It all starts with one little seed of love.“The Miracle Maker is coming!” Everyone in the tiny hamlet is excited when they hear the news that the renowned man of wonders is coming to their village. But the humble traveler who appears isn’t what anyone expected. They were looking forward to someone magnificent who would change their lives. But it seems this man can barely take care of himself, let alone fulfill the dreams of others. However, miracles can come in all shapes and sizes—and sometimes from unexpected places.
This story has a most fitting message for this time of year. I loved how the "miracle maker" gently mentored and directed each person requesting assistance to become so much better, thus becoming much happier. There is much to be said about forgetting our own issues and troubles and concentrating on helping others, and this book exquisitely expresses that. The illustrations are beautiful and touching as well.
This ordinary looking, old man changes the little village with his thoughtful, Christ-like, suggestions to the richest man in the village, to a sad, frail woman and a school teacher. The suggestions are all the same--lift the burdens of other people. Just what I need to do.
Sweet uplifting story - perfect for any time of year - and a wonderful way to remind our kids and ourselves that miracles often live within us. We just need to be the miracle we wish to see 🤍
A poor town hears of a miracle man coming to town and look forward to getting the help they need. Many folk are helped and help each other. A quick lovely read about helping others.
This little town had people who were just miserable and didn't even try to celebrate Christmas. One day they learned that someone special was coming to their town. They even said he was a miracle maker. When a man came he was not at all what they expected. Interesting little story of how he changed the town.
The rest of the title is "From Small things Come Mighty Miracles" and the story shows this. A miracle maker comes to town and plants seeds and removes stones. Good analogy for daily living.
He taught a village to believe. A short sweet story that reminds us of the importance of love and service, doing unto others, and looking closer at how we live. Perfect for this Christmas season.
I bought the illustrated version of this book for a Christmas gift for my family. It is a beautiful story about how love and service make us truly happy.
