Faith changed her name to escape a life she never chose.
Teaching second grade in a small Idaho town is nothing like the spotlight of the fashion empire she left behind. Her new life is quiet, cozy, and finally her own.
Everything is going according to plan—until Adam Peters walks into her classroom. The devoted single dad and charismatic high school basketball coach that has been stealing her attention all year.
When a class project and snowstorms push them together, Faith and Adam are forced to navigate more than lesson plans. But Adam isn’t ready to risk his heart—not after his manipulative ex shattered his trust—and Faith’s secrets might ruin everything.
Can a teacher with a past and a coach with too much on his plate discover a love neither expected?
Secrets in the Snow is a sweet romance where healing takes courage, love isn’t planned, and snowflakes aren’t the only thing falling.
I grew up in small town Idaho and communicate through movie quotes and song lyrics.
I taught myself to read before Kindergarten and have loved reading ever since. Especially books with lots of kisses, sweet love stories, strong characters, and lots of witty banter—ingredients I want in all my stories.
I try to survive on chai tea, Dr. Pepper, and dark chocolate. Other guilty pleasures include marathons of the Great British Baking Show, BBC period dramas, Harry Potter anything, and French Fries. I get my steps in with Target aisles, getting lost in bookstores, and walking in the sunshine.
I live in Star, Idaho, with my hot husband, four rapidly growing children, a strong belief in happily ever afters, and pink laptop—a nod to my belief that everything is just a little better in pink.
This was a cute no-spice read! 🥰 I loved the single dad x teacher trope. The characters in this were great as well, except for those few that I didn’t like. I liked how this story tackled some issues that are very real and are difficult to navigate. I’ll definitely have to go and read the first book in this series! Thanks to the author Kiri Patterson and BookFunnel for the e-ARC! 💙
Secrets in the Snow is such a sweet, feel-good Christmas story!
Faith, a second grade teacher needs to have a critical conversation with her student Danny’s very good looking and very intimidating single dad. Let’s just say the conversion does not go well, yet Adam volunteered to help Faith head up a business fair for the kids. A few apologizes and little time spent together never hurt anyone, right?
This was such a cute story with a single dad who gets a second chance at love and a teacher (my favorite!) who finds a family! Adam and Faith are adorable and I loved seeing them become friends and eventually fall for each other. Danny was such a cute kid and I enjoyed how he added to the story! Adam was the best dad and so loving and protective over Danny and Faith!
Favorite quotes:
“Adults are terrifying. Parent teacher conferences stressed me out for days, but meeting with parents outside those guidelines… nightmare inducing.”
“I really shouldn’t have stayed up so late, even if the enemies just became lovers in my novel. Today, I think my current reading addiction and I were enemies.”
“I bet he is a great kisser, and he could definitely lift you off your feet with those biceps.” Rose wiggled her eyebrows. The image instantly played in my mind, and I enjoyed the daydream more than I should have.”
In Secrets in the snow we follow Faith and Adam. Faith loves teaching second grade on a small school in Idaho until Adam Peters walks in. The devoted single dad and charismatic high school basketball coach that has been stealing her attention all year. When Faith and Adam have to work together for a schoolproject they starting to get to know eachother. Can Faith cross the line while being Danny’s teacher or will Adam and Danny end up hurt again?
I loved this book so much. I flew through it, it was really fast paced which was really good. It was really interesting to read about someone being neurodivergent especially after not knowing much about it. I really liked the reference Faith maked with the football and basketball to explain neurodivergence to Adam. I loved Danny he was so honest and sweet. The whole town was such a big found family. I didn’t like Jessica but I did like the character development she made at the end. Adams mom and Faiths dad where such sweethearts for their children. They wanted a good life for them when other didn’t. This was my first book by Kiri Patterson but I will definitely read more from her!!
Thank you Kiri Patterson for the ARC, this review is my own opinion.
This book has me by the absolute heart. It’s got all the things we love: a sweet small (realistic) town at holiday time, best friends, secrets of our past, a super hot AND kind MMC and his adorable son, and the added bonus for me of a FMC who is a teacher who absolutely LOVES her job. There are some incredibly grounded themes that really help to make the book feel rooted in reality and allows the reader to lean in on these characters.
