Born and raised around Houston, Jessica is a self proclaimed caffeine addict, connoisseur of inexpensive wine, and the worst driver in the state of Texas. In addition to being all of these things, she’s first and foremost a wife and mom. Growing up, she shared her mom and grandmother’s love of reading. But where they leaned toward murder mysteries, Jessica was obsessed with all things romance. When she’s not nose deep in her next manuscript, you can usually find her with her kindle in hand.

This wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. It needed another edit, more plot and character development, and less juvenile dialogue and behavior.
What I liked: 1) There were definitely some funny parts. 2) The dual povs. 3) Trevor, the H, changed his manwhoring ways once he realized he wanted to be with the h, and it was way before she got on board with a relationship with him. He stayed faithful to her and didn't try to get over her by sleeping with someone else. 4) No one used anyone else to make their SO jealous. 5) The h was able to resist the H for a while even though he was drool worthy.
What I didn't like: 1) Everyone behaved and spoke like they were still in high school. Too many OTT scenes reminded me just how much I don't like this series. Everyone in their group of friends is so childish. 2) There wasn't enough character development. So much was going on with Trevor's family, but none of it was really explored. 3) Lots of telling not showing. .
Out of the first three books in the series, this is, by far the best one. I love Trevor and the fact that he has been in love with Lizzy since he's meet her. I love Lizzy and her crazy family.
First off I need to say thank you to InkSlinger PR and the author, Jessica Prince for providing me an ARC of Pushing the Boundaries in return for an honest review. Also I would like to thank InkSlinger PR for introducing me to this author. She is a new one on me and I am glad I found her through them.
As this story unfolds we meet Lizzy and her bff Trevor. Unlikely friendship? No, he is a good guy trying to look out for the one girl in this town that he is in love with even if she doesn’t see it. But he is a smart boy… he has a plan. What do you do to make someone notice you in that way? You take them to Vegas of course! Duh. Though its not really his trip. they are all going to Vegas for Jeremy and Savannah’s wedding. This just plays right into what Trevor had in mind for this weekend. “Operation Get-Lizzy-to-fall-in-love-with-me”. (As Trevor calls it)
And wouldn’t you know Trevor accomplished a few things while in Vegas. he watched his friends get married, he partied and he married Lizzy. Talk about a confuse gal when she woke up in a honeymoon suite with a solitaire on her finger and a very naked Trevor under the covers with her. (dies laughing hard) But you know they say paybacks a bitch right… her reaction to that news was… to puke in his lap. Yep bastard deserved that. (snorts) Then she through a bitch fit. Tears, hysteria and a mind full of oh god oh god oh god moments.
But as time passes things go from rocky, to maybe okay to are you fucking kidding me back to this will okay. Trevor wants this to work. I mean is his dream come true. He is married to the love of his life but he knows its too early to tell her that. He doesn’t want to scare her off. As time passes and even though they fight.. as only they can they grow closer. Lizzy still isn’t sure about all of this… so in her mind - where she spends way too much time - she decides to try and seduce Trevor. If he has sex with her he’ll have his fill of her and move on. Well… that sorta backfires on her. Not only does he pin her to the wall, but he says he’s wanted this for so long. But as with all things surrounding them it doesn’t go the way she thought it would. No sex… yet.
The thing between Lizzy and Trevor -love, lust, yearning - or whatever you wanna call it starts to get to them both. The more time Lizzy spends with him the more she falls for him. He family loves him, he loves her family. Its endearing. When Trevor's father Carlisle calls him and talks down to him -as only he can- he freaks. As usual Lizzy is right there for him. So his family wants to come for dinner.. meet her. She's not looking forward to it, not after what Lue told her about Trev’s dad being an asshole but she will for him. The day comes and Carlisle literally calls when he is an hour from them to say they are coming. Trevor freaks out but its Lizzy who thinks quick. When Trevor arrives home the house if full of his family. Not only are his father, mother and bitch sister there but so are Lizzy’s mom and dad, Nana, Pop Pop and an aunt or two. His family, her family has his back.
