Obsessed does not even begin to cover it. We meet Stephanie at her absolute lowest. Everything is going wrong, and the opinions of others deeply affect her. After being exiled and forced to pick up the pieces of her life, she emerges as Stevie. And I absolutely love her. She's sassy, fierce, bent on revenge and has a penchant for pink. It's everything. She has to navigate some truly dangerous new people in her life on her quest for vengeance, and the story kept me up to the very end to see how it all played out. I am not exaggerating when I say I chose not to sleep last night so I could finish this. For someone with anemia and autoimmunes, this is no easy feat. The book was that good. I am going to be counting down the days until book two, rereading this and reading all the other books by this author. I am hooked.

This was my first H.B. Cliffy book, and will definitely NOT be my last. I started this book thinking I would only read a little, but did not put it down once, not until I got to the acknowledgments.
This may not be the darkest book I’ve read, however, it is still very dark so please do not skip the TW’s. This book was raw, packed with emotions, and tense, but also had an air of playfulness and banter between characters that kept it evenly balanced and easy to read.
I absolutely loved the FMC and her take-no-shit attitude, and The Butchers, who I don’t love and don’t necessarily hate either. Although, I am leaning more towards “love” for them - *right now* at least. I did love the found-family between other characters though, and I’m hoping to see more of that in the rest of the series in the future.
All in all, this was a great and quick read! I had a lot of fun while reading it and was fully wrapped up in the story from start to finish! Special thank you to H.B. Cliffy for the eARC!

Stevie is a bad bitch, no one can argue that! She’s strong-willed and gets what she wants! And what she wants is Graves, Mack, and my two favorites, Stone & Kash. I can’t wait for the next book!

Geesh! So I’m an arc obviously. I found our lovely author last month doing an arc for the latest book of the WIA series and was given the entire set so I read and reviewed the entire set! I love this series. Now when I saw apps go up for this my interest was yet again peeked even though I was sent through a roller coaster! So let’s just get into my little review but there will be spoilers if you have not read the WIA series yet!
Atticus - trust me, we hate this terrible excuse of a man. He’s also the husband of sweet Mae. Again, you need to read the WIA to understand our disgust with him. Trust me, we don’t like him!! And this is a prequel because when you read those he gets his.
Mae - we love her. She’s married to Atticus but, well we are mad and disgusted at their story but over there in the other series everything ends up working for her. Just hold tight!!
Hillcreep - that’s what I’m going to call him and trust me when I say, you will too amongst other things. We do not like this pathetic creep!! Off rip we do not like him!!
Stevie - this is our main girl of the story and we like her. We hate that she doesn’t start her harem in this book (I’m putting it out there!! It’s gonna happen!! I feel it!!) and we hate what hillcreep does to her!
Mack - Stevie’s step bro (yes we have a little taboo going on) we love him. Well he’s a walking red flag and that’s my type so yeah we love him. I have high hopes for him oh and he’s a biker and high in the ranks so yes, yes we love!
Graves - Stevie’s ex, Mack’s best friend, Prez of the MC. He’s still in love with our girl but chose the whole bros before h03s thing. We love him! He wants to protect our girl but rub his MC.
Stone - Stevie’s second conquest. MC member ( do we see where I am going?!) protector, praise giver. Good cop, bad boy. We love him!
Kash - claimed our girl, MC member, enforcer. Up front about what he wants. We love him!! He has a heart ( you’ll see I believe it was like mid book that he does have a heart and is a good guy)
All in all, cliffhanger, good book, page turner, characters I didn’t like are back and still vile. Well not back because this is the before but can’t wait for the next book!!