I am not ashamed to say that I teared up at this one. I love when a book can reach in and touch the soul. Not every romance book needs to be heavy on the spice to convey a burn and this one strikes the exact right balance. I can’t wait to recommend this on ALL of my holiday book hauls.
Faith has lived in Hillsdale, ID for about 3 years now and has kept her past life a secret from everyone. She just wants to teach, bake, read and take bubble baths. What will happen when she has to meet with the very handsome and very single dad of one of her students? Did I mention he’s also the basketball coach for the high school?
Adam is a single dad to a sweet boy named Danny in 2nd grade. He coaches basketball for the high school and is trying to manage home and work life balance, can he handle dating too? It definitely wasn’t something he thought about until he meets his son’s second grade teacher, Faith.
This story has you swooning and crying with a good measure of laughter thrown in. The character growth in both the adults and children in the book are well written and relatable. There is great representation for neurodivergence and struggles with anxiety. This book is a must read for anyone looking for a cozy winter read! It definitely had me wanting to curl up under my warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and some fresh baked cookies!
I loved everything about this book. Danny was just the cutest and Adam and Faith were perfect for each other! All of the supporting characters were well written and the plot was great. It’s a perfect read for Christmas so definitely add it to your TBR for the holidays!
Secrets in the Snow is a comforting read with a cozy small town setting and endearing characters. One of my favorite aspects of Patterson's writing is how she includes deeper themes in her books. This is not only a feel-good read for curling up with a cup of hot chocolate on a snowy winter day; it is an exploration of growth, self acceptance and perseverance in the face of obstacles. Thank you for this ARC read!
I completely loved this book! I read it in two days and had to force myself to put it down. Each character goes through so much growth and healing but the book was still lighthearted and funny. My heart was so happy at how everything turned out at the end. Even the mean girl who drove me nuts throughout the book got a redemptive ending. If you’re looking for a cozy winter read, this is the perfect book to curl up by the fire with. I’m very much looking forward to the next book in the series!
Thank you @authorkiripatterson for sending me an ARC! This is another cozy read by this author. Perfect for the season. Wrap up in a blanket and eat a plate of cookies. This book has relatable characters in Faith a school teacher and Adam a single parent and his son Danny. The small town feeling and character growth will keep you from putting this book down. If you love baking, cozy small towns, a single dad basketball coach, and a surprise hidden identify past this book is for you.
This is a feel good book with substance. If you love Katherine Center you will enjoy Kiri Patterson!

Review:
This story was so sweet and tugged at my heart! 🥹 I loved getting to know Faith, Adam, & Danny. I loved Faith’s devotion to her job and the kids she was put in charge of. I loved that she wanted to be their advocate when they were in need of something. I also loved that she was an anxious character and had ways that she could help herself through the well of emotions going through her. It made her more real, especially when she pushed through her anxiety in order to stand up to/for someone else. I loved Adam’s approaches to parenting and coaching. He was a great role model for both Danny and his basketball team. I loved that he led by example for them and was willing to admit when he made a mistake to Danny to help him learn. I loved also Danny! He was so perceptive at times and blunt too. 😂 I loved his no nonsense approach to things and his complete focus to whatever topic he was interested in at the time.
I hope that Rose is getting a story next! I want to know more about her and the guy she’s really not thrilled with in this book! 😅😂
Summary:
Faith loves teaching her second graders and doesn’t regret that she changed her life so drastically from how she grew up. Each of her students has their own little quirks and she loves helping guide them through the best learning experience she can give them. And when one of her students shows signs of needing a little more love and care, Faith wants to do everything she can to let the parent know and work together with him. She just didn’t expect to fall for the single dad along the way…
Adam feels like he’s failing at times as a father, especially when Danny has a difficult day. Having someone else tell him Danny has things to work through does not help. But when Adam realizes that Faith truly wants to help Danny, he can’t help but be drawn to her. Not only for her kindness towards his son, but also for the way she can connect with Danny unlike anyone in their family. But he can’t put his heart on the line again. Not when Danny’s heart would be right there on the line with his…
Such a sweet romance! Definitely read if you love single dad and teacher, small town, and found family vibes!
Faith is an heiress who left her former life seeking to find who she really is. Now a second grade teacher in a small town, she is carrying the weight of choices she made when she was younger trying to fit the image her mother expected of her as the heir to the Luxe fashion brand.