The dinner isn't a hot. Carlisle and his stupid sister talk bad about him, the dinner and finally Lizzy has had enough of their shit. She stand up, stares Carlisle down and demands they get the fuck out. (laughs hard) Of course her mom and nana are right there with her. Pride showing all around her. Even for Trevor. It was exciting seeing his wife taking up for him. Showing their solidarity. (To me that showed just how much he mean to her, even as her best friend. He did not deserve to be talked down to or belittled in his home. And having her take charge was awesome! Gotta love a hot headed Texan. We take up for who and what is ours! lol)
Since the first time Lizzy gave herself fully to Trevor -and he of course rocked her world - she has fallen more into the mind set that she wants him but he deserves better or more. But she fails to see they are perfect together.
It isn’t until his ex… whore Marissa shows up that things take a turn for the worse. I mean there really is only one thing she wants. That is to get Trevor to come home to Louisiana and take over the family business. Yeah, not happening. After weeks of Trevor ignoring her calls and texts she shows up at his shop. Marissa… -the whore- doesn't like the word no. Bitch must never hear it… but he tells her to get out he doesn't want to hear it. He doesn’t care. When Marissa tells him that his dads business is going down he gets it. Her faking attraction to him, wanting to be with him is all to get his money. Like that was gonna happen. (We also learn Marissa is fucking Carlisle and has been for years. She is delusional that Carlisle will leave his wife for her and that he loves her. Right! Hello captain dumbass.)
Trevor decides to not say anything to Lizzy about Marissa… why churn the waters on a still day. It isn't until a few days later when Marissa decides to take it up a notch. How you ask? Well… she is a triflin’ whore so she tracks down Lizzy at her salon under the guise of getting a manicure. As Lizzy tries to be friendly Marissa lays it on thick. Liz can tell there is something off with her but it isn’t until Marissa starts talking about her fiance only being here a short while because he is moving back to Louisiana with her. Just going on and on until Lizzy snaps. Only one person in town she could be talking about. Lizzy in a hurricane of emotions runs out of the Salon and walks to the tattoo shop. What should have been a discussion turned into anything but… that isn’t what happened.
Lizzy being the hot tempered redhead with a fireball of a temper storms in and starts yelling at him. Not giving Trevor a minute to even try to explain himself. That was like a slap to the face for him. Even the only woman he loved didn’t have faith in him. He could take that from anyone else -his family, his father especially- but from her it broke something inside him. His features dropped as did his voice when he told her he wanted a divorce. It was that word that slapped Lizzy out of tantrum. But by then it was too late. How can your whole world end in one second? With one word… This is how. Trevor moved out. Came home, got his clothes, arguing with her before he grabbed his dog and left. When he walked away, walking away from her she was crushed. Heart broken.
After a week -five full days- of calling in sick to work her friend and coworker Kenzie called in her friends. Kenzie called Savannah and she called in the troops. No need to let her slide through the days all alone. This was going no where. They broke into her house -with a key of course- and when they walked in they find her sitting in Trevors ugly, smelly ass barcolounger eating Ben and Jerry’s by the spoonful. The girls were so not having this. Not only did Lizzy look awful from a week of crying but she smelled. Bad. They pulled her out of her funk and made her shower.
There had to be a plan to get Lizzy and Trevor back together. This was bad. Sad thing was he was just as bad off as she was. Thanks to the scheming on part of Emmy there was a plan set in motion. Would it work? Or was it too late? Could Trevor ever forgive her for not having the faith in him that he deserves? There were so many things stacked up against her. Stacked against them.
