I really do love these characters. This story focuses on Bree and Caleb. And they have phenomenal chemistry. I also love seeing Justine and Calista again. And I can’t wait for the other two couples in this series. I giggled when Jack got arrested, and I’m interested in seeing if he gets brought up again and who the last couple is. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I simply loved the vibes of this novella. It took me back in time to bonfire nights with friends.

The friends to lovers trope had me giddy! Bree and Caleb have the perfect chemistry and just the right amount of tension. Caleb is sweet, patient, and protective. The way he supports and sees Bree 😍🥰🫠 I was rooting for him. And the moment when Caleb and Bree realize they both want more is excellent!

Just as the first book in the series, I was pleasantly surprised by this short story. In my eyes not as good as Scream simply because it’s not wlw #loserlesbian but the characters were well written, definitely could see that it was a sequel but explained everything well enough to where someone could read this without having read the first book and not be lost. Both books are worth a read as they’re short, HEA stories.