Adam is a single dad and coach of the small town schools basketball team who is carrying the wounds of his divorce and weight of raising his son on his own.
After a confrontation over Adam’s son Danny, where Faith (Danny’s teacher) was encouraging testing to help support Danny’s potential neurodivergence, Adam and Faith end up working together on a school project supporting her class.
As they get to know each other the sparks fly and they struggle with how to handle their feelings and what to do about pursuing a relationship when Faith is still Danny’s teacher. Adam starts to learn more about neurodivergence as he struggles to determine how best to support his son and as he falls in love with Faith, who struggles with social anxiety and panic attacks.
The social anxiety and panic attacks were very well represented and it was so nice to see Faith cared for and supported instead of viewed as crazy (as so many who struggle with these things do).
It was also so nice to see her friends support her after she reveals who she was in her past.
Watching these two overcome their pasts and learn to trust and love each other was very sweet. I’m so glad they got their happy ending!
You should definitely check out this book if you like holiday tropes with a hallmarky feel!
Thank you to Kiri for including me on her ARC team! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Content: Clean romance (level 2-3 romance) Mild language Panic attacks Toxic family member Past mentions of bullying Past mention of self-harm that led to hospitalization (few details)
Faith, a former fashion heiress turned small-town teacher, is determined to keep her quiet new life in Idaho free of complications. But when single dad and basketball coach Adam enters her world and they are forced together through school projects and snowstorms. As their attraction and connection grows, the walls they have both built start to crumble and now they must both decide if love is worth the risk.
What you'll love: School teacher and single dad dual pov workplace romance basketball coach forced proximity anxiety/neurodivergent rep found family baking cutting down the Christmas tree every scene with Danny small town charm swoony kisses! the perfect ending
This romance was adorable from start to finish! I truly could not put it down. Full of charm, warmth, and so much heart, it perfectly captures small town life and the beauty of finding love when you least expect it!
From the ill-fated parent teacher conference to that perfect ending, I was cheering on Adam and Faith every step of the way. Both were flawed but lovable characters, each on their own journey of growth full of struggles, but together, they were pure magic! I adored all the flirty tension, the emotional depth of their relationship and oh, that first kiss melted my heart!
The author handled anxiety and neurodivergent representation with care and compassion, and it made the story both uplifting and genuine. Danny had such a gift to love! He completely stole my heart and he definitely stole the show! So many favorite scenes it would be impossible to list them all.
This is the second book in the series but can easily be enjoyed as a standalone. If you love close-knit small towns, second chances, and heart-melting romance, this is one that needs to be on your TBR this winter!
I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.
This was such a good one! Not my first read from Kiri Patterson and definitely not my last. Always a wonderful time. I'm really enjoying the Hillsdale series! This town and the characters have really grown on me! I can't wait for even more.
Adam is the high school coach and single dad. He's such a sweetheart and will do anything for his son. He isn't looking to date until he meets Faith. Faith changed her name to escape her family and start fresh. Shes the second grade teacher and Adams sons teacher. When Adam and Faith have to work together on a school project they begin getting much closer. I loved their building friendship to romance. Adam was so good for Faith and vice versa. They really brought out the best in each other too.
"He saw me for me - and loved me and held me through all my uncertainty, as I found myself, and that made all the difference." Adam is the book boyfriend of book boyfriends! Swoon.
Danny was such a sweet kid and it was so good to see some representation out there! I have a daughter with ADD and autism and it is so hard in the school system! It's a struggle each and every day. I felt so seen in this book. I felt so much closer to faith as I struggle from many things like she does. Thank you for bringing somethings to light in this book as it is so important to have representation out there!
Such a beautiful story filled with struggles, strength, sacrifice, and love. I cried so hard at some scenes so thanks for that. You know its a good one when it can make you bawl. This heartwarming story needs to be added to your TBR! Highly recommend!
Secrets in the Snow by Kiri Patterson was a perfect read to get me ready for the holidays and the coziness of winter. I enjoyed every minute of reading this sweet book. From the small town setting to the Christmas vibes to the sweet romance, I was hooked from page one.
I adored both Faith and Adam. I loved how their relationship developed from their initial rocky parent-teacher conference to the beginnings of a friendship to a sweet romance. As a single father, Adam had some strong barriers in place to protect both him and his son. I loved seeing Faith slow break down the barriers and work her way into Adam’s heart. I also loving seeing Faith open herself up to trust the people in her live with her secret.
