Geger Tentang Suatu Wilayah di Kinki belum hilang, teman saya merekomendasikan satu lagi buku tentang, ehm, desa-desa Jepang yang permai. Bohong, deng.

Lho, jadi mereka nggak ngapa-ngapain?

My reviews are my own. If you liked this book or not, I respect your opinion.  This is merely my opinion, so let's keep it courteous. My review is honest and voluntary.

The book is not awful, but it feels disjointed. The idea was good, but how it was developed makes no sense. These 2 MCs go to investigate "special" occurrences, but they don't solve anything, so what is the point for the agency they work with? It reminds me of other novels/manga/anime, so at the end it feels generic and repetitive, stories we have heard/read before. The only reason I would continue a series like this was if I developed a rapport with the MCs, but in this case, I felt I didn't care for whatever happened to them. Therefore, I will be dropping the series.

On to my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!

While not the best book on the subject I've read, this tale of strange, forgotten gods and the terrible things that happen to those who forget them is fascinating. I'm not sure I'd read more of this series, but it does make a good case for not meddling in the divine.
