I went into this one a little skeptical, but it totally won me over. This book is a super approachable intro to the vagus nerve, packed with simple, practical exercises you can actually fit into daily life. No complicated science lessons—just clear tips that help with stress, mood, energy, and even immunity. I’ve already noticed a positive shift since trying a few of the techniques! If you’re looking for a natural, non-pharmacological way to feel better, this is an excellent place to start.

This book explained the vagus nerve in a way I could actually understand. It connects stress, digestion, sleep, and mood and shows how they all run through this one system. The best part is the exercises, breathing, small movement, easy routines. There is nothing complicated or guru style. I tried a few while reading and felt calmer and lighter in my body. It doesn’t promise magic, but it gives clear steps that feel realistic for daily life. A very practical read.

Great introduction to VNS

This is a great introduction to the vagal nerve and vagal nerve stimulation. It's easy to read with lots of practical ways to adopt it into your own life. I especially appreciated that the research behind the claims presented is comprehensively presented at the back of the book.
Excellent book if you are looking for a non-pharmalogical intervention.