Danny was fabulous. He was real and sweet and reminded me of my own sweet boy. I loved his student-teacher relationship with Faith. Every scene with Danny was a favorite.
Things to love: -small town setting -elementary school teacher/high school teacher romance -single dad -fabulous group of girlfriends -cutting down a Christmas tree -Frosty the Snowman -baking -forced proximity -trust and healing and forgiveness -the ending
Patterson does an amazing job of representing ADHD, anxiety, and autism in a healthy and happy way. The story really warmed my momma heart as Adam and Faith helped Danny thrive. I also loved how Adam helped Faith with her anxiety. I loved how Patterson balanced the struggles/hardships of life with the simple joys of life. It was so well done.
Thank you to the author for the gifted copy. All opinions expressed are my own.
This book was lovely, and I loved seeing Adam and Faith come together in a forced proximity trope.
I also loved how Faith supported Danny, ( an ADHD-coded boy) who I later learn is inspired by the author’s son, who happens to have ADHD.
This book is great if you are looking at a positive yet realistic portrayal of teachers in the modern school system, as well as the encouragement of personal growth, friendships, and community support after bad relationships (or bad moments with family).
😆 also, be prepared, there are lots of Christmas trees and snowmen lines!
Best quotes: finding yourself."Marissa, still holding my hand, reached for Rose. "Im sorry about your child. hood. That humans can be so mean."
"Would you stop worrying about other people? Focus on you. I couldn't care less about anyone else right now." I placed my chin on top of her head. "What do you need, Faith?"
“With my arms draped around his neck, I brought my face to his. I had thought of nothing but recreating our first kiss experience all morning.”
I wanted to freeze this moment forever. Capture it and never let it leave my heart. Both my boys sat there looking up at me in the glow of the Christmas tree lights. They both had morning hair sticking up in different directions, and their eyes held such happiness. My boys. My family. My heart was full to the point of bursting.”
@authorkiripatterson always delivers such sweet, lovely romances that feel like a warm hug in a fluffy blanket. In her second book in her Seasons of Hillsdale series, second-grade teacher Faith is anxious about discussing her student Danny with his father. Danny is struggling in the classroom, but single dad Adam is defensive and stressed out. However, the more Adam and Faith get to know each other, the more they relate to each other, until a disaster in their town threatens to pull them apart.
Adam’s son, Danny, was the star of SECRETS IN THE SNOW. The author did an amazing job of creating a character on the spectrum and highlighting all the ways he was unique and delightful, as well as calling gentle attention to the struggles of parenting Danny. Adam’s good intentions and occasional failures were relatable and endearing.
This author also writes female friendship in a lovely way, and I enjoyed spending time with the characters I first met in NO PLANS TO FALL.
If you’re looking for a light, uplifting read that doesn’t shy away from everyday struggles, SECRETS IN THE SNOW is a great choice this winter!
I want to start by saying I received an ARC of this book. This is a clean romance book and part of the Seasons of Hillsdale series. The main characters are Adam and Faith. Adam is a single dad to Danny and a basketball coach while Faith is a teacher. Adam and Faith are attracted to each other but Adam doesn’t want to date after his ex. The more time they spend together the more they open their hearts to each other. Will Adam give in and give Faith a chance? When Adam learns about Faith’s secret will he push her away or be understanding? I loved Adam and Faith together. They were great for each other. Adam is such an amazing dad and a great person. Faith is such a sweetheart and so good with Danny. I loved most of the side characters. I love the small town feel in this book. One of my favorite tropes is single dad so I loved that this book had that. This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone as I haven’t read the first one and I wasn’t lost. Overall, this was a great book. If you love single dad, small town, and a woman with a secret identity then you may love this book.
I loved this book. It did have heavy topics in it, but they were handled so well! Some of the big topics covered in this story include neurodivergence, anxiety, divorce, parent pressure, and bullying.
