From the author of the Terminate the Other World! A rising dungeon master unleashes his millions of tiny wings into a wider, more dangerous world . . .
Having one’s entire village wiped out by a high-born brute and almost dying in the process would really put a damper on things for most people. But Belissar isn’t most people. Not anymore. After being saved by a little lone bee core, he found himself with his own tower and gained not only legions of cherished, fanatically loyal pollinating minions but also a host of new powers, weapons, and warriors to protect his beloved hives.
Belissar’s latest project comes care of a special request from his patron expanding underground to raise fire-type bees (hot honey, anyone?). He’s also negotiating with a race of skunklike people inhabiting the Underway to work together to eradicate the Hunger. But will they raise too much of a stink?
Meanwhile, as he takes care of things at home, leaders across other lands and realms are being roused by the gods to gather their forces and prepare for war. And the only thing they have in common is the strange, singular vision lodged in their minds. Something about . . . bees?
The third volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than four million views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!
Tropes unlikely hero, anthropomorphic animals, hive mind, natural leader, and unstoppable enemy.
A 15hr audio book. From start to finish, this mostly slow paced story is awesome. I like the characters and how to author tied the story up, leading me to want more every chapter. If you are into Litrpg and like the slice of life fantasy, I recommend this book.
I honestly love this series and can’t get enough… I read the most recent one and just one night. It’s interesting, adorable, and has engaging dungeon building.
I am in love with this series. I hate waiting but man are these worth it every time. The puns are amazing and the story is gripping and the choices/powers are interesting.
I had bee-n waiting (impatiently) for this third installment, and it did NOT Disappoint! I laughed, I even teared up a bit in places! I am emotionally attached to bees. My literal biggest phobia. I can't wait to see what happens next! Un -bee-lievable!!! : )
The wait for this third novel of Bellisar and his Bee-Dungeon has not been a disappointment; in fact it has been a enjoyable romp through a subject which many find boring — politics!
Bellisar has stepped into his role as the leader of his Dungeon's monsters and people with some trepidation, but has advisors to help navigate the twisting path of negotiation and treaty required of all rulers. Hopefully he'll remember his lines as he makes his first meeting with another king.
I waited impatiently for the next installment because I enjoyed the story so much. When I actually read it the pacing was very slow and the naming convention continued to be annoying and confusing. Each time an upgrade became available or a decision needed to be made the exact same slow process was repeated and it was hard to maintain interest as a reader. I had trouble getting through this book even though I wanted to know what would happen next.
As the previous two volumes a very entertaining read in which the author manages to give bees unique personalities which do develop and depict an interesting somewhat unique world. The story can drag a bit at times, especially picking new powers is a bit repetitive, but I don't mind too much and I do enjoy it in litRPG stories when a protagonist has multiple choices and contemplates which is best. All in all, a great read and solid addition to the series.
This was a good follow-up to book 2. Im loving how the tower and bees are progressing, and Belissar, himself, is growing and maturing. He showing growth as a leader and as a maturing man and coming into his own. I can't wait for book 4, and to see what happens with the new characters, Tower Lords, simalaks, Gods, and hive members.
