After Toni Gardner's husband died unexpectedly, Toni decided to retire from her job and move into an exclusive senior living community. Now, though, she is beginning to regret her hasty decision. She's bored and lonely...until the day when her next door neighbor Elaine walks into her life.
Elaine has a warm heart, a great sense of humor...and Toni can't help noticing that she's also really cute. Toni wants to be friends with Elaine, maybe even more.

A Ladies' Night to Remember
This is a moving story about two women looking for a new beginning. Toni wanted to make some changes after the death of her husband, so she moved into a new community for seniors and found the love of her life, Elaine.
Elaine had endured a lot of emotional and physical abuse from her previous husband. This is a story about being uplifted by a strong group of woman. I really enjoyed the story and this is a true work of beauty.

I love the way the women in the story were so strong and let Elaine see that there was kindness and that she can overcome even her fears of her physical appearance.
I also like that the two main characters were older. I feel like, no matter your age, you can always begin again. Age should not factor in the choices we make in order to be happy.