Speechless…
This was my first H.B Cliffy book and it did not disappoint!!
I’ll definitely be reading her other books!
So, let start off with that I finished this book in 1 day! As a stay at home mom to 3 boys, I could NOT put it down!!
It was so good that I read straight through without highlighting or noting anything in the book. I couldn’t stop reading it to do those things
I’m obsessed with Stevie. She is your badass FMC.
But she was so well written that she wasn’t annoying like some FMC’s can be
I love her confidence but still has that sliver of vulnerability to make her human and not invincible.
And don’t get me started on the MMC’s! Yes! Plural!
This is a multiple POV and was so well written, it was so easy to follow along with each POV.
Max or Mack, he struggles to come to terms with his conflicting feelings for Stevie. He’s angry, broody, and has deep green eyes 🫠 what more could you ask for 😏
Kash, golden retriever despite his role in the MC. He is definitely a “cutie” 🤭 gives ‘touch and 💀’ vibes but is golden retriever towards her and is “in terms” the mother hen to the other MC members
Grave or Jamie, is of course just as gorgeous. He also struggles with his feeling with her because of his loyalty to his ‘brother’ but his feelings run deeper. He has a lot of regrets and I can’t wait to read how he rights his wrongs
Stone or Shawn, ugh where to I begin? That man is a mystery to me. He makes his attraction known, that’s for sure 🔥
There is just something about him that I can’t wait to read more about!
From what I’ve been told, in true H.B Cliffy fashion, this book ends on a cliffhanger 😫 and I need the 2nd book like yesterday!

H.B. Cliffy did not disappoint again. Pink Poison is on fire y’all. Having a motorcycle club and strippers, what more can you ask for? This story was read in a day because the thought of waiting a few minutes to find out what happened next was not okay. It has suspense, conflict, emotional damage, healing, and a cliffhanger.
The FMC Stephanie, AKA Stevie and Barbie, is faced with some challenges within her life. She chooses a path that puts her in harm’s way. She’s only trying to fit in somewhere and can’t find the place she is looking for. She is constantly thinking of someone very dear to her and can’t seem to get him out of her head. So she is always left with running thoughts.
The MMC’s are all different in their own ways. They’re all part of the motorcycle club and they all play an important part to Stevie. Each one holds a space in her heart for many different reasons. Some are there to protect her. Some are there to cause problems. A couple of them are there to fulfill her needs. They all have one thing in common and that is to keep her safe.
This explanation of characters does not do the book justice. There are many conflicts within this story; ones that Stevie faces and always seems to get out of, with the help of her MC crew. My first book by H.B. Cliffy and I couldn’t be more excited, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED & DEVOURED this book in a day and a half. The FMC STEVIE IS AMAZING, once she gets on her feet there's no stopping her, she's confident, strong willed, determined and won't let no one stand in her way for what she wants. As an exotic dancer she prides her self in taking care of herself by not depending on others to get what she wants and not letting the Butchers MC tell her she can’t stay in her home town cause her stepbrother has issues with her. After they send her packing so he don't have to deal with her, 5 years later she comes back with a vengeance of not backing down and letting them know she's not going anywhere and all the while several MC members become quite enthralled with the beautiful PINK CRAZED loving dancer including the stepbrother so much that she's burrowed under thier skin driving them crazy to the point they call her PINK POISON but with the trouble her & the MC face they have to work together to find out whose behind all their troubles but of course we're left on a CLIFF before we find out whose taunting the beauty whose stirring up trouble in NAWLINS. Dark, Dirty, and Just Getting Started 🔥
Okay book besties, "Pink Poison" by H.B. Cliffy is a wild, dirty ride—and I LIVED for it! This is Book 1 in the Butchers MC series, and it’s giving dark, edgy, suspenseful, and straight-up addictive. Stevie, our FMC, is tossed into the chaos that is Mack, Grant, Stone, and Kash—four intense, dangerous, and absolutely unhinged men who are all obsessed with her in their own twisted ways. Max (the angsty, obsessed stepbrother), had me gasping and side-eyeing my Kindle like “sir, are you okay??” 👀
The banter? Sharp and fun. The spicy scenes? Girl. So spicy. 🔥 Stevie’s chemistry with the guys sizzled, and I’m not mad about the one-handed reading this book required. 😏
Now, full honesty—there were some slow moments, and at times, I felt a bit of an emotional disconnect from Stevie as a reader. But the bones of this story? Solid. The plot has so much potential and totally kept my interest. It’s clearly a setup book, and with that cliffhanger (RUDE), I’m dying to see where things go next.
This one’s a must-read if you love dark, obsessive, why-are-they-so-hot-it-hurts kind of chaos. I’m strapped in for book 2!

