Hiral and his raid group have achieved A-Rank and conquered the Cradle of Tomorrow, but there’s no time to celebrate. Closing the Black Gates won’t be enough, the Raze will still overwhelm all of Genesis.
Now, the only chance the world has lies with the brightest and most dangerous minds ever to grace the The Fallen.
If anybody had a plan to stop the Raze, it would be them. Too bad they’ve never been the most cooperative. To get the Fallen’s answers and have a hope of fighting the Raze, Hiral and his companions will need enough strength to face the storm they know is coming.
Ultimately, their only chance is to do what nobody has done before. Achieve the pinnacle of power. Achieve S-Rank.

Pages and pages of descriptions of advanced spells. Mind-numbing. Even Hiral had to read it several times to ingest it all. You can tell there was A LOT of copy/paste in this book. Spell descriptions. Minor tweak to a spell. Spell descriptions reposted.
Getting through this book was a labor of love. Having made it through the first six, I'm invested and wanted to see how the story progressed.
Started by reading. Switched to fast reading. Moved on to scanning. Finished by skipping the fight scenes altogether, and just reading the parts of the plot that actually had, well, plot.
Each of these seven books (written for screen as they almost already are) equal 20 episodes so you've already got 140 episodes seven seasons worth of excellent television With the way streaming and local networks combine nowadays you could easily have all of the notification Windows available to be simulcast to personal devices while watching on the large screen I hope you can pull something like that off
While this definitely is a set up book in many ways, it also felt like it paid off few storylines for those who care about the history of Genesis. This book felt like many pieces of puzzle coming together to put the raid group where it’s been trying to go for the entirety of the series. I won’t spoil specifics. I’ll just say that I enjoyed the story and am glad that I only have to wait a few months for the finale.
I donr know how Clarke does it, but these books NEVER fail to disappoint. Hiral and crew are the friends I am cheering on from behind the scenes. They are so real and relatable that I am thoroughly invested in their success. I cannot wait for the final installment!!!
Characters are getting so strong and I am here for it. Lots of action. Looking forward to the finale.
I am almost certain I missed more references than I got. Teenager mutant ninja turtles, street fighter 2, one piece. I laughed out loud when I got the reference.
