Princes of Passion #2

His Royal Matchmaker

Rate this book
Everyone deserves their fairytale, even stubborn, infuriating European princes…

Hollywood’s top matchmaker, Emily Neale, knows love. Or at least, she knows how to find it for everyone else. Her own romantic life? Non-existent. But when she’s invited to help a royal family across the Atlantic, it’s the opportunity of a lifetime; that is, until she meets her most difficult client yet.

Prince Hugo Bastien has always put duty before desire. Running a kingdom leaves little time for love, and the idea of letting a stranger meddle in his personal affairs seems absurd. Still, he agrees to his mother’s scheme, if only to prove that no matchmaker can break through his icy exterior.

But Emily isn’t like anyone Hugo’s ever met. She’s smart, bold, completely off-limits, and precisely the kind of woman he can’t stop thinking about.

As their professional boundaries blur, both Emily and Hugo must decide what they’re willing to risk. Can a man bound by tradition follow his heart? Or will their connection be the one match neither of them dares to make?

I loved it

His Royal Matchmaker is a wonderful book you have to read it if you love royal romance! Emily and Hugo the prince were the perfect couple but they had a lot of twists and turns to go through before they figured it out. She was hired by the queen to match the prince with a bride. The prince is to busy and does not have the time to meet anyone and he doesn’t believe in true love. The prince lets Emily go through her matchmaking process but he ignores the candidates and makes Emily crazy. This is her business and her reputation on the line. Just know the story gets so much better but I hate spoilers so buy this book and find out what happens. This is a excellent well written story of how true love always wins. This book holds your interest from the first page. It’s a clean romance with realistic emotional misunderstandings and an amazing happy ever after.

It was a tolerable pallet cleanser book. Fair warning, it has 0 spice. Which wouldn’t be a big deal to me if there weren’t so many editing errors🫠. Like if the main characters aren’t having orgasms, then all your plot points need to be solid. It annoyed me how many I found, esp in such a short book. There were some good angsty moments that had me, but overall I won’t remember this book.

Protocol weren't stopping this love triangle for succeeding

Hugo and Emily both take a romantic adventure that is blooming with an explosive outcome with protocol to another limit. Enjoy reading this suspenseful love story.

Perfect Light Read – Enemies to Lovers, No Spice, and So Much Fun!

I flew through His Royal Matchmaker in one sitting—less than 300 pages of pure charm.

This book is everything I want in a feel-good romance: funny, sweet, and full of heart. If you’re craving a low-angst, no-spice rom-com with lovable characters and adorable banter, this one hits the mark.

The pacing is perfect—fast enough to keep you turning pages, without ever feeling rushed.

A great pick for fans of romantic comedy who want all the sweetness without the steam. Highly recommend for a cozy weekend read!
