The dungeon’s unstable. The loot’s unpredictable. And a woman just hatched from an egg.
Life was finally starting to feel normal—if running a monster-filled farm with two girlfriends and an army of talking puppets could ever be considered normal.
Then a stranger showed up—a beautiful girl begging for access to Sam’s personal dungeon. As if things weren’t already complicated, now the dungeon is glitching. Volatile floors, erratic bosses, and corrupted loot? Just another day in Amberglow.
Luckily, Sam’s not alone. Chomp, his best friend and fiercely loyal Sharkpuppy, is always by his side. His goth girlfriend Faryn still thinks he's her knight in denim armor, and the scatterbrained genius Maeve just wants to study the AI-turned-girl like she’s her latest experiment.
The farm might be growing, but so are the complications.
I'm really not sure how the author did it but this book is so much worse than the 1st book I mean this book was absolutely boring I do not recommend it at all if this is the way the story Keeps going I'm gonna stop reading this series...
This second book was as funny as the first, with Maeve and her little puppets stealing the show. The plot wasn't great, but it was enough to support Maeve.
The book starts with the egg they found near the end of book 2 finally hatching. And instead of a Gigabeast, it's the AI that controls their "zone" in human form. And with that, the AI protocols she left in charge start to go off the rails, leading to the "antagonist".
The harem was effectively 2, but the 2nd member finally has sex with the MC, and a third joins near the end of the book. The 4th is already queued up. Some of the intimate scenes were quite well done, while others were a little cheesy.
I do look forward to more Maeve and her hand puppets, which own this series and just let the MC think he's in charge.
This is the most unique lrpg novel I've read in a long time. Pokémon for adults. Wise cracking puppets, sharkpuppies, smitten AI clones, and a guy with a dungeon and a farm that is just trying to live peacefully with his harem, but as the MC has to save the bloody world.
Unique view on dungeons, nice character development, enjoying the story line. Not your usual dungeons diving adventure, elements of Pokémon included in a different fashion. Thanks for an entertaining read.
Plenty of humor in this book mixed into the fast paced adventures. The slow growth of the MCs family and the unique action of the other characters makes this joy to read.
