solid 3 stars!
Picked this up as a lil black friday treat and was pleasantly surprised! The only other work I've read by this author was Chained To Krampus, and by novelette standards, this was a massive improvement. This world was so immersive and you get a real understanding of these Lion men creatures and their society. The period (ancient rome) accurate terms were also a nice touch. I also enjoyed the additional smut scenes and the drama was good too. My only complaint was that the ending was at an odd place; it felt premature. And while there were fewer spelling mistakes this time around, I think a proofreader is definitely needed.

So disappointing. I hated the FMC and it was poorly written and RIDDLED with spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. Skip it.
Monster (both MCs are lion people). Fight to the death for FMC as prize. Public claiming. No romance. No virgins? No OWD. Slight OMD as another male almost claims her. Public sex. Violent sex. Sex over a corpse. Marking. Pregnancy. Epilogue a few months later with them as sort-of regional governors and playing a political game.

A very interesting take on a gladiator's arena.
My only gripes with this book were some grammatical errors and the fact they say "I love you" after what amounts to a single, conscious day.

short. hot. intense! I had low expectations for such a short read but no complaints it was to the point and steamy in all the right places and who doesn't love found mates!