A new offering from my favourite dark romance author has arrived and I am not disappointed in the slightest.
Morally grey men on motorcycles. Women making their own strength despite the men in their lives. A stepbrother who can’t tell the difference between hate and lust. A woman who can’t - won’t - choose.
Set in the same universe as HB Cliffy’s World Intelligence Agency, this story does not pull its punches. You can absolutely read this book without having read the series, but you won’t fully understand the danger lurking behind certain eyes. For maximum dread, binge the other series first.
Moving onto the finer details of the book - it’s dark. Many scenes take place in a *ahem* gentleman’s club. There might be a queue to get in, but once you’re in, the doors are wide open. There are a lot of potential/likely triggers in this book, with most of the male characters swathed in red flags. Be sure to check your triggers like you would before reading any dark romance.
All up this is a fabulous, intriguing start to a new series and I am really looking forward to seeing where things go. If you enjoy MC romance, why choose, darker romance, or just anything with men who look good draped in red flags, this is for you.

Get your cold shower ready!! Not only for the steam in the book but also to regulate your heart rate with the twist!

Her stepbrother who hates her but also can’t seem to stop wanting her is not happy at all but when him and his Motorcycle Club (who all have a soft spot (I mean hard spot ;) ) for her) have to decide between his hatred or protecting her? Which will he choice (gotta read it to find out).
This book was soo HOTT between the dirty talking, the hate you but want you scenes, the bathroom scene and everything else! You will need a shower to cool down because pffff it’s HOTT!! The men were possessive, obsessive, and everything you can ask for!
The plot was so good I couldn’t put it down and it takes you on quite the ride! It literally has you screaming at your kindle because you need answers! I guess I’ll have to wait for book two! :(

I enjoyed reading this ARC.
Some of the tropes are dark romance, motorcycle club gang, step siblings, found family, why choose, sexual abuse, bdsm.
In this first installment, Stevie sets whole story in the motion by returning home for her "revenge". She got all our boys fighting internal war over her. One thing that I didn't understand at the beginning was why Stevie just didn't return home after dropping out of college. Was it the pride?
Anyhow, out of all the boys, Mack prevails in my mind as an example of tortured man, and his hard time dealing with his emotions when it comes to Stevie and their family's past. I am hoping that we get to see his "redemption" in the next book.
Even tho Kash and Stone are integral part of the club, when it comes to their relationships with Stevie, I felt they were cute, burden relieving extras.
Story definitely gives SoA vibes, with whole mc setting and dynamic, and secret deals and backstabbing, so it will definitely keep readers entertained.

I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I really liked the FMC Stevie/Stephanie. I was glad she had people in her corner (aka Mo and Teegan). What happened to her at the beginning broke my heart but she came back strong and with a vengeance. As the story went on I couldn’t put it down. Then there was one part that had me going “Noooo!” (I won’t spoil it for you but you’ll see). And it ends on a cliffhanger so be prepared.
I will say getting the opportunity to read this ARC has me now wanting to read the other stories in this series. Give this a read I promise you won’t regret it. Thanks so much H.B Cliffy for the opportunity to read this ARC and providing my honest review!

Where are my dark romance girlies? You need to RUN to start this series!! This was by far the best book I have read this year. The next book (Pretty Toxin) is coming...going to be released April 27, 2026 so please I beg of you: read this one as soon as you can! I literally read this book in one half a day. I could NOT stop reading it, and stayed up way too late to get more of Stevie. But who needs sleep when you can have a pink Barbie Bad A$$ FMC taking what she deserves??
This book is intense. It isn't for the new dark romance reader or the squeamish. You are going to find tropes like why choose, motorcycle MMCs and a stripper FMC, voyeurism, stepbrother, along with things like forced s3x work and ownership . There is obsession ALL over the place.

I am so obsessed with this book, the author's writing style, the candid nature of the issues within the story. If I could give this 6 stars I would!!!!

Might I just say…WOW. This book had me hooked from very early on, each chapter only added to the story, making me bite my nails in anticipation for what was next.
Stevie and all of our MMC are just😩🤌🏻 they are so diverse, so real, so…hot ✨
The story is really fast pace, happening in less than a week, and let me tell you- COULD NOT PUT DOWN. I absolutely devoured this book and WILL be devouring this series.

