Reading 'The Most Expensive Thing I Own Is My Yes' felt like walking alongside someone listening deeply and daring greatly. Felecia Foster invites us into the costs and rewards of an answered yes. Hers is a journey that stretches from marginalization to mission fields around the world.

Her narrative drew me beneath the surface of faith: moments of raw conviction paired with uplifted hope. I was moved by scenes of surrender, convicted by the cost of obedience, and inspired by her willingness to follow God's voice from the projects of the American South to Paris, and beyond.

Foster’s voice is honest, grounded, and deeply human. Each mission trip, across South America, Africa, and Europe, did more than just recount places. They wove a thread of God’s will into a life committed to saying yes. Her stories do more than inspire; they challenge assumptions, prompt reflection, and call for action.

This book stirred something inside me. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, encouraged me to think about my own yes, and convicted me through its authenticity. If you're looking for more than just a memoir, if you’re seeking a challenge to your faith hidden within a compelling story, this is it.