This is a jumbled mix of feels to say the least. My God. I can’t say enough of how I loved this novel! (Fist Pumps) Romance is still a new genre for me. But I love this is NOT one of the lovey dovey falling over themselves type of novel. From page one its a roller coaster of ups and downs. Real emotions was on every page. We get to feel what they are feeling with each of them. The pain they feel is so real. With this being a new author for me, and a new series I and surprised to have enjoyed it so much. In the romance field that is. Simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Trevor has been in love with Lizzy since right after he met her. The problem is before they met he had a bit of a reputation for being a player and now Lizzy thinks he still is, even though he has been with no one. Trevor is a man who takes opportunities as they arise and a weekend in Vegas ends up with a very drunk Lizzy, an unexpected wedding and his chance to have Lizzy in his arms. Of course things don't always go as planned as Lizzy is worried he will lose interest and is reluctant to take the next step into marriage. Trevor though plans to earn her trust but he also has issues with his past that are quietly surfacing and he will need Lizzy by his side to get through them.
This was good, Trevor is a bit of a flibbertyjibbet though and his maturity level was wearing at times. Lizzy I liked but I did not get where the insecurities she had stemmed from. I though overall this was a fun read and had several laugh out loud moments.
Overall this was a fun book, reminded me a little of R.L Mathewson’s Neighbor from Hell series, at least when it came to the character of Trevor.
After moving to a small town, Trevor is finding out that living in a small-town has its advantages and its disadvantages – with his initial activities having spread across the town and painting him as ladies’ man, one who does not do long-term, so despite the fact that he is totally gone for Lizzy, Lizzy has neatly placed him in the just friends category, refusing to do anything to risk the friendship that has become so important to her.
Lizzy and Trevor are a good fit, I enjoyed their interactions.
Like the other books it did need a little more editing, but still by far the best book in the series.
Acquired via kindle unlimited. If the price goes down will certainly purchase.
3.5 stars Trevor and Lizzy are best friends. They have been since he moved to town. The thing is, Lizzy and Trevor have some feelings for each other. Lizzy won't make a move because Trevor was somewhat of a pig when he first got to town and hooked up with a lot of women. Now Lizzy doesn't want to be just another one night stand. So she keeps her feelings to herself and stays really close friends with Trevor. Trevor is doing anything in his power to keep other men away from Lizzy. He is a constantly around, which is adorable on his part. Lizzy must really be trying a blind eye to Trevor's charms, cause I fell for it right away!
The gangs (including Lizzy and Trevor) all heads to Vegas for a wedding. While they are there, drunk and crazy, Trevor and Lizzy get married with the help and encouragement of their friends. Lizzy thinks it was all done in good fun, but Trevor takes it more seriously. Knowing this is his chance with Lizzy, he plows full steam ahead with winning her over.
The marriage is hilarious and crazy at best. The couple really does have feelings for each other, but since both have trust issues, there are up and downs. I must say, this book had me laughing a lot. It was funny and quirky. I have read Jessica Prince's other books in this series and I am a fan.
I really enjoyed this book. Trevor was alpha-dorkable. I liked Lizzy for the most part and her Nana was hilarious. I liked how we're immediately put into "Lizzy Pursuit" from the very beginning. Trevor was determined to make her his and was willing to play dirty to get it. There were some juvenile moments I was able to gloss over. This was mostly a light read. There was a "misunderstanding" toward the end I thought felt contrived, and it is a rare occasion that I'm glad Trevor stood up for himself and it was Lizzy who had to prove she was worthy of him. I'll definitely be reading the next one.
I wasn't sure about this book at first. The whole Vegas thing has been done. But it grew on me. I started to really get into it and I couldn't put it down.
I'm thinking Prince has been married for a long time because she nailed all of the things married women gripe about. I found myself nodding at the same time I was laughing my ass off.
I especially loved the end when Trevor stood up for himself. Lizzy was wrong. But she's also great at owning up to it.
Overall it was a fun story. I really liked it. Can't wait for more...Brett and Kenzie? Well done!
Lizzie and Trevors relationship is that of best friends. Lizzie won't allow anything else. She witnessed Trevors manwhore behaviour when he first arrived in Cloverleaf.
Trevors reputation as a ladies man ended the moment he met Lizzie. No matter how much he tried there was no budging Lizzie. She wouldn't see him as anything other than a friend.
What he needs is a plan. And here it is the cluelessness of the male species. Vegas. Friends and family. Too much to drink and Trevor now has a wife. To say Lizzie is surprised is an understatement. Poor Trevor should be guarding his balls a little more closely.
