This is a very quick read at 45 pages. I liked it for the fact that it has sensible information and advice. It starts with typical myths and presumptions - blaming fat for most ills while sugar is often the bigger culprit. It goes on to outline the link between high blood sugar/diabetes and high cholesterol and how they go together. Statins to lower cholesterol are beneficial mostly to those who have had a heart event, and others are better off making lifestyle and diet changes. There is a list of natural plant based foods and other herbal remedies listed.
