Maureen Diverspike moved to the Island a year ago. She won a huge lottery and was now wealthy. So self absorbed in her new lifestyle she felt free to make demands of anyone she dealt with. The contractor, the delivery driver, the personal trainer and her meditation life guide. Isla, Jace and Glo have a short list of suspects, but the hurricane that swept across the island complicates things a little. With everything closed, people supposedly staying home it is a challenge to confirm alibis. Glo is in her usual imp mode adding smiles to the story. It is also heart warming to see how everyone helps all to board up before the storm and do clean up. I really wish I could do clean up like Isla, wave my hand and poof! Everything is cleared away.
It’s satisfying when the villain is found and punished, and book 12 definitely delivers along with the surprises of discovering the true evildoer.
Magical PADA detective Isla, her fellow team members Jace (her now boyfriend too) and their sidekick spicy mini dragon Glo, along with Nana, Sebrastian and a host of delightful characters all contribute and help out till the killer is found. Bakery shop Kyra remains the baking bestie and is a fav character for her charm and generosity. Love the characters and support for each other.
Entertaining as well as enjoyable, book 12 was a satisfying novel and an absolutely worthwhile read
A hurricane is approaching the Bermuda Triangle islands and the team is helping people prepare. But they get a call that soon leads them to a murder. Despite the storm, there are plenty of suspects for the murder of a very wealthy, very unliked woman. Lots of unique fun characters and plenty of surprises. Can't wait for the next adventure.
With a Hurricane on the way the last thing the detectives need is a murder. Clever mystery, suspects to investigate and madeleines to eat. An exciting visit to the triangle. Love the islands, the people and of course Glo is up to her antics!
Book 12 takes place in the Bermuda Triangle with the whole PADA crew. There is murder with multiple good suspects, humor, mystery, romance, friends, and love. Highly entertaining.
Immersed in the captivating narrative, I found myself deeply connected to the richly developed characters. Their intricate journeys and compelling arcs have left me eagerly anticipating the next installment in this extraordinary series, yearning to uncover what adventures await.
I have read all of the series about PADA by Jenna St. James and each one is fun and easy to read. Love the way characters unfold and interact wiyh each other
