It looks like Reinhardt finally get her revenge against Michel and his family,and she also manages to get together with Wilhelm.

There’s problems on the horizon though,because an old face everyone thought was gone might be making an appearance soon.

I ended up skimming through 90% of this volume. The subterfuge plot was just too long and poorly done. You could have cut half to 2/3 of it and it would be better paced it just was full of too much unnecessary meandering. Part of that was the author couldn’t seem to be able to decide if they wanted us to be fooled by the subterfuge or let us in on it, so did a sloppy attempt at both which only served to muddy the narrative and piss me off. I normally *love* political subterfuge in my fantasy, but this was so badly done that I stopped trying to even put up with it by the halfway mark. It’s a good thing I knew this was a relatively small arc in the overall story because if this had dragged on longer than a single volume I might have dropped the series.

Wtf?! Was ist hier alles passiert?
Und das Rheyna und Wilhelm jetzt doch so schnell zueinander finden...😳🫢. Aber so richtig kann ich mich nicht darüber freuen. Mittlerweile habe ich bei Wilhelm echt ein schlechtes Gefühl 🙈. Vor allem nach dem Cliffhanger am Ende

OMG what a cliffhanger! I honestly thought this would be the last volume with how the story was wrapping up and the loose ends getting taken care of... But the sudden twist and promise the cliffhanger left ... I'm shocked and tormented! 😫

The volume acted like the story was wrapping up and then took a slight left turn at the end. I'm honestly not sure how much more I'll keep u with this, especially if what I think happened, happened.
