proofreading &/or editing. Actually, ALL of DJ Heart's books 📚 that I have read so far, which is over half, have this same horrid recurring flaw. With the advent of spell check and grammar check, most of the errors could be avoided. Simple proofreading and the possible less duplication of character names between books, could eliminate using the Wrong Names that makes the reading of these stories so challenging. In the Author's defence I read a blog post where it's mentioned that the editing is one of the most common complaints, and that efforts are supposedly underway to revise and update some of the previous works. YEA TEAM!!
If you are after a D/s book which takes you past the usual limits and doesn't care too much about physical possibilities and that has one sex scene after another. This is the book for you. But if you find that the book also has to have been to an editor and doesn't involve practices that if done in real life would seriously disable a person then this is not the book for you.
It is unfortunate that the author many times seems to not know who is who and used the wrong names for people. Also unfortunate and somewhat dangerous that some practices described in the book as "he can take it" i.e. binding a person into a puppy suit of the kind that restricts blood flow considerably for a week, are in fact able to seriously endanger the health of a person and copletely disable them. Even in literary license, this is not something that should be promoted as "it's ok to do that." Especially to a person who wasn't given a safe word.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. It is an interesting, fun, sexy read. I did have a problem with the editing. There are quite a few incorrect words, wrong name, and a few other random errors. I had to stop a few times to figure out who was doing what to who since the same name was used for more than one person in error.
I love most of this authors books but this one just rubbed me the wrong way. It wasnt necessarily bad but it was extremely depraved and well the consept of dub con usually doesn't turn me off, quite the opposite actually, the book took it too far for me. Especially the use of the chastity cage, that was an instant turn off for me. Add to this that the names are constantly misused and you have to try and figure out who is doing what I just couldnt finish it.
A truly dirty book with about every imaginable taboo including sex slaves and non-consensual sex. Told from several different points of view, this is primarily a story about the journey of an experienced man to full submissive and a dominant and uncaring man to form a possessive and attached harem relationship. The initial relationship is forced due to financial reasons, but decides to stay feeling a normal relationship would no longer be satisfying.

Honestly it just felt like too little effort was put into this.
It got old and repetitive, and the spelling and name errors were absolutely atrocious and very frustrating. It just went on too long with almost the same things happening over and over.
Also, what happens with Cody's family and why isn't he allowed to contact them? Max is concerned about having to cover tracks because they'll be looking for him, but then nothing happens and it doesn't seem like they are?

What in the freaked up hell is this crap.. This is some serious abuse and non con and just awful. I’m seriously wounded just reading as far as I could hoping it would get better and only got worse! Cattle prods, pissing in food after starving basically, pulling by the hair, by the collar to choke him, etc. And just overall asshole men being predators. Yeah he came for the money but you’re still victimizing him. This is bs I’m out.
DNF at 30%, skimmed a little after. I’m not expecting a plot or perfect writing, but there are some serious errors, including using the wrong character names multiple times. Kink like this can be done right, but this story is extremely repetitive and way more non-con than dub-con. It may have been more bearable if it was shorter. The length does it no favors.
I love a good BDSM book; for me this was not it. And then couple that with the lack of an editor, I almost stopped at 3% there were so many errors. I don't care about the kink, none of that bothered me, what bothered me was the complete lack of story and conclusion. Mostly it felt like abuse just for the sake of abuse.
Y I K E S. This was very disturbing. Human trafficking glorified, and by glorified I do mean 'made to seem OK because the poor dude has been stockholmed hard' plus the other dudes keept in captivity that were truly human trafficked as in sold to crazy people from prison. This one should honestly be considered taboo.
Wow! I’m so glad to read Rex and Cody’s story. I was interested when I read Honor/Obey with David and Adam which featured Rex, Cody, Spike, Diablo, and Brick. It also mentions Max.
There are small spelling errors of the use of the wrong name, which I’ve noticed in a lot of the books, but overall I love the stories
How to sum up this book - dub-con / non-con / pwp (p*rn without plot). Well, I guess there is a plot…ish but it’s barely there. I enjoyed this book for what it was despite several issues including poor editing but I can understand why many people would not however it did feel kind of unfinished.
Not to my taste. Just weird.. It was well written. No complaint but just not for me. No romance just. Play. Wow..... No relationship. No romance. Rex is blind idiot....... Max is a gold digger.
Totally NOT for the faint of heart...but I did like it a lot :) It could use some editing for typos, etc but the bones of the story are good...not a romance but there is a kind of HEA. Looking forward to reading more from this author!
This could have been so much better if it had been edited and Max removed. There was no reason for him to be there. This story has every kind of humiliation kink one could ever need.
