The two titles, Essaim: Expedition and Essaim: Witness, are the first in a series of fictional short stories based on the highly vivid dreams of the author.
The Essaim short stories occur simultaneously. The stories focus on two different groups as each encounters alien life on a mining expedition. Expedition, the first book, follows a group of scientists as one of their group makes a life-changing error which then leads to the group's destruction. Witness, the second title, follows a group of Han Solo-ish rogues who arrive on the planet just in time to see the catastrophic results of the first book.
I plan to add additional sections as time allows and as interest demands. The endings are not typical, but hopefully the story telling is decent enough to please an audience.
