4.5 estrellas.
Ahora sí estaba pensando en darle las cinco, pero creo que voy a guardarme esas cinco estrellas para el tercer libro. O tal vez sí debería dárselas a este… no sé. La verdad es que disfruté muchísimo la historia, pero sigo sintiendo que le falta algo para llegar a las cinco estrellas.
Y creo que sé qué es: no he podido disfrutar ninguna de las relaciones.
Siento que ninguna relación se siente realmente real. Todas se me hacen falsas. Como que todo el mundo está con todo el mundo por alguna razón, por conveniencia, por interés o porque necesitan adelantarse a algo. Y los que no están haciendo algo para conseguir ventaja están perdiendo el tiempo.
Es como si absolutamente todo el mundo tuviera una segunda intención. Entonces yo estoy leyendo y pienso: “Bueno… ¿y aquí quién es real?”. Porque sinceramente, no sé.
Y hablando de gente falsa: odié demasiado a Zara. Con Z, ¿eh? Porque esa mujer es una zorrita, una perrita.
Zara fue horrible. De verdad, ofreció una de las amistades más falsas que yo he podido leer. Fue súper falsa y yo no podía con ella.
También sigo sin entender muy bien cómo funcionan estas pandillas de la mafia. Hay cosas que no me terminan de cuadrar. Porque a Marley la tratan como una princesa, pero al mismo tiempo no; está sola, pero después tiene ayuda; supuestamente tiene una posición, pero luego no parece tenerla.
No entiendo. No entiendo.
Y eso ya lo había dicho en el primer libro: a veces la tratan como la princesa que es y otras veces parece que no. Entonces sigo esperando que alguien me explique exactamente cómo funciona todo esto.
La mamá de los hermanos Bis también me parece rarísima. Hay muchas cosas de este libro que siento que no terminan de encajar y, en general, encuentro bastantes inconsistencias.
Y hay algo que todavía no supero:
Yo sigo esperando que el papá esté vivo JAJAJAAJ
No sé cómo, pero yo quiero que ese hombre aparezca milagrosamente vivo. Que haya perdido la memoria, que haya pasado cualquier cosa, lo que sea.
Yo no quiero que llegue un momento de: “Ah, sí, lo mató”.
No. Yo no quiero.
Porque, además, ¿cómo me vas a dar de protagonista a alguien que le quitó la vida al papá de ella? Yo no puedo.
No he podido conectar con eso. Y creo que justamente por eso tampoco he logrado conectar completamente con el protagonista.
Entonces no, este libro no llega a las cinco estrellas para mí.
Le voy a dar 4.5 estrellas y me voy a leer el tercer libro.
Porque, a pesar de todas estas cosas, la serie me tiene intrigada. Y eso es importante. Si una serie me tiene diciendo “¿qué demonios está pasando?” y aun así quiero seguir leyendo para descubrirlo, algo

I just need to know is Office Dean first name Destiny or Hillary??? It was Destiny in the first book now it’s Hillary in this one….
What I don’t like is how they gave us the last three chapters as a recap. Like… why? What happened to a simple synopsis at the beginning.
So yes, Juke is gone, and now Bishop too. But the real question still hanging in the air is who fathered those twins.
Tyler should’ve kept her mouth shut about being pregnant if she wasn’t planning to keep the baby. Malice didn’t need to know. Let’s see how he convinces her to keep it. And Zara? She needs to get herself together messing around with father and son well, the man who raised him.
Marley and Pope… I hope they can make it, but once she finds out he’s the one who took her dad’s life, there goes that friendship. And now somebody shot Pope so who pulled that trigger.
On to the last book to see how everything plays out. 🔥📚🔥

Nice very nice
Omg this series is so lit. I'm glad my girls came out ok. But Zara had me looking at her sideways. I hope my boy Pope is ok cause he didn't deserve that, really. My mind is wondering on Don, I hope he is ok. Why the cops all of a sudden asking bout Bishop they don't even have a body. I hope the two king guys are not the father of the twins cause if he did something to his son, how would that turn. Out. U did good on yet another book and I'm looking forward to reading more of them. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and while eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read

Chile. This book was all over the place. It was like so many things going on, and while they all connected one way or another, there was just something being thrown into the mix every other page. Like, good lord.
And for it to end the way it did, makes it that more annoying, because these books are already short. So I feel like we could've gotten more from the story. But what do I know.
Anywho, I'm glad Malice, Pope and Don did what they needed to do. The only reason I am considering reading the third book is because I need to know what's happening next with Don.

Omg if these aren’t the best book series to read I don’t know what is. Marley and Pope I love them together! Tyler and Malice too! Zara I don’t care for too much because she turned out to be someone I don’t think highly of anymore. I just hope Tyler and Malice get together and she doesn’t put the baby up for adoption. With this saga more and more gets unraveled and spilled. The brothers still show that they’re not to be played with and question if they’re pledging their loyalty to Bishop or one another. Living in his shadow and control is slowly starting to take a toll on them so decisions have to be made. A connection between the two crews is ultimately revealed and I wonder if that will create peace within them if it’s not too late.

Crazy
I don't know how I feel about book 2 because it kinda seemed all over the place. I don't mind and a fast book but I think this went too fast pace. Malice is all confused about what to do and now might have a baby with Tyler. For Pope and Don to be twins they're really not close at all. And the so-called loyalty they had for Bishop sucked. Bishop really wasn't a good example to be a father. Now the twins might be Kings affiliated just crazy

Getting Begter
Now that Bishop is out the story is getting more interesting. All that he expected his sons to do sounded crazy in my opinion. Marley and her friends seemed a little dense to me too. They were all dicmatized. Especiially the one who was doing Bishop . I will read the next part to see what's going on with the Kings court because they sound like a gang to me. The story is getting better.

I like this story from the beginning to the end and can't wait to the finale. Marley is smart but

Bishop should have known that his boys were not about to play about their mother and would find the truth. Zara thinking she's slick when Bishop isn't loyal to anyone but himself.
