This boxed set collects the first three Bedlam Butchers motorcycle romances:
OFF LIMITS - Lucky and Solo Lucky…isn’t. In fact, she’s considered ‘off limits’ to the Bedlam Butchers because she’s caused them nothing but bad luck in the past. As a bonus? She’s also the president’s kid sister. Single and lonely? That’s Lucky’s way of life. Now, the Eighty-Eight Henchmen are harassing her and they’re out for blood.
Solo…is. In a club where pairing up with a brother to watch your back is mandatory, Solo still hasn’t gotten over his partner’s death two years ago. The club’s pressuring him to name a second Treasurer, but he has to trust that person in bed and out. And it’s damn hard for Solo to trust.
But when he rescues Lucky from the Eighty-Eight, maybe it’s time for Solo to find a partner, and time for Lucky’s luck to turn around…
PACKING DOUBLE - Kitty, Domino, and Gemini When Kitty hears about the notorious ‘panty raid’ happening at a bar Friday night, she heads in looking for a good time with no strings attached. She might want to get laid, but she does not want to be part of any motorcycle club’s lifestyle. She’s not good with following directions or taking orders, and she’s been told that’s what an old lady does.
But when she meets Gemini and Domino, everything changes. The dual presidents of the Bedlam Butchers, they stake their claim on Kitty and decide to show her what the club lifestyle is really about: riding free, living on the edge, and letting them show her just how good being claimed by two men can be. Kitty might like being the center of their attentions, but when her life takes a dangerous turn, she has to decide who to trust both in bed and out of it.
DOUBLE TROUBLE: Shy, Beast, and Muscle In the world of motorcycle clubs, a snitch is a dead man. And the Bedlam Butchers have a snitch who’s intent on taking down one of the newest members of their club.
Shy knows just who the snitch is, too–it’s her older brother. But she can’t do anything about it, because Shy’s got no one to protect her. If she tells what she knows, her brother’s going to sell her out to his new, dangerous buddies. If she keeps quiet, she’s still at risk from the Butchers. She needs someone at her back. Enforcers Muscle and Beast are the perfect solution… if she has the guts to make a play.
Beast’s big hulking form and a face only a mother could love drives most women away. Muscle’s pretty as could be, but he’s got a nasty attitude and a brick wall around his heart. No one wants to get in their bed…which means they’re perfect for Shy’s needs. When the three get together, it’s obvious that these men need Shy just as much as she needs them. And now she wants to stay for entirely different reasons than just safety.
But what’s going to happen when they find out Shy has been withholding information?

Ruby Dixon is an author of Science Fiction Romance. She likes fated mates, baby-filled epilogues, and cinnamon roll heroes. She also likes to write biographies of herself in the third person, because it feels more important that way.
Ruby also loves coffee and dirty books and will probably be a cat lady at some point. :)
I am a huge fan of the Ice Planet Barbarians series. I am a huge fan of Ruby Dixon. That being said, I expected more out of this. Even judging it on looser novella standards.
The Bedlam Butchers are not your typical MC. They always ride with a partner. They have 2 people for each office, and they like to tag team in their relationships. Why?? That is a good a question. We got a bit of the history in the second story, Packing Double. But not any real back story. I need a back story. I have a hard time believing a slightly illegal motorcycle club found 40 hot members that live for some M/M/F action. This was only proven more by the fact that the first story, Off Limits, was about a patched member who didn't want a ride partner. And he didn't want to share his girl, Lucky.
The world building needs some consistency, and the back story needs to be fully developed. It is impacting the over all plots for these novellas. Luckily, Double Trouble was a huge improvement over the first two novellas in this collection. I LOVED the Muscle and Beast combo. They were the first ride partners that I could understand why they were partners, and why they would choose to be a Butcher. They are the clubs enforcers. So it is no surprise when Shy, fearing for her life, decided to try and snag them at the recent panty raid.
I ended these three unsure if, and when, I would continue on with the Bedlam Butchers story.
I'm a paranormal romance reader but every once in a while I need something that involves threesomes and MC...and this series seriously satisfies that craving! Quick, great story building and super steamy stories.
second time reading this series: really hard to rate these books, on the one hand they're some of my fav mc books, BUT and its a bit BUT. there is absolutely no depth to the books, they're shallow and superficial and its a real shame cos the foundation is all there. the characters are ready and waiting to be developed, the potential of story lines and the sex is hot, but you know we like more than just hot sex all the time and virtually no story. No plot, no anything. so bloody frustrating!!! I've read RD other barbarian series and we get a lot more plot there, but these books feel like a fifth complete. like oh i'll write a biker series!!! and she did and it could have been 5 stars all the way!!!
i really want to give these a 1 star for the sheer lack of story but i love the books so bloody much esp the whole double everything, there's so much there she could have developed and chose not to. bloody waste. i dont even know i can be bothered to read the rest of the series. cos other than the menage sex scenes there's pretty much nothing else to the stories!
