Rate this book
For Alex, college was supposed to be a fresh start. A chance to finally live as himself, not pretending, not hiding. And for a while, it actually feels possible. He has new friends. A relationship that’s real. Moments that feel like he’s finally in his own skin.

But when you're still keeping parts of yourself locked away, even love has limits.

As things heat up with Amber, Alex finds himself craving the intimacy he's always been scared of. Every touch, every late-night phone call, brings them closer, while the secrets he’s buried start pulling them apart. When someone in their friend group begins to suspect the truth, Alex has to ask himself the question he’s been can you really be loved if you’re not being fully seen?

The Fall Between is a raw, romantic exploration of identity, desire, and the cost of silence. Book Two in The Alex Series, it picks up where The Inbetween left off, moving from high school into college, and from secret crushes to real connection.

Perfect for fans of Felix Ever After, I Wish You All the Best, and Only This Beautiful Moment, this heartfelt transgender romance explores what happens when falling in love means revealing your deepest truth.

This book was really just so-so; maybe don’t waste your time??

A.C. needs to find a much better editor. “ There” being used when it should be “their”(possessive). And “your” being written when “you’re” is the correct word.

“I quickly changed my clothes and HIT the suit in the back of my closet.“

“I wasn’t going to campus today. I wasn’t even pretending to go. I’LL CALLED OUT SICK.”

Extremely poor editing, and only a so-so book. Alex admitted to being trans in book 1, but by the end of book 2, still hadn’t told his family. I get that it takes courage, but - seriously??

Gender Choice or Gender Fixed? How Do You Deal With The Issues?

Alex has always felt like a boy, even with the body of a girl and the legal name Alexandria and sex marked F on her Student ID and Driver's License. The ID was revised but that did not solve the problem of personal relationships and friendship building without explanations and physical modifications to support the truth and desires with understanding and acceptance.
