Grief changes everything—but it doesn’t have to keep you stuck.
In Dealing with Grief and How to Move Beyond It, pastor and author Keia Holt shares her personal journey through loss, heartbreak, and healing. From losing her mother to cancer at just eighteen to facing the pain of other family losses and a tragic relationship, Keia offers an honest look at the many faces of grief—and the faith that helped her survive.

Gentle guidance on how to recognize your pain while moving toward peace.
There’s no formula for healing, but there is hope. If you are grieving, this book will remind you that you are not alone—and that with God’s help, you can grow stronger, find peace, and move beyond grief.
I have included scriptures that, as a pastor, I believe will bring comfort to those who are grieving. While we all need to learn how to deal with grief, none of us need to remain in a state of grief. I don't have an exact formula (I don't believe there is one), but I am sharing my story, and I pray that it helps someone.
Dealing with Grief is a very well written book on the subject. It gives insights into the life of the author and practical info on how to navigate one's Grief cycle. I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with any form (type) of loss.
The author provides a look into her own struggles with grief to help understand it and heal from it. She explores different types of grief and how to get through them. I highly recommend for anyone who is either struggling with their own grief or wants to help others dealing with their grief!
Kia has done such an amazing job with how vulnerable she was writing this book. She has experienced a lot of different kinds of grief and noted that not all grief is the same. This book made me emotional and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling with grief.
