Trapped beneath the ice. Hunted from above. When a long-lost research vessel is discovered entombed beneath the Arctic ice, Peter Black is called into the shadows by the ship’s enigmatic billionaire owner. Aboard the icebreaker Ithaca, he joins a volatile crew bound for the wreck—each with secrets, and one with a deadly agenda.
Below the ice lies the Orpheus, a sunken tomb that was never meant to be found. What Peter’s team uncovers is no ordinary wreck, but the site of something far more sinister—something that should have stayed buried.
As betrayals fracture the mission and a phantom vessel closes in, Peter must navigate not just the crushing depths, but the looming specter of global catastrophe.
The eleventh Peter Black novel is a descent into terror, treachery, and the cost of redemption. Perfect for fans of Flynn, Greaney, Carr, and Thor.

Although this book is similar to what others in the Peter Black series the plot seems sinister a world pandemic with covid19 and mega drug companies becoming rich under their lustful greed is mirrored in the billionaire Vassey. His corporate greed is very similar to Pfizer, and although I understand the ending I dislike the way this book ended.
Peter Black is one of my favorite characters and this book is another good one. The authors keep the action moving, and the plot takes interesting twists and turns to keep the reader engaged.
Peter takes on a billionaire who wants to rule the world. He has connections high up in two world powers and uses one to get what he wants. Can Peter stop him.
Great action packed book. excellent storyline and the outcome was perfect. I felt cold reading this whole book, but there was a warmth at the end. Peter Black did it again and I really enjoyed reading this book.
Started out ok. Built a story line that made some sense. Then it became really stupid with lots of impossible scenarios. Also the long drawn out fight scenes get really old. I just skip through them. I was disappointed.