From here its a journey of OMG I cant' believe he said that or what the hell? Trevor is such a loveable guy, his manwhore ways ceased when he saw Lizzie why can't she see that? This man would do anything for her. All his life he's questioned is he good enough for anyone. And the one woman he wants to see him as more than a friend is shutting him out.
He has a plan. Well sort of. If listening to your male buddies offering advice is a plan. That alone is comedy gold.
Lizzie's in way over her head with this man. She either wants to kill him or climb him like a tree and her way with him. The attraction is not the problem. It's her doubts and wondering if when Trevor finally gets her into his bed will he want to stay?
The secondary characters are ones you can relate to. We've all got those annoying friends up in your business offering advice when it's totally not needed. But they still feel the need to shove it on you.
Super funny, SUPER SEXY! And just so engaging you can't but be swept up in the lives of the people of Cloverleaf.
Oh for the sake of it, I'll go with 4.6 stars! It was the best book of the series! I loved Lizzy and Trevor. Both were fun as hell. At the end was a bit unnecessary drama, but after a little grovel from the h ( that was a gooood grovel ) , it was resolved very fast. If you're looking for an easy, witty read - this is your book!
I have always had a love of books, from a teenager spending hours dreaming make believe at the library to a mom with a penchant for contemporary romance paperbacks to a woman in the age of the electronic gadget who devours paranormal, erotica, contemporary, new adult and any other romance I can download at a sinfully fast rate. Whether they are my beloved tattered paperbacks or in my favourites on the kindle there are a few authors who I have reread many times through the years no matter my changing tastes - two of these are Jennifer Crusie and Rachel Gibson - Jessica Prince has the same characteristics that I so adore in these two authors and 'The Picking Up the Pieces' Series has all the ingredients that make the Crusie and Gibson books so popular – friends, family, humour, chemistry and sex. Real relationships, warts and all, written with sassy wit, a warmth and realness that sometimes, since FSOG, has been sadly lacking in favour of sex with little story and juvenile writing - it must just be that dash of luck missing because Jessica Prince is still a relatively unknown hidden gem and I have no idea why.
'Pushing the Boundaries' is the third outing for the Cloverleaf gang and is in my opinion her best work to date. I enjoyed the first (Picking Up the Pieces), loved the second (Rising From the Ashes) and was impatiently waiting for this one because I have loved Trevor as a character since the beginning. From the very first page I was not only hooked, I was highlighting passages like a woman possessed, laughing out loud and receiving some very weird looks from the people around me! The pace and the laughs do not stop throughout the book, it's funny, sexy, enjoyable and leaves you with a huge smile while renaming your battery operated boyfriend from Bob to Trevor!
Trevor and Lizzy had an initial attraction when he came to town but as he sowed his oats, the manwhore, Lizzy placed him in the friend category. However he decides this just won't do as Lizzy is his One and so our story unfolds.
You all know I detest reviews telling me the whole bloody book so I don't need to read it and while I will try not to do that I can't help myself, I just have to give you a few teasers ……………………..
. Vegas . Drunken Weddings . Mr Bojangles . Merle and the Manolos . Trevor and Baby Oil with Romantic Intentions . The Tattoo . Social Media Apologies . Internet Dates . Nana
All of the above with humour, sprinkled with sex and a warm soft gooey centre.
Ms Prince shows beautifully that even with a healthy lust involved it is a deeper friendship that sustains a relationship and allows it to have a HEA, soul mates can be total opposites as long as chemistry and friendship is in the mix.
