The utopian land of Rhumia has descended into corruption and chaos under the hand of a dark tyrant. A descendant from Rhumen, a man turned god, now holds the country by its throat and will do whatever it takes to see the rest of the world within her grasp. The demigod heir to the throne, Rhuminus, soon discovers his mother's treachery and lies, forcing him to attack, but his failure causes his banishment. In his aimless travels, he is forced to discover himself, the way of the world, and the true nature of the human race. The gods themselves protect him, until he gathers the wisdom and courage to do what is needed to protect the world. As his mother and brainwashed brother begin their campaign to conquer the world, the banished prince must decide whether to face the unconquerable Empress and indubitably die, or to spend his remaining years hiding.
