I'm trying to think of a reason not to give this 5 stars, and I can't. I laughed, I cried, my heart gushed at how sweet and wholesome so much of this was, and I just loved it. Nothing else to say, a perfect read.

Mutual feelings!!!!! But Minato’s anxiety about their age gap is killing it for me. I understand being anxious but damn, it’s been 6 volumes already. Just be together and love each other!!!!!

We’ve made it to Book Six and I love this series.

What can I say? I like that Shin is a quiet, good guy and good big brother that looses his head for Minato-san. I like that Minato-san clearly enjoys Shin’s company and has his own fraught relationship past to deal with, but also is clear that Shin is underage. I like the addition of Shin’s siblings, Asuka and his hopeful boo Shuu-sensei.

After their big fight in Volume Five, our boys are mending fences and Shin turns eighteen. Not trying to spoil anything but there’s a big step forward. I was surprised it actually happened. I was thinking they were going to draw things out longer. I’m glad Shin and Minato-san are moving forward but not rushing into anything. Being friends is foundational to their relationship and that’s super important.

I like the additional side stories from the original author. The one in this issue stood out to me because Minato-san asks Shin about his sexuality. Book Six and we all assumed Shin was either gay or bi. I’m intrigued by Shin’s response and I wonder if I would be who I am if I met my person before I dated other people or were exposed to people and media that was so heavily favored towards heterosexuality. Just something to think about since I quit dating!

Looking forward to Book Seven!

Well, the age gap isn't as huge of an issue after Shin's birthday in this volume as he's now of legal age. It's amusing how Minato still insists that he must actually graduate first before they can have any relationship other than just friends, though that also helps with the adult mentality and makes it less questionable when they finally go talk to the family since school will be out. Minato needs to stop scaring everyone though; and what on earth was Shuu about to tell Minato before he passed out? The workout bit at the end is a big tease, but also hilarious. Something hints that isn't the announcement Shin was hoping Minato would make, but it may have worked out in his favor anyway given how absent minded Minato can be at times. While the afterwords indicates that there will be another volume following this one to look forward to with the multiple relationships still in limbo, there is no news yet on when it will be available in English (it looks like the Japanese release was on 5/27/26, so it's really new still and will likely take awhile). May want to revisit notes at least if not the actual series when it comes out as a refresher.

Review to be adjusted once series is complete.

Overwhelmed by his office job, Akira takes over his grandfather's laundromat where he interacts with various customers from around the neighbourhood. Shin is a high schooler who quickly becomes a regular, although he seems to be coming over more for Akira than actual laundry service.

I typically like age gap stories as long as they are handled well. I'd like to think that this one does as Shin is the initiator and Akira keeps pushing back and explains that they can't be together due to their age gap. I do think this one has a fairly large age gap and I can definitely see this as a reason why some people wouldn't want to read it. Akira is 30 and Shin is 17, I think the same story could have been told with a smaller age gap. That being said, the way Akira is drawn, he barely looks older than Shin. So, if you generally don't like age gap stories, this one probably isn't for you. If you do like them when well done, this is probably a good pick.

It’s a bit of a conflicting feelings for me, even though I personally like it with how easy going this manga is, it tends to feel repetitive on how the story progresses, yet because of those repetition I found myself more interested and immersed? It’s something that I personally enjoy and like yet It just felt a bit disappointing on how this beautifully crafted world are well… repetitive.

The story itself is good though, i’m just wondering what the author took too be able to fit all of this complex and to be honest sensitive matter into this 6 volume serialization, like girl yes please tell me ur dealer😭😭

But yeah back again, seeing that this series is still ongoing??? at least that’s what I know of… I have a really high expectation and hopes for this series to blossom more.

I was relieved that they allowed some time to pass between where the previous volume left off and where this one picks up; some things definitely need time and distance just as much as a heartfelt apology. As he approaches his 18th birthday, Shin continues to be obsessed with Minato. We also get some backstory as to why Minato is reluctant to pursue a relationship (besides the age difference).

AHHHHHHGHHGHHHHHGGGG

anyway, loved the progression in this, thankfully Shin realised he went too far. They talked it out. Shin is still as persistent as ever tho but now we are getting closer to Shin’s birthday. And when he’s 18 he wants an answer from Minato. When he turnes 18 it gets interesting, they have to figure out what to do now.

Spoiler!!!!!
This volume starts just after Shin being really pushy in Tokyo and Minato sending him away. In the beginning Shin thinks Minato doesn’t want to see him anymore. Eventually they make up.

In Tokyo they walked into an ex of minato, you also get a flashback of them, that guy was a big red flag if you ask me. He basically slept with minato just to say that maybe if he was a woman it would work out…

Anyway back to Shin and Minato making up. After all that Shin says that he really wants to be Minato’s boyfriend and that he’ll ask Minato when he turnes 18. When he actually turnes 18 he does ask. Minato cant really say no but he doesn’t say yes completely. Minato says that he wants to wait till Shin graduates. Shin agrees but is still trying to get Minato to hug of touch him. Minato keeps dodging Shin again.

In the end Minato wants” to meet Shin’s parents. The volume ends in front of the door of the parents of Shin.