A huge part of this series is the banter and interaction between the group of friends, that familiarity of old, the abuse, sarcasm, love and support only good friends and relationships can do. It's what separates this author and series from so many others, the secondary cast are as integral to each book as the primaries and intersect at many points. I, as you can tell, adore the series and all I can say is if you miss those romances which were as much about the chemistry, tease and friendship as about the fast and furious pounding sex then this is for you, and having put the thought of Trevor pounding in my head again I may or may not be off to source more batteries………………………………
Living in a small town has it advantages, however it has it’s disadvantages too as Trevor is finding out. He has wanted Lizzy ever since he moved to Cloverleaf but his reputation of a player is holding him back. Lizzy watches her friends settle down and get married and she wants what they have. The problem is she doesn’t think she can find it in Cloverleaf. She and Trevor are close but she has never thought of him that way. While in Vegas with their friends the unexpected marriage between Lizzy and Trevor, throws Lizzy for a loop. She immediately wants to end the marriage before she loses Trevor as a friend but Trevor has other plans in mind. Will Trevor prove to Lizzy that he is everything she wants or will they lose everything including their friendship?
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Lizzy is a fiery redhead who knows what she wants. She’s a strong independent woman who doesn’t put up with crap. She values and cherishes her friendships but feels like something is missing. She knows what kind of guy she wants and that she can’t find it where she lives. Watching her friends get there happily ever after she craves that too. Lizzy tries several different ways to find Mr. Right but every guy ends up a dud. Dating has becoming frustrating for her and she loses hope she will find her Mr. Right. Her friendship with Trevor isn’t like most, they’re always there for each other and she loves having him around. They spend several nights a week hanging out together but Lizzy has never given a second thought about Trevor being anything more than just a friend. After all she knows his reputation in town.
Trevor moved to Cloverleaf after leaving the army as his best friend lived there. He also moved there to get away from the pressures from his family, bad memories and betrayal that he wanted to leave behind. Trevor knows who he is and want he wants out of live but is having a hard time getting it. He’s a headstrong alpha male who is at his wits end with the first woman he’s care about in a long time. Lizzy can’t see past his reputation he got when he first moved to town. He has done everything he can to change it but she won’t see past it. When their friends decided to get married in Vegas, Trevor takes this opportunity to show Lizzy what it would be like to be married to him. He hopes that this will finally prove to her that he has changed and that she is the only woman he wants.
This is the first novel I’ve read by Jessica Prince and I was hooked before the first chapter ended. I love the dynamic between Lizzy and Trevor. They are close to each other and their friendship is genuine as they are always there for each other. The things Trevor does to get Lizzy to notice him and what he does to help her out while she goes on endless dates to find Mr. Right, is hilarious. I fell for Trevor’s character. He truly loves Lizzy and will do anything for her. Some of the things he does is out right comical. These two end up at each other throat and how they scheme to get back at the other kept me wanting more. Jessica Prince delivered a heart warming funny story with lots of romance. I loved this book and would recommend this to any one of my fellow readers.
Before picking up Trevor & Lizzy’s book my faves were definitely Savannah & Jeremy….
In saying that, I've been looking forward to 'Pushing the Boundaries' and I'm so happy that the book smashed my expectations…. This pair have taken top spot as my fave couple.
Trevor is awesome – hot, very funny and a complete darling at times. We didn't know an awful lot about him even though we had met him in the first 2 books in the series - he's a good, loyal friend but a bit of a man-whore was the feeling!! – However there's a lot more to him than that!!
Lizzy, what a bloomin’ spitfire she is!!! Red headed with a personality and tongue to match! She is funny with it, and isn’t afraid to say it like it is… sometimes without censor!!!
Together they are funny, sarcastic, snarky and downright adorable – oh yeah, let's not forget to add smokin’ hot to that wee list!!
I didn't expect Trevor to be as engaging or endearing as he was. His determination and antics to try and ensure he held on to Lizzy were fantastic to read.
Lizzy surprised me a little, though I understood where her reservations came from and how important it was to her that she didn't lose Trevor as a friend… but damn, at times that girl needed to take off the blinkers and LOOK at what was going on around her.
Unlike ‘Picking up the Pieces' and ‘Rising from the Ashes’, this couple didn't have a personal or romantic history - they're best friends and get on so well, but there were no unsettled issues.
