Wow! I had to recuperate after reading this before I could write a review! I'm basically speechless. I was thinking this was maybe a little slow and I was kind of having a hard time getting into it, but, I realized I was mistaken. Gabriela is a new resident in Juniper Springs. She tries to escape her unhappy past in Colorado after losing her mother, only to find herself in a new town with a all new problem. one that she can't seem to escape from. This series really has it all, a crime followed by solving it and a new romance as well as recurring characters. This time it's Gabriela and a regular customer in the bank where she is a teller. unfortunately, she witnesses a robbery that turns into a whole lot more than the Juniper Springs robbery. Rivers has a talent for linking cases and characters from other books, and despite the book ending, the story never starts or ends there. I love the well written characters and scenes. Even though I often say I am looking forward to the next story, I truly am with this book. it ends with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and I need more of this story!

Book 7 in the Juniper Springs series has got to be the best one yet!!! WOW!!! I love this series! We get to meet Gabriela Nolan who has moved to Juniper Springs and works as a bank teller. She's smitten with a customer named Alan Connors and admires him from afar. Then, the bank she works at is robbed at gunpoint by five masked and armed men, her coworker is shot, and another is killed. PI Avery Hart assists the local PD in solving the case, and Gabriela and Alan get closer. Oh, and there's GSDs and a border collie! This one was so good!

The ending what so unexpected.

I have loved this series, it is such an easy reading. It grabs you right from page one. Avery Hart PI is such a great investigator always follows the clues right to the end. I am still reeling from the end. The last words Emma Griffin such a surprise, but she is the one who can solve the case!!! Can't wait for the next book. AJ Rivers you are the best!!

Page turner

Two new characters-Gabriela, a clerk at the bank and Alan, a dog trainer. And Ranger, Alan's German shepherd. The bank was robbed, Gabriela saw part of one of the robbers face and he looked right into her eyes before escaping. Now he wants her. He tries a couple of times and Alan is always there. But that can only happen so many times before... Great job. Thank you.

Thrilling

As I was reading this book I kept hoping and praying that it the last one. This entire series has been wonderful and very exciting but definitely needs to continue. Way too many unanswered questions and personal stories that need to be told and explained. So glad to know it will continue. Highly recommend this series and enjoy.

Juniper Springs got dangerous

What a great slow buildup to an epic ending, even though it made me want to cry! I’m loving the dog training aspect, and the way Alan explained the training was perfect. The shout out for Emma was spot on.

Only one complaint

As usual Ms. Rivers has written a book that keeps me turning pages. I have only one complaint, I can't get anything else done when I am reading one of her books! I'm ready for the next season on all the series.

Good book but really?

After reading several of the books in this series,I've decided that Juniper Springs has more crime per capita than any U.S. city. Fun read and I'm looking forward to the next.