So, these books are the first 3 books of Ruby Dixon's Bedlam Butchers MC series. I think it was a smart idea for her to box them all up, since they all take place at about the same time, all within the same couple of weeks. You get different POVs of the some of the same events, which is always interesting.
Of the three books in this set, my favorite is the one with Beast, Muscle, and Shy. I really like those guys and I think Shy is a lot tougher than she thinks that she is. I'm glad that there are a couple of other books for this triad. I'm betting that Ruby heard from a lot of people that they liked them. I wouldn't mind some new stories from this particular world. I gotta say, I'm always up for reading some hot menage stories. All the menage in this volume are MFM, so no one is crossing any streams.
Great books. Not horribly dark. Pretty quick reads. Lots of filthy, obscene sex. Lots of romance.
I keep exploring motorcycle club books to see if I really am going to hate all of them. Plus, I was all out of Ruby Dixon books to read except for these.
This is a box set containing three short stories about members of the Bedlam Butchers motorcycle club, who all do things in pairs... mostly so we can have hot smexy menage times. It's never really explained why, except... Afghanistan. But I went with it. I also liked the first one, featuring Lucky and Solo.
Any one of those stories could have been expanded into something longer. But I loved how gone the guys were on their women, and how nobody was going to hold any of those girls back. This isn't the kind of book where the heroines trade one bad situation for another less bad one, but at least the hero's in it.
I've got the second collection of Bedlam Butchers stories here, and I'd probably read more in this universe, even if I'm still not entirely sold on MC romances as a genre.
The standout was the last story in the collection, featuring Shy, Muscle and Beast.
These three novellas were quick and dirty. It was easy to pick up Dixon's MC world. Despite the short length of each book, they felt "long enough" to enjoy the characters building relationships. That said, on the down side, the three stories overlap in time. That was okay, but of course things seemed too good too fast, and the public sex by some of the characters seemed a bit far fetched. I'm okay with authors taking some liberties with their story lines but some of this was too "far out." The sex is hot and I love MC books so there's that. I may try some of the other series associated with this one like Death Lords.
A big fan of the biker or most gang lifestyle books. But love author so am reading her books because I gave her Ice series very high marks. Based review on all three. First two are not my cup of tea, if you like the genre, you’ll rate them higher then I. The last thought is wonderfully done. Would have given it a four. Love all the characters and how she dealt with the siblings love, hate issues was well done. It showed the issues of dis functionality
Notes: I'm not going to do an individual review to each book because they were fairly short and to the point.
My overall feeling is amazement. I really liked all the books, although not all the characters. The first and third books were the best, especially the third. The second book was alright, different but not in a bad way.
I'm excited to read more of this series, my favorite guilty pleasure. 😎
I usually don't like novellas because I'm greedy and I always want more. I liked that this came as a set. I could just keep on reading to the next book without pause. The stories were all connected, but had different characters stories and perspectives. That definitely kept me interested. I get bored easily, so this had my full attention. It was sexy and exciting. Definitely enjoyable!
There is just something about Ruby Dixon's writing that is just addicting. The Bedlam Butchers are all about twos and it is a series fun ride. Strongly suggest all of these quick reads if you like steamy novels with a good little plot. I read the whole series in order by AUTHOR only and loved it. Texas Hugs and Happy Reading!!
There’s a lot to love about these three novellas — well drawn characters, sexy bikers, and lots of steamy scenes. I enjoyed reading Lucky's, Kitty's, and Cheyenne's stories as they connect with their tough but sweet bikers. There's even a bit of intrigue although the focus is on relationships. Well done, Ruby.
I really liked these books. I really wish she they had been longer. I would love to have more of a back story on all of the characters. I can't wait to start the next book in the series.
I can hardly catch my breath. This was a very emotional story. I found myself crying at the Shy story. But, Ruby always pulls out a happily ever after at the end. Don't miss this.
Three short stories so there isn’t a whole lot of development and the ‘love connections’ happen pretty quick (less than a week). Ménage romance isn’t my cup of tea but I like this author so I gave it a go. If you like this kind of read then you might like this.
Ni siquiera pude pasar los primeros capítulos sin sentir vergüenza por la estupidez de lo que estaban haciendo los personajes. Demasiado plano y muy poco realista. No había química y la historia era insulsa.
I'm not sure if trilogy is the right word for this three book set. But it was very fiesty and so much fun. I listened to the audio books and the narration was great. I really enjoyed these first 3 in the Bedlam Butchers series. I'm off to read more.
HOT HOT HOT!!!!! Really sexy but with a good story this is three books and a very easy read. Not dark like some books and the sex what can I say🤐🤐🤐 read it yourself
Theses three stories are all a fast sexy trip to biker land. They are short but great reads that I recommend for when you don't have time for a long story.
I love Ruby Dixon, but this series is not for me. I'm not fond of MC books so that's probably my issue. I'm so happy she went on to write about aliens and left this series in the past.