All that said, this was a wonderful story of a woman who is making her own way in the world, but does eventually have to deal with her issues from the past. FMC Faith is a second grade teacher and loves every minute of it. She spends her days teaching children all that normal teachers do, but she spends time making sure each child is heard, and that they have coping strategies for when life gets hard. I appreciate her perspective when teaching children how to cope, and how she models them for the students as well. In her class in a precious little boy, who displays some behaviors that might be neurodivergent. Faith recognizes these because she has dealt with so many herself. Trying to bring them up to the little boys father (another teacher) doesn't go well. However they both end up working together on a school activity, and sparks fly. Faith however still has some of her own issues to figure out and problems she is running from. Faith knows that in order for her to have a healthy relationship she needs to solve what she is running from. What she doesn't plan is for it to happen so soon.
This is a sweet small town romance, with lots of charm, sweet Christmas activities, heroes of their own stories, found family, grace and forgiveness, and lots of love in all its forms.
My favorite romance book I’ve read all year! Romance is not my #1 preferred genre and because I try to look for sweet/clean romances, many times they end up feeling too cringey, cheesy, or juvenile for me. So I am definitely picky! I was introduced to Kiri’s books at a local Fall Into Fiction event in Star, ID and was in the mood to read a cute Christmas romance. I was surprised it was at my local library so I picked it up and fell in love! I relate so much with Faith with social anxieties and overthinking and trying to love myself for who I am so this book really tugged at my heartstrings and honestly gave me great advice. Adam was so lovable and reminded me of my amazing husband and how sweet he is to me. It wasn’t too mushy and I don’t even remember cringing ha! All the moments were super sweet and organic. Who knows, maybe I’m just in a romantic mood during Christmas ;) It was exactly what I hoping for in a cozy holiday read and am looking forward to reading more of Kiri’s books! I especially love that she is local to me in Idaho!

@authorkiripatterson has the gift of creating characters who feel so real in their flaws, challenges, and struggles. She doesn’t shy away from hard topics - yet approaches them with the greatest compassion and empathy. Her books make readers feel seen and validated in most comforting way.
This romance was absolutely the sweetest! I couldn’t stop smiling!
If you love sweet romances that will melt your heart, this book is for you!
Content: social anxiety, divorce, neurodivergence, strained family relationships, mention of past bullying leading a teen to not want to be alive anymore, panic attacks.
Grab your coziest blanket, because this book is a warm hug for your soul!
“We all have different traits, strengths, and weaknesses. Not better or worse, just different.”
This story didn't just grab my heart; it ran away with it! The author handled themes of self-acceptance and giving ourselves grace with such beautiful finesse. Seriously, no changing your fundamental self to 'fit in' here—it’s a masterpiece on embracing who you are.
I absolutely devoured Faith and Adam’s journey! It blew my expectations out of the water, and I was completely captivated by how beautifully Kiri represented anxiety, ADHD, and the autism spectrum.
Faith is a beloved 2nd-grade teacher with a big secret she’s determined to keep hidden in Hillsdale. Her quiet life gets a major shake-up when a meeting with a student's parent sparks this whole story to life.
Adam, Hillsdale's charming Coach and a single dad with a big wall around his heart. He's been burned, and he's not about to let another woman abandon him and his sweet son, Danny. But when Danny's teacher calls him in, his carefully constructed world is turned right on its axis.
Oh, my friends, if you need a feel-good escape, this is it! It put the biggest smile on my face seeing how Adam and Faith navigate the holiday season (and Adam? Oh he is a walking green flag). Their Christmas tree picking scene is still one of my favorites!
‘He didn’t feel the need to fix my broken pieces or to save me from my problems. He saw me for me—and loved me and held me through all of my uncertainty, as I found myself, and that made all the difference.’
Thank you to the author for my gifted copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I loved the baking, the interactions between he couple falling in love, and the kiddo.
SECRETS IN THE SNOW also tackles anxiety and neurodivergence along with misconceptions. This is one of the reasons I loved this book.
Faith also struggles with her past and finding forgiveness in her heart. What a great example of going beyond what's expected to do the best for those she loves.
Coming from a single-parent home, I related to the struggles Adam and Danny experienced. Danny is adorable! He reads just like a child instead of an adult in a small body. And Adam is overcoming his own insecurities and problems while managing everything else. It is so relatable.
I recommend this book. It's a warm and cozy hug to get you ready for the holidays (or any time of year when you need hope).
