I’ve known Perrin Corbett for years. I’ve wanted her nearly as long. It’s a secret I’ve kept buried deep, knowing she’ll never be mine. Her visits to my hometown are the sweetest form of torture. Seeing her, being near her, so close, yet never close enough. But for her, the place I love, where my siblings and I have built our business and our lives, is anything but home sweet home. Her favorite thing about it has always been seeing it in her rearview mirror.
Now, after years of staying away, she’s back. Only this time she seems set to cut ties for good. It might be my one final chance to show her we could have something, and the what ifs are driving me crazy.
What if she knew there was more than just bad memories for her here? What if I didn’t have to watch the only woman I’ve ever loved walk away again?
What if I gave her a reason to stay, even as someone, or something, seems hell-bent on convincing her to go?
Claiming Pixie is a steamy, slow burn, contemporary romance. It is book 3 in Kristyn DeMaster’s Blueprint for Love series about the Barons, family by blood and by choice, building their dreams one at a time while discovering there’s no blueprint for love. Claiming Pixie has no cheating, no cliffhanger, all the feels, and a guaranteed HEA. The story is told in dual POV and, while part of a series, can be fully enjoyed as a stand-alone.
Kristyn DeMaster is a contemporary romance author. She writes everyday heroes and heroines who are finding their way to once-in-a-lifetime love through all of life’s up and downs. She’s a true believer in happily-ever-after and is living hers with her very own romance hero and their fur babies in the American Midwest.
This is my first book by Kristyn DeMaster and I really enjoyed it. I admit I’m a big fan of the “he falls first” trope, and this story didn’t disappoint. Levi had been in love with Pixie for years and, when she returned home for a visit, he recognized that it was his last chance with her. The author had a good writing style and I liked the touch of mystery that was added to the story. Levi and Pixie were both likable characters and I was cheering for them to find their happy ever after together. Recommended.

"Claiming Pixie" is a heartfelt, steamy slow-burn romance that hits all the right notes. Perrin Corbett never saw her hometown as home, but returning forces her to face old wounds—and the man who’s always loved her from afar. Baron is the perfect blend of patient, devoted, and swoon-worthy, determined to show her that love and belonging can be found right where she least expects it.
Kristyn DeMaster balances sizzling chemistry with genuine emotional depth, making Perrin’s journey of healing and choice feel authentic and compelling. The dual POV adds richness, letting us experience both Perrin’s doubts and Baron’s unwavering devotion.
With no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA, "Claiming Pixie" is a tender, feel-good romance that will make fans of small-town love stories smile and swoon.
Whether you’ve been following the Barons from the beginning or are jumping in fresh, this book will sweep you up in all the feels.

This is the third book in the Blueprint for Love series but can easily be read as a standalone. I didn’t realize it was part of a series when I read it and didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I can’t wait to go back and read the first two! Perrin Corbett has long escaped her hometown, the place that knew her as Pixie, and tried to move on with her live. After a long legal battle with her sister, she finally has possession of the home her aunt left for her. Upon her return, she accidently calls the one person she has never forgotten. Levi comes to her rescue and is determined to support her in an way she can. Can they fight the attraction between them? They can find answers to the oddities the old house brings? Will Pixie leave her life behind and start anew is her childhood home? I could not put this book down. It is a great read with a HEA. Highly recommend!
This is the third book in this series, and I have been fortunate to receive the ARCs of all three from Hidden Gems. This is the story of Perrin or Pixie, who has just inherited her Aunt Monica’s house in Lark, Kentucky. Pixie spent time in Lark when she was younger and with the neighbors, the Baron family. Although she doesn’t know what to do with the house, from the time she gets there, she has Levi Baron and his family helping her. Levi is the head of the family and their business, which is renovations and property management. He also has had feelings for Pixie from years ago and is more than happy to help her with renovations for the house. Their relationship builds as they work together on the house and look to see what the future might hold for both the property and Pixie.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Perrin, aka Pixie, and Levi have known each other for years. Levi has feelings for Pixie, but he has not told her because Pixie blows in and out of town. Pixie has returned after being away for years, but this time she is not staying, nor will she be returning. Levi realizes it is his last shot to show Pixie how much he loves her. I liked Levi more than I liked Pixie. I was rooting for him, hoping Pixie would give him a shot. Will Pixie realize that Levi is perfect for her, or will she run away from the bad memories that this town reminds her of?
I absolutely love this family and I love every opportunity to come back and spend time with them. I was really starting to worry that Levi and Pixie were not going to sort themselves out! Spoiler alert - they did! Seeing them fall deeper for each other was beautiful. Solving the mystery of the intruder at Aunt Monica’s was shocking. Love love love!! Highly recommend! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

This is the 3rd book in the Blueprint for Love series by Kristyn DeMaster and this is Perrin (aka Pixie) Corbett and Levi Baron's story. They have known each other for years. What she didn't know was that Levi has carried a torch for her for years and now she's back after inheriting her Aunt Monica’s house in Lark, Kentucky. She gets in touch with Levi and he and his family's company help her to renovate the house. Will he get his chance? This is a great book filled with heartfelt episodes that had me connecting with Pixie and Levi. He has loved her for the longest and never explored a relationship with her. Now that she is back it may be his last chance. Incidents happening along with bad memories will Levi be able to persuade Pixie to stay and give their love a chance. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Perrin has been fighting her sister for a very long time to get the house that was given to her. Finally she gets it and it needs work. Levi her ex owns a construction company and still has feelings for her. Will they get a second chance or will she go back to the life she already has. Change is hard but with the right person it is easier than you think. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I really enjoyed Pixie and Levi. Timing is everything. Pixie had history in this small town where she used to summer with her Aunt, namely the love of her life, Levi. Pixie was the one who got away for Levi. Well written romance with suspense and drama alongside their love story. Hot spice as well. Just all around good one.

He has wanted her for so long but it seemed all she wanted was to get away from town. He has now decided it is time to take the bull by the horn and try to get her to be his. He will do everything he can to see if he can get the girl at long last. See if he succeeds I received an advance copy from hidden gems and a great tale
Likeable characters and an entertaining storyline made for a five star read. Secrets and suspense throughout the book. Detailed scenes. Main characters butted heads at times and their journey together wasn't without roadblocks. Loved this book.
This was a great book. I fell in love with all the characters, especially Levi and Pixie. The Baron family is amazing and I want more. I am looking forward to the next book.
Very good - part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. This is the first I have read by this author and in this series. I will go back and read the first two.
This was a very good read. Levi and Pixie made a lovely couple. Would love to read more in this series. I received a copy from Booksirens and leave this review voluntarily.
