Ahh, I see. Tatsuki Fujimoto was so in love with Fami that he had to rethink her role in the series. Understandable. Btw, what do you think strongest devil hunter Kishibe is doing while the world is literally on fire? I mean, I hope he has a nice vacation or something, but where is he? (I need him.)
3.5 stars out of 5 Love love seeing more of my favs from part 2 of this series, but I could do without certain things. I am still a little confused what's going on if I'm being honest, this volume was very digestable but some stuff from the past still isn't clicking.
i think the aging devil arc was very cool and had some very interesting developments and ideas. in this volume i think denji was happy for like... half a chapter so happier than most chainsaw man volumes. the ideas chainsaw man brings up are so interesting and honestly most of the fans of manga dont know what fujimoto is trying to say. DENJI IS NOT A GOONER STOP CALLING HIM THAT
First of all, you could never make me hate Yoshida
Second, what the fuck was that shit? Is it my fault that I keep falling for Fujimoto's antics? Nothing is sacred in this series, so why in the world would I take his word when he says things? That might be a skill issue on my part tbh

I feel like the character relationships are spiraling these last couple of chapters and I don't know where the story is going to go at all... I have faith in Fujimoto but I am losing some interest.
Pretty solid volume. I wasn’t feeling the first two chapters but it got better. I’ll definitely just finish the series because there’s only supposed to be three more volumes. I still feel like part one was better developed but I do really like Asa/Yoru as a character(s?)
This volume gives an exciting end to the Aging Devil fight, and then it kind of meanders for a bit. The humor is still great, but I kind of realized Denji’s character growth has been almost nonexistent for this part.
They also revealed the big bad for the part, and my reaction was, “Oh, well who else was it going to be?”
I’ve heard the ending for Chainsaw Man as a whole isn’t that great, but I’m so far down the river that I might as well stay for the waterfall ahead.
Honestly, I think I’m just kind of bored of this story? It’s the same ultra violence, gratuitous innuendo, and bargain bin pseudo-philosophical takes on repeat. If this series is a bit, tatsuki fujimoto is COMMITTED.
