Weighting on Summer: A Lesbian Romance

Rate this book
What if the one who broke you...
is the only one who can help you heal?

Weighting on Summer is a powerful lesbian love story rooted in emotional realism.

Lyric thought she understood love… until she met Summer. Mysterious, magnetic, and wild in a way that made breathing feel optional, Summer was more than a best friend. She was a pulse beneath Lyric’s skin.

But in a world that dismisses girlhood love and shames queer intimacy, neither of them knew how to hold what they had safely, especially when the lines between desire and danger began to blur.

Then came one night.
A party.
A drink.
And a silence that screamed for years.

Summer disappeared without a trace, leaving behind only questions, shattered trust, and the ache of unfinished love. The emotional wreckage nearly swallowed Lyric whole.

Years later, Lyric’s days are quieter now, carefully rebuilt, delicately managed. Until a soft knock at the door and a silver-collared kitten reopens the wound she never truly closed.

What if Summer didn’t leave by choice?
What if the past isn’t finished with them?

And what if love… raw, painful, and unrelenting, was always meant to find its way back?

For readers who crave honesty, ache for representation, and believe in second chances, Weighting on Summer is an unforgettable journey through trauma, longing, and the messy, magnificent work of choosing love after everything.

Weighting on Summer is beautifully written. Before Lyric can even process what's going on between her and Summer, she disappears, leaving her in the lurch. It took Lyric a while to get over the pain.

Discreetly steamy, elegant, emotional, deep. It's a story of second chances and learning to trust again in spite of everything.
