It's so cool having a really close friend. Somebody you can share secrets with, somebody you can trust. Like Dawn's best friend Perry. Breaking Dawn is a story about two friends Who had known each other since pre-school, breaks up because of jelousy. Dawn and Pery, female and male respectively have a crush on a boy name Brian. Brian ends UP made Pery feeling left out. Dawn spends more time with Brian than Perry. Weeks past, Perry is still not given attention and decides to kill himself.

I would recommend Breaking Dawn as it is a book that uses simple language but a story line is very exiting after finishing reading a chapter. Though, the language is simple, it teaches us to be move careful about hurting others. The book reflects about trust between two people.

Breaking Dawn shows and tells us how a boy who is gay has lo struggle life. He does not has a dad but a mum who constantly changes boyfriend. After years of being together and Sharing secrets The was betrayed. That caused too much stress making him lo kill himself.

Dawn Struggles lo save her relationships between her best friend and boyfriend. She tries her best to save both but ends up, worsening it. Finding out that her bestfriend is dead, she can only mend her problems with her boyfriend.

With this I can say that this book is perfect for spare time or when your bored. the book lets us feel how people struggles so much causing deaths to happen.

I really liked this book. It honestly was the first book I really did love a lot, a book I read from start to finish and didn't get tired of it at all.
This book was really about how two friends Dawn & Perry were really close friends all the way from pre-school. There was a big secret in between the two friends. There was a guy who the both male and female friend both liked. So, basically the secret was that Perry (male.) was gay. The secret leaked afterwards because Dawn started to spend more time with the boy they both really liked..& Perry got upset because Dawn spent more time with the guy rather than her own best friend since pre-school. Later on after the secret of Perry being gay leaked ..Perry got way too upset. Dawn tried to fix things but they kept getting out of hand. Perry ended up committing suicide ..because of all the horrible things being said and getting made fun of at school. By the time Dawn found out he committed suicide ..it was way too late. I honestly think what this book taught me is not to focus on what other people say about you. You really shouldn't let them get to you at all. I really thank my friend for showing me this book. I found this book , well , my friend basically gave it to me and told me to read it. It happened to be the most amazing book I have ever read. So , this is my thoughts on this book Breaking Dawn by Donna Shelton.

I'm not thrilled. The idea seems like it was a good one, but I feel it was poorly executed, particularly the not-middle parts. The beginning felt melodramatic and read like the terrible stuff I wrote in my poet-wanna-be days (and believe me, that stuff is terrible), and the end seemed trite to me, too perfectly wrapped up, without any loose ends or snags or anything. The writing overall was kind of stilted, like a 30-something trying to remember how teenagers talk and not quite getting it right. (Though I wouldn't really know, either.) Or maybe a poet trying to remember how prose works. The bit I thought was best written would probably actually the last sentence on 126, when her dad's in the kitchen. Just that one sentence. Overall, it's a decent read and it isn't one of those annoying, "he said, she said" or "he loves me/he loves me not" books, though my personal preference would be for a more refined writing style. But I'm probably just a snoot like that.

Breaking Dawn (Cutting Edge) by Donna Shelton was a great book. However, it was very depressing. The main character is a girl named Dawn. Her bestfriend named Perry is very depressed because he comes from a background of a Father who ran away and a Mother who sleeps with men. They are both in highschool and Dawn is having a rough time. She falls in love with Brian who is the popular sports jock. Throughout the book, sad events occur and happy events occur.
I liked this book very much. However, it was super depressing which is what I didn't like that much. I wished it was a little more cheerful because it gave me a bad vibe. It was interesting to read this book and see what would happen next. There was always something new with this story.
All in all, this book, I rate it out of four stars because again it was a very sad story. Even though this book was depressing, Donna Shelton is an amazing author and she knows how to write good books.

Perry's has a secret and it's the way people will find out to because of Dawn. She didn't mean to say out loud. Dawn and Perry have been friends since pre-school. Now they are in high school and Dawn starts to gets noticed by Brian. Dawn has a crush on him and so does "somebody else".

Once they were inseparable but jealousy and betrayal can underline friendship. But When Perry needs Dawn the most and his life right now and she not there for him because of Brian. Now That his big secret is out becomes public and the hurt, shame and abuse become too much to bear. Dawn's beings to battle through guilt and despair to find life again - a life after loss.

I really think the author could have made this book longer. I read it in one sitting. but other than that, it is a great book. I highly encourage young adults to read this book, it will make you laugh, cry, get mad, and get depressed over it. the way the author expresses the strong emotions make it feel like the situation is happening in real life. like you sure witnessing it. one of my all time favorites.

I wasn't overly impressed with this book. I read it in just two sittings, as it was an easy read. It interested me as it involves a member of the LGBT community. The book becomes extremely morbid, extremely quickly. It was, however, well-written, and I would be intrigued to read another book written by this author.

I actually thought this story was pretty good. I like this imprint from Saddleback with it's more mature and edgier storylines.

Mostly loved it because it was so short but still got me engaged and I couldn't put it down during its short duration! Great :)

The part when Perry committed suicide really devastated me and I couldn't sleep for days because at 13 years old (when I read this) I realised that's the reality of this world. Want to read this again as a 20 year old but I can't find a copy :(
