Shiina won the 34th Hakusensha Athena rookie debut grand prize in 2009 for her work "Maria-kun of wonder." and is currently working on the series "The world is still beautiful"(in 2013).
What I love about this volume is the background given of Nike's family, her past, her struggles and her relationship with her grandmother. Her sisters were all lovely.
Wow, ga disangka ceritanya makin lama makin bagus aja.
Tapi tentu saja Ciel lbh cute. ;p
Anyway, ada bishounen baru yg muncul, pangeran padang pasir yg namanya Irada, mataku langsung jadi bentuk hati liat mukanya, hahaha. Habisnya bishounen lain muka lmyn oke tapi kok kepribadiannya parah semua, hahaha. :p
The final chapter of this volume is where the anime left off, and quite honestly, while there are nuances within the story that don't come across as well in the animated version, you could really start here if you're just looking for the continuation. This new Sand Kingdom arc looks much darker than what came before, especially since Nike and Livi now have more emotions at stake.
Start of the desert arc. I didn't know this at the time but this is the start of a long series of arcs where shegets kidnapped and tries to save the various villans who have fallen in love with her. It's not so bad yet in this one, I see the need for the conflict given the sand prince's people genuinely need the water she might provide. The visuals are perf ofc.
