I bought this book and began reading it at the beginning of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. I thought that it would be a most fitting book to read as I went through this wonderful church year. At this point, I've only read through a fraction of the book, but I have to admit that it is a wonderful thought provoking and spiritual guide.

If you follow Pope Francis, you know that his words (whether written or spoken) are swollen with grace and truth. There is much to meditate upon. This book focuses on 'short bites' of his best writings and public speaks thus far. they are poignant, insightful and challenging, but most of all they are encouraging and uplifting. They stand as a monument to Our Lord's Mercy which is much desired but often misunderstood.

I would challenge you to let Pope Francis take you with him as he reflects, guides and confronts us with one of the most perplexing yet most deeply desired facets of God - His Mercy! You might be surprised what you discover along the way.

This is not a book to read and set aside. It is rich with moving moments. I will continue reading this book. The messages of mercy are inspiring, moving, and helpful. Pope Francis shares his experience with the real world and touches the heart. I will continue reading the statements and reflections and I hope many others have the same opportunity. Embrace of this message could give us a different social environment.