There were numerous laugh out loud moments and more than a couple of’ I could so smack you’ times.. but no angst or real ugly tears (and given that I cry really, really fugly, this was all good with me!!! )
The sense of family, friendship and belonging that we’ve come to expect from this series by Jessica was there and all of our fave characters were present throughout the book.
We're introduced to a new character and I'm looking forward to finding out more about them!!
The interactions between the boys, especially early in the story had me sniggering and I received more than a few strange looks on the train to work!!
Lizzy’s family are fantastic. Merle & Mr Bojangles – watch out for that pair… comedy gold right there!!!
This is another hit from Jessica and for me, the best instalment of the series to date!
I love the Cloverleaf crew and can't wait for the next book to catch up with them all again.
If you are a fan of great writing, books that feature family, friendship and a sense of belonging, that are fun reads with a healthy dose of attraction, sex and heat thrown in, then give the ‘Picking up the Pieces’ series a try. You won't be disappointed!!!
Trevor and Lizzy are my favorite couple in this series, hands down!!
Lizzy can't seem to find "the one", while everyone around her is finding theirs, and Trevor knows Lizzy is his!! Lizzy does everything in her power to keep "man whore Trevor" at arm’s length yet somehow she decides being besties with him is the solution to that problem.
The first time Trevor laid eyes on Lizzy, he knew she was “the one” for him. He had to find a way to be near her and becoming besties with her was the answer. There is a saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"… Well, it happened to them and now they were husband and wife, whether Lizzy remembers it or not.
This is Trevor's opportunity to show her how good they can be together and how much he truly loves her. Lizzy is very skeptical because she's been burned before, and because of Trevor's past; she feels she might not be enough for him and he'll split once he's through with her.
I loved how realistic Trevor and Lizzy's relationship was; the fighting, making up, throwing insults, apologizing and making up, and how the banter between them was just so fresh and realistic. I floved Trevor's term of endearment for Lizzy, "Cher", and how he made sure she knew the true feelings he had for her!!
One way I can describe Trevor and Lizzy's relationship is like oil and water. Volatile, yet they could not stay away from each other! I found myself laughing throughout the whole book, as well as swooning and getting misty eyed....
This book flowed beautifully and the other characters brought their own specialness to this amazing story. One of my favorite reads this year!! Can't wait for what else Ms. Prince has in store for us!! ~ Kara, 5 Beautiful Stars

Have you ever read a book that made you want to jump into their world and live in it? If you haven't then go ahead and buy this book because you haven't lived if you haven't felt that. And if you have well buy this book because you know how awesome it is to love a story that fiercely. For me pushing the boundaries is that kid out book. The kind you adore from page one. I found myself wanting nothing more the to surround myself with the sarcastic over the top characters in this novel. I wanted to be best friends with Lizzy. I wanted to experience all of the family craziness first hand. And good Lord did I want to do unmentionable things to Trevor. *Sigh*
But even more than I wanted to live inside this book I wanted to keep reading. I wanted this book to go on forever just so I could keep experiencing this world Jessica Prince created. The writing was flawless. The conversations and dialogue were completely realistic and ridiculously hilarious. And the characters were perfect in their own imperfect ways. It was nice too escape into a book world of hilarity. Not only were the characters hilarious but the storyline was as well.
Let me just say that this is one of those books that stick with you. Not because of some profound and deep reasoning but because of the way the book works it's way into your heart. I. Love. It. If you are reading these reviews contemplating whether or not you should one click this then stop right here scroll your happy little mouse back up the page and one click this. Trust me you'll thank me. Five stars for pushing boundaries.
This story is about Lizzy and Trevor. Trevor is Luke's best friend from the Marines that came back with Luke in book 1.
Lizzy, friends of Emmy and Savvy, the firey redhead. What a character she became, holy Christ on a cracker!! I had a girl crush on Savvy, but I might be team Emmy now.