I received this as an ARC and honestly it was amazing. I absolutely loved our “take no shit” FMC. She was everything women enjoy reading about in regard to picking up after the lows in life. It’s never an easy choice or decision where to go next in life but her view on what needed to be done was everything for me. I love her found family and our MMCs. Her relationship with Mack/Max is very reminiscent of Rina Kent books but leaves so much space for where this story can go. While these men feel like they were injected with her pink poison, I feel like I was injected with theirs. All are so different and definitely red flags but in Stevie’s words “He’s a walking, talking, red flag, but I’m f*cking colorblind, and green is all I see when compared with our present company.” Enjoy the ride 😉

I received this book directly from H.B. Cliffy in order to ARC read the next book in the series.
This was my first book from H.B. Cliffy and it didn't disappoint. I did enjoy the author's writing style. There were some backstory areas that I wish were touched on more, but I am sure the further along you go into the story, it will touch on. I will say that I did love the found family aspect. I am a firm believer that we choose who is family and blood doesn't always matter. The FMC is a badass who is in tune with herself and I absolutely love that. Our MMC's are some assholes, but you grow to love their protective instincts. I am looking forward to reviewing the next book Pretty Toxin.

H.B. Cliffy is a new author to me and I gotta say I was quite impressed!
The blurb caught my attention, but the plot captivated my attention. I read this book in 1 day!
There was drama, lots of feels, secrets, sexual tension, and spice. We also had just a bit of humor.
Stephanie made such a great FMC. She was confident and was no push over.
Mack, Kash, Stone, and Graves. I loved each of them, even a certain a-hole stepbrother. I think we have so much more to learn about each of our main characters. I enjoyed the individual relationships and im definitely looking forward to seeing those relationships develope even more.
I'm not gonna lie, that ending brought out so many emotions. Im crossing my fingers we get book 2 soon!

I was extremely surprised when I started this book, i expected to read it little by little over a few days. Once i started it i didnt put it down until i was finished with it. It hooks you from the very beginning and you just want to know more.
This book started to build up so really great characters, I love the strong, bad ass women it has throughout the book and I can not wait for the next book to read more about them.
Its not the darkest I have read but it is dark so definitely look at the TWs for this book. The spice is great! Im very interested to see what happens between them all in the next book!

I thought this book was the perfect start to the Butchers MC series. We first met Stevie in the World Intelligence Agency books, and I was so happy that her story is being told.
The Butchers MC. Mack, Graves, Stone and Kash are like brothers, and Stevie is their obsession.
They call her poison. She’s gotten under their skin and I cannot wait to see how this series progresses.
Creed Hill was an unexpected addition. We first meet him in the WIA and he definitely gives off Atticus vibes. While it’s not necessary I suggest diving into that series before this.
Overall, I found this to be such an entertaining, spicy read.

I consumed this book!
This is my first H.B.Cliffy book and it sure won't be my last! this story brings the perfect blend of taboo, "why choose" romance, and a dark, spicy edge that had me falling hard and fast.
Let's talk about them book boyfriends ! All 4 of them. Each bringing their own level of perfection. Luckily you don't have to choose just one.
Spice to plot ratio was *chef kiss* The spice was giving 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I don’t even know where to start… I started this book and couldn’t put it down! I love a good dark MC book and this fulfilled that need. I can’t believe how well this was written. I love some spice in a book but this was beyond what I could hope for. Some great plot with a mix of spice in it. Stephanie is an amazing lead and makes you feel every emotion she’s feeling and how she feels about things. Like any dark romance please read the trigger warnings! While nothing triggers me when reading there might be some sensitive stuff for other readers. Spice level 3/5 for me.

I couldn’t put this book down, no matter how hard I tried. H.B. Cliffy did a wonderful job on this book. The spice level is definitely a 5/5. This was my first book by her, and she has completely hooked me from beginning to end. I love the mix of the tropes of dark romance, motorcycle club, step siblings, found family, and why choose all in one book. Who would’ve thought the same MC that the FMC tried to get revenge on would be the same MC that has to do everything in their power to keep her safe and out of harm's way.

This was my first H. B. Cliffy book and I have to say…I can’t wait for the next one!!! I really enjoy books with multiple viewpoints and this one does not disappoint. This was also my first step into MC books, and it also will not be my last.
I give this book 4 stars. This book has a strong FMC who isn’t afraid to own herself, a lot of broody alpha men, and all the dark drama/ romance with a touch of taboo. I loved it and can’t wait for book 2!

It made me laugh how the main female character was the same as mine. That was a funny surprise. Pink poison gives son’s of anarchy vibes with a side of night club vibes. I’m very upset on the cliffhanger. I knew it was coming but gosh darn it, I hope I don’t have to wait too long to know what it will happen next. The suspense was killing me, we need some revenge soon.
