The Learning Zimbra Server Essentials is a must have system administration book. The book covers most of the daily Zimbra administration topics in a concise manner. The book not only address the seasoned system administrators but also newbies who would like to learn how Zimbra Server can be up and running.

Chapter one 'Single Server Installation' covers very in depth installation of the latest Zimbra Collaboration Suite version 8.0.3 for Ubuntu Linux. The chapter provides you with the Ubuntu server step-by-step installation links with easy to follow screenshots, a bsic network setup and configuring and managing the server using ssh. The chapter will also guide you to install pre requistes dependency software to install Zimbra collaboration suite.

A newbie Zimbra user will also learn how to setup, configure and troubleshoot DNS system using Bind and how to setup appropriate zone files and their corrospoinding zone records for lookup. Different links (Zimbra wiki, Zimbra blog, Zimbra forums) are provided by authors to study all the DNS configurations in detail. After that the chapter covers in detail installation of Zimbra Collaboration Suite release 8.0.3 step by step by providing all the screenshots in the book.