"We like to imagine that women fight with pillows… in lingerie. You’re never supposed to go full fight club"
Trevor.is.da. man!!! This is absolutely one of my new favorite characters, ever. He's so damn funny and loyal, and did I mention funny??? I find him completely charming in that man-baby kind of way. Reminds me of all the guys I work with :p
Trevor decides to finally take things in his own hands when he sees things aren't moving beyond a platonic relationship with Emmy, but he does it "Trevor style", which means it is completely twisted and epic. Grand gestures gone wrong *cough* romance scene *cough* It will have you in stitches.
Nana is also one of my all time favorite side characters. Her and Trevor together is an absolute dee-light! I think I grinned through the whole book....almost...
Of course, in true Jessica fashion, she throws you a gut-wrencher. Through the whole thing I kept thinking, how's she going to pull us out of this?? Of course she always gives us our HEA.
This series just keeps on getting better. Now, next up, Kenzie and Brent? hmmm???? :D
I give this 4+ limitless stars ***Given ARC for my honest review***
I really enjoyed this novel from Jessica Prince! A story of best friends turned lovers? Ok, my favorite!
Lizzy is trying to fall in love- and Trevor wants it to be him! He is such a good guy, I love Trevor. He decides the only way he is going to get Lizzy to see eye to eye with him, is to get her alone when they go to Vegas for Jeremy and Savannah’s wedding weekend. And that is when he is going to make his move, to get Lizzy to fall in love with him.
Not only fall in love, as if that wasn’t enough, they end up getting married! What happens in Vegas, apparently will follow you back home. And Lizzy just wants out, Trevor obviously wants this whole thing to work in his favor.
What starts as lust, turns to love and I loved every second of it. it was super-hot, the tension- the slow build, the burn, and then finally- BAM! The characters were amazingly written, as I knew from all of Jessica's other books in this series, and the plot was so well thought out.
I loved this book, and there were so many amazing emotions I felt with each page. So many ups and downs, and damn raw emotion. I wanted more and I am glad I was granted an advanced readers copy!
I was already so in love with the 'Picking up the Pieces' series and the whole Cloverleaf gang! Jessica Prince just has a way of making you fall in love with all her characters. They are so real, so flawed, and really so relatable.Pushing the Boundaries was no different! I LOVED both Lizzy and Travis from the very first page!
This book is laugh-out-loud funny!
I love the relationship between Lizzy and Travis; they are just so perfect for each other but also both so freaking stubborn!!
"Was [it] perfect rainbows and unicorns that farted roses? Hell no. But then again, we weren't perfect either. Perfect for each other, yes. Perfect in general....yeah, not so much." This absolutely sums it up!!
My heart broke for them at times but every relationship has its ups and downs, right?
Will they get their happily ever after?? You'll just have to read and find out!
Loved this one, really loved it. It had a totally different tone to the first two books and this worked for me. I love that it wasn't an angst fest. I loved the humour - I snorted, belly laughed and about peed my pants a number of times at Trevor's antics. Getting in his head was priceless, and I don't think I will ever look at the cover of a bodice ripper again without thinking about Trevor hahaha.
The other plus for me was that for a change it was the heroine that had to grovel, and man did he ever make her work for it.
I recovered this book as a beta through Hot Tree Editing. So awesome! I laughed out loud so many times while reading this! I absolutely loved all the characters and the way the interact. I went into this not having read the previous books, I am going to snatch them up ASAP cuz I just need more of this crazy group.
I loved book one. And now I had the pleasure of reading this book 3. Love the characters and the connections to each other. Great author. I will continue to read her books. There great.
I couldn't put this book down. And I swear I was busting out laughing at every other page. This book was just wonderful. I loved everything about it. If only every marriage that started out in Vegas lasted.
Must Read. This book is funny. When a man loves a women the does the craziest thing. Even getting her drunk to get married. Then he moves in her house. Getting her to love him is another thing. But it can be done.
If you enjoy realistic romance, you will enjoy this book. She is a nail tech, he is a tattoo artist and their relationship is believable, fighting, swearing, make up sex, loving beyond what you believe could be possible. Loved this book.
Wow what a funny story. Trevor and Liz are so funny together. It kept me reading for hours and almost one sitting so I could read the funniest things they said and did. I highly recommend this book
