This book begins where the previous book left off, except with some scenes repeated, but through a different point of view. I found the torture of Noah, and some of the other characters, to be a bit depressing. I felt so bad for them, and it was a relief to me when they were finally found and saved. The arguments between Storm (tiger alpha) and his mate, Bastian, were prevalent throughout most of the story. There's something in the air that is distorting Bastien's gifts as a sensitive, which results in him misreading the thoughts and motivations of Storm. In this series, all cat shifters get two mates, so that's pretty awesome. My favorite part of the book is when Micha, Jesse, Gabriel, and Taylor, make a visit. Taylor is always so humorous and full of antics. There's a lot of mystery and intrigue going on, that hopefully will be solved by the next book. This storyline included the very first triad romance, so I'm curious to see who the next mates will be. Very riveting plot.

The Blogger Girls

This series just gets better and better and better. I was looking forward to Bastian and Storm’s story but wasn’t sure how I would like Noah being their third. I am good with a menage, but when one mate is valued above another then I have an issue…and that is what I expected here. And it happened…but it didn’t. Confused? So was I, but it really turned into another one of those amazing twists and turns that I now associate with this author.

Bastian and Storm realize they are mates at the end of book 2, Secrets, and this story picks up immediately at that point and rolls on hot and heavy from the get-go. Bastian and Storm are both huge men and both are used to being dominant. This posed a few concerns that became massive when Bastian realized that 1) Storm was lying to him, and 2) they realized that their third mate, Noah, was in captivity and in serious danger.

I was not expecting all the drama that came in the form of Bastian and Storm’s relationship. Their issues were insanely harsh, and I struggled to see how they could overcome what I saw as a huge relationship deal breaker, but Maggie Walsh is a smart woman, and her bag of tricks was full in this third installment of the Angel Pack series. All is not as it seems, and all is not futile, and all ends up beautifully, but these boys do not have it easy. Yet, when it works, it is amazing.

We get lots of face time with all our boys from the previous books, and it is always fun when these guys get together. We also start to get to see pieces of the puzzle take shape and things are really starting to heat up. There is going to a lot of explaining to do, and many wolves (and a few vampires) will have their asses handed to them. I can’t wait to see where this story goes from here, but I know it’s going to be good.

Truth by Maggie Walsh is the third book in the Angel Pack series; you really need to read this series in order. Lots of old friends show up again. The start of this book might give you some déjà Vu but, I promise this one will not disappoint. There is action, adventure, lots of politics and great mates to keep you coming back for more. We are now really getting into the game of what is going on, so there is a lot of story in this book to pay attention to.
Sebastian Angel, he and the leader of Winthrope pride are mates. Sebastian has always been an enforcer. So in this book it is a lot about him finding his way, and coming to terms with being with essentially and Alpha. How do two alpha personalities get along. They butt heads but soon find half of their problems have nothing to do with them. But the magic being transformed around them.
Storm, the leader, everything begins and starts with him. He is pretty worried about his Pride. There is a huge threat that is building. He is a fair leader and compassionate.
We get to meet another mate in this book, Noah. Noah is a creature we have not met yet in this series. Brave, kind, and loving this little man will be the glue to hold his alpha mates together.
Over all I really loved this book. We are really getting into the knitty gritty of what is going on. I feel like I cannot wait for the next book and find out how everyone handles this. I do not think Ms. Walsh can write fast enough for me. I want to read them all right now.

Definitely not as good as the first two in the series. I really liked Bastian and Noah, but I think future events in upcoming books influenced my liking of Storm during this re-read. I also hate that they never really explained some things. Still the story was good, just didn’t live up to expectations after the first two in the series.

The only reason this book is getting 4 stars is because of the editing...
