This is such a great prequel to The Guild web series, I've read it again in preparation for The Guild: Knights of Good and Season 6.

It's basically The Guild season 0, revealing why Codex starting playing The Game, how she met up with her future guildees, and the formation of the Knights of Good guild. It's got great art that closely resembles the characters, character development, and plenty of geeky humor with the same quirky characters as the show. I especially liked the tie-ins with things mentioned in the series, such as Clara going into labor while playing The Game, Codex setting her bi-curious bf's cello on fire, Axis of Anarchy characters, etc.

It's not necessary to read before watching the show, but it is a fantastic addition to a much-loved series and a must-read for not just fans, but MMO and RPG gamers too.

Too short but well done

The background for how the guild came to be, but considering the amount I found this very short and don't like that I have to purchase all copies just to complete the story