This book was such a sweet read! It had me giggling and kicking my feet at the romance, the friendships were so supportive and loving (where can I find my own Rose), and all the different dynamics were written so well! There was a lot that I could relate to with Faith and a few times cried along with her because of how true it spoke to my life as well. Seeing the dynamic shift and grow between Faith and Adam was so very sweet, and then to watch her love on Danny as well was just so wholesome. I truly loved everything about this book, and can’t wait to read more from Kiri! 5 stars from my shelf to yours! “Life is too short to spend any of it hating yourself.”
I’ve already recommended and am going to be gifting this to my sweet, Hallmark-loving sister!
This was a cute read! I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Christmas story. It takes place in a small town and it is set during winter. Each character has its own background and struggles, and I loved how it was tackled throughout the whole story, it make it feel more real. There's a lot of growth for each character mixed together with light and sweet moments.
Adam is a very protective dad who loves Danny and wants the best for him. Faith is a kind person who loves to teach kids. I enjoyed reading the dynamic not only between them, but also with their friends and people from the town.
* This is a clean no-spice romance. * Thank you for this E-ARC opportunity. All the opinions expressed are purely my own.
Secrets in the Snow immediately reminded me of a cheesy Christmas movie—it's light, fluffy, and delivers that perfect fairytale ending!
What truly resonated with me, however, was the neurodivergent aspect of the story. As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I strongly believe it is essential that we, as a society, educate ourselves about these experiences to ensure we provide a truly healthy and supportive environment.
The author did a wonderful job, and I wholeheartedly connected with the MMC's feelings of inadequacy as a parent.
Overall, this is a nice, easy-to-read holiday romance that is guaranteed to make you feel good!
I absolutely adored this book! It was such a cozy winter read! It was fast paced and so sweet! The characters were so smitten with each other it was so easy to believe they were in love. Some novels don’t have that chemistry but this one certainly did! Adam is such a kind guy I fell in love with him almost immediately! He’s very protective of his son and it would be hard not to like him. Faith is such a sweet girl. I love how she dealt with Danny and was so kind throughout the entire novel. I truly love this book and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cozy winter read!! No spice No language 4 stars ⭐️
I loved this book SO much! I loved Faith and her inner dialogue so much, I was fully laughing at some of the moments😂 Danny is so precious, he just melts my heart! I loved the tree cutting scene🥰😂 Jessica, you really need to take a hint👀 Definitely recommend you check this one out this holiday season❤️
Quotes: “Life is too short to spend any of it hating yourself.” "I really shouldn't have stayed up so late, even if the enemies just became lovers in my novel. Today, I think my current reading addiction and I were enemies."
❄️Single dad 🎄Hidden identity ❄️Christmas Season 🎄Introvert/Extrovert ❄️Anxiety Rep 🎄Small Town
DNF at 28% I was not enjoying this at all. The writing is subpar, making it hard to like the characters (we get that Danny is neurodiverse, why does it have to be his only character trait? If Adam hates being late so much, why is he late to literally everything he does?) and the relationship development makes no sense (they have one “bad” meeting, go out for “apology pie”, and then go hunting for Christmas trees together- and now all of a sudden Adam is Faith’s source of “peace and comfort”?). It just left me with much to be desired. I received a free e-book copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was so delightful! I loved Faith and Adam so much. Danny was absolutely adorable. I loved the connection Faith had with Danny. Adam was such a good dad to Danny, he was patient and worked so hard to work with Danny especially when he didn’t realize what neurodivergence was.
Favorite parts: -getting the Christmas tree -the dance -Faith and her dad -Danny. Just everything.
Favorite Quotes: And if I married, I wanted to marry someone like Adam. Someone who didn’t stand in the shadows on the sidelines, but who was right in the middle of it all, actively loving them as well.
“Hillsdale is my home.” She gazed at me. “You’re my home.” Somehow, in the course of a few minutes, my heart had broken and healed. The person who held it together was Faith.
Secrets in the Snow is book two but can be read as a standalone novel. -Neurodivergent rep -Anxiety -Courage to be yourself -Running from past -Teacher -Introvert -Small town -Sweet romance -Slow burn -Single dad Kiri has a way of writing interesting people with unique life experiences and then throwing them together. A sweet and complicated romance blossoms. I really enjoyed how Faith and Adam figured out who they really are separately and then together. Adorable.
TW/CW: sweet kisses, bone break, mental health, life with neurodivergent child, life with anxiety.
